  1. I like and I think the Ravens like being the underdogs. Gives us a chip on our shoulder not mention it makes beating those "spotlight" teams that much sweeter. If we play 18 or 19 games this season. I don't care/almost prefer that we aren't favored for a single one....just as long as Joe is hosting the trophy at the end
  2. seriously though! And honestly I think everyone is gonna soon find out that Moore has just as much to offer as the other 4. Right now. Throw Moore on the field with Smitty, Perriman, and Wallace....and he's getting single coverage every single time. All 4 of these guys will own single coverage. For Perriman's first NFL throw he beat one of the very best corners in the game for 40 yards or something. I say by mid our offense will be looking really nice...O line needs some time to gel, some time to work the new/coming back wrs, add Waller, Pitta is back, and then maybe one of the best things of all. Kenneth Dixon. It's a long season but I'm ready for some december and January ball. And of course, hopefully February.
  3. I don't think any real Ravens fans care whether people refer to Flacco as elite or not. The media can call him the worst qb in the league for all I care. As long as we're winning and go after a ring every year, that is ALL that matters
  4. agreed. we're targeting a center in the draft or free agency no doubt. kinda doubt we trade for one mid season though i wouldn't mind that
  5. we wouldve been stupid to pay KO what the raiders did
  6. wrong topic mr negative
  7. Realist? yes I call it how i see it if honesty hurts I'm sorry I love the way a WIN hurts : )
  8. If we almost lose every game i'll be stoked. LOL
  9. 3 "c"s and 1 "b" for the defense....and Jimmy was lost.....LOL The defense gave up 1 TD all game on a 4th down vs a very dangerous offense. 7 points all game i repeat. And Jimmy shadowed and held one of the most dangerous wrs in the game to 4 catches for 43 yards and ZERO tds. AANNNDDD WE WON. And every game and Match up every week is different. Thanks for your humor though. Or I mean...Realism.. LOL...some people
  10. While I love the way he played today, it was mostly against the run. Which is great don't get me wrong. But his coverage is what I and most question. And I don't think today gave any answers about that one way or the other. Tyrod is not a throwing quarterback and the bills don't have any wrs besides Sammy. He'll probably draw Coleman and Pryor each next week which will be a small step up from what he saw today. Then things really get going. I think we'll know what we have with wright after weeks 3-7. If he does well vs hurns, crabtree, garcon/desean, shepard/cruz, and Decker. Then I'll be a believer
  11. he had a recent set back in his recovery. sounds like he'll be back anywhere in the next 1-4 weeks.
  12. O look, this ridiculous negative comment is from the same user I frequently see them from. surprise there. You're right, you should probably judge the rest of the season solely off today????wth. This O is loaded and going to get better and better every game. Stoked for my Ravens
  13. He shadowed Sammy Watkins. One of the top and most Dangerous Wrs in the game. Watkins- 4 catches for 43 yards. No TDS. NNNEEEEEXXXXTTTT! LOL
  14. with 2 rookies on the left side, Zuttah having that lapse for a turnover, And yanda having 2 penalties today after 3 in the past 3 years.....the O line is only going to get better and better as the year goes on in my opinion.
  15. yeah those situations are killing us already....??? So many problems today in the VICTORY. Fans like you are going to be why I stop coming to read amd make comments. We're only going to get better and better on O and D. Smitty working his way back, and Wallace and Perriman's chemistry will only grow. And Moore. Plus Pitta and Gilmore working their way back. Not to mention our best RB is working on getting healthy too. Then we'll be working Doom in, and Willie Henry, and the other young pieces on D. This team is going to get stronger and stronger every game will is very convinient considering the first half of our schedule is the softer end. No gimmie games in the NFL anymore though. Plus we clearly weren't trying to hold the ball for 4 seconds and chuck it 50 yards every time vs this blitzing D. It's called a gameplan for each opponent with the only objective being....get the W. We got the W. What team didn't have faults in their game today. NONE. give me a break. though I guess there will always be complaining pessimistic fans. Though I'm guessing you would refer to it as a "realistic" fan. LMAO. Have fun with that attitude
  16. We didn't get much from round 2 and 3? 3 got hurt, impossible to predict. And we didn't get much from round 2??? That's pretty interesting considering the season hasn't started yet.....Can't believe the way people overreact to PREseason. KC sucks and Butler is a star right?! hahaha jeez
  17. I agree on Z and Judon. I would never expect anything from Albert though.
  18. So funny how people think Butler is a superstar after a good PREseason. No really, it actually is hilarious. Up until recently I used to get really annoyed reading all of the negative comments on these pages. Esp. about superstars we let go (Butler) and terrible signing of people that can't play anymore (SSS and Hester). And all the Perriman bs. But Now, I just find it as a legit source of humor. HAHAHA. Just thinking about all these goons and what they're thinking when they see Smitty going all HOF on the Bengals butt', and hester bringing backs a punt for a TD in Pittsburgh, and Perriman taking a 3 yard pass for 80 yards to the house. And Butler never catching a pass in the regular season. Just let the front office do their work people. LOL
  19. I agree with both of those. I think the Hester addition is good for at least one more win then we would've had. But more importantly, I think his value when shine come playoff time
  20. let's think about that...did we really need that kickoff returned for a TD in order to win the SB. YES. I'm guessing a lot of the same people that are doubting Hester cuz of age doubted Smitty for the same reason when he came over. We're talking about two rare cats here. Hall of Famers. I guess ravens fans don't realize he was a pro bowler and the best returner in the league only 2 years ago. Beautiful signing Ozzie. An amazing playmaker that fills a huge need. Perfect fit for both sides. And people, he'll prob only male 4 mill if he has an insane year! In which case it's worth it either way. Can't wait for the Hester haters to take a 180 and jump on the bandwagon once they see this guy help our team. LOL. CANT WAIT
  21. that makes perfect sense for both sides imo. thanks for the update
  22. While I'm not a big fan of Lewis at all either, Cutting Brooks surprised me at first but I understand the move. They guy has all the physical traits to get the job done. But for whatever reason he just doesn't make plays. He also likes to go for the big hit over wrapping up-maybe he learned from Elam. I think that non-interception in that Lions? game-preseason, could've been the writing on the wall. I know it was just preseason, but you have to make plays. Especially if they are handed to you. All of that said, I'm still surprised we cut him. I would've cut ELAM before all of our cuts, esp Brooks. Lewis is a veteran back up, but he doesn't seem to make plays either. Ozzie is really testing my patience holding onto Elam though. The man cost us a shot at a superbowl imo.
  23. I agree on Onsauwor, he could be a good find. Wish Ochi would have stayed. Agreed. Letting Ochi go is a major headscratcher. Don't get that one at all
