  1. Playmakers. We want playmakers. Who cares if you're a "diva" or not
  2. He's an average wr at the Very Very best. And an awful special teamer. That combination = no use for our team Now he'll go be the # 3 with Luck chucking the ball a bunch. He'll probably even move into the number 2 role for a lot of the season considering how fragile Moncrief and TY are. So, in that situation, I wouldn't be surprised if he puts up 75 receptions, for 1,100 yards, and 7 tds. While hurting them on ST at the same time. It's a win win for all 3 parties involved
  3. His skill is what wasn't good enough
  4. I'd rather win with the Owens and deal with the baggage, than lose with the honorable Aikens
  5. I agree Davis with a lot of people on here that Davis is the top WR in this class hands down. I would want Ju Ju and John Ross next, then Williams. Davis at 16 would be Sweeeeeeeet!!! Davis and Perriman for the future would be Nasty
  6. Exactly. Not to mention we don't need a Safety what so ever. We have the best combo in the league, depending on how Earl comes back. I would've hated it if we picked this guy in the first. Especially in this draft, at 16. Instead I'd love to see the Steelers pair him with Mitchell so the whole league can continue to light up their secondary
  7. I so interested to see where Sidney goes. He was far and away my favorite corner in the class
  8. People say this all the time, and the facts continue to prove that it isn't remotely close to being true. If Flacco doesn't elevate the play of those around him, then how does Torrey Smith go from averaging over 800 yds and 7 tds to being virtually worthless in SF? Steve Smith was better at 35 and 36 with Joe than he was in his last couple years with CAR. Did he age backwards or did playing with Joe help him out? Mike Wallace's career was taking a nose dive until last year. Ed Dickson even had much better receiving numbers with Joe than he's had in CAR. We've never seen one receiver fail to be productive with Flacco and then light it up somewhere else. Never. Not even close. Meanwhile, whenever Brady gets hurt, his backup comes in and plays very well and wins games, but Brady gets credit for making others better and Flacco does not. Sorry. Everything is situational. I disagree with just about all of this. Comparing Torrey being on the worst team in the league this year, vs getting his multiple deep shots every game with Joe doesn't make sense. Steve Smith was better at 35 and 36 with Joe??? You can't be serious! Steve Smith is a triple crown winner! A HOFamer. And those 2 massive accomplishments had nothing to do with playing with Joe. Once Again, like Torrey, Mike is a one trick pony. And like Torrey, he was stuck on 2 teams without a QB, and definitely without a QB that can throw the deep ball. Wallace lit it up with Ben cuz he could throw it deep. Stats never tell the whole story. And Ed Dickson?Really, Ed Dickson? I'll leave that one alone. And are you really comparing Joe to Brady, with any sentence or comparison at all. As much as I hate Brady, that's just dumb. And that's not true about Brady's backups. They still win a lot cuz BB is ridiculous, and far and away the best coach. And their D is always underrated for some reason. Brisset is a 3rd round pick, came in and played the Bills at home. The patriots did not score a single point. Yet Brady put up 38 points and 4tds, in 3 quarters, in Buffalo. Flacco has not received much help when it comes to providing him with a legit #1, but he also doesn't elevate those around him much, if at all. He can throw a deep ball, and I would love to see us get back to that. But the coaching has a lot to do with that. I think the line will turn out well too. Between the coaches and Flacco's play last year, I just really hope I can forget about it to be honest. It was embarrassing. New season coming up though. I would imagine Joe's knee is feeling better. But if his heart isn't in it, it won't matter. I'm not bashing Joe, but he should not be compared to Brady. Last year was his worst year imo and it's in the past. We need to get the man a John Ross, or Corey Davis. Ju Ju would be GREAT too!
  9. If that's true, and there was any to get a second round pick in this draft for him, I'd do it. I was thinking the same thing, but I don't know if there is a team out there that would give us a second for Tim. But a guy can dream can't he. Its very Bill Belichickesque A 3rd rounder is fine because it will always us to trade back in the second round to get another player. That way, we could get two 2 round guys. We will have multiple picks then in the 3rd round to do it. In this draft, I'd probably do it for a 3rd as well. It would have to be in the top half of the 3rd though. Getting as many picks in the 2-80 range in this draft is huge On a related note, the browns have so many picks this draft and next year. Of course they've been a joke for so long, but that really might come to and end soon. They have a good coach, they just beefed up their oline nicely, and they might add Garret, Watson, and a lot more. There are bound to be a number of teams that just absolutely nail the first 3 rounds of this draft. It's going to go so far for the whole organization, for so long. Hopefully we're one of those teams
  10. A Sizzle replacement? Why on earth would a 230 LB be on this page? How about talking about Lawson instead of Reddick
  11. Peppers will have a hands down better career than Bucannon, I would love to have him on our team not only for the return game but he can easily learn behind Weddle for a year or two before taking over and being the leader in the secondary. Wait what?? draft a guy in the first so he can maybe be a good returner? And sit for 2 years and try to learn a new position after that, in the NFL. Jefferson is twice the player Peppers ever will be. And Jefferson is still getting better. He's going to shine on our D. Signing Jefferson all but killed the chances of drafting Peppers. And I'm stoked about that. I may be wrong, we'll see. I hope the Steelers take him. If they try to cover people with Mitchell and Peppers as their Safeties...........well, I would love that
  12. If we pick at 16, I hope it's Davis
  13. If that's true, and there was any to get a second round pick in this draft for him, I'd do it.
  14. We've must to draft this guy. No matter what
  15. He looks awesome no doubt. I would be stoked if he played in Doom's spot. Not only can he rush the passer but he looks gritty and determined vs the run too. I wouldn't want to take him at 47 I don't think. But a little after that would work for sure
  16. I agree on the talent from16-50. Those guys are impressive but please excuse my greed. If the stars align, we get a top 10 talent at 16 and a first round talent in the second. Heck move up a few picks in the second if you have to. I hear that completely. And agree. I'm just trying to figure out what potential top 10 talent could fall to 16. I would be all in on Corey Davis for one example. Can't see much else Like Barnett...maybe. But I love the value, and almost player separately, of taking someone like Carl Lawson 20 picks later. In all sincerity, I prefer Ju Ju Smith over Mike Williams, short term for sure. Probably long term as well. And he'll probably go 20 picks later at least than Mike as well. I hear ya. I just can't get over this 2nd round that's gonna happen in this draft
  17. Wagner was a loss but you can't keep everyone. Plus he got so much money. I'm extremely glad we didn't resign Juice or Aiken. I can't believe how much money Guy got, that's ridiculous. We kept Bwill. Added a durable and underrated corner, that will play close to a pro bowl level on our defense imo. Most of all, we added a young, amazing safety, that can cover, and hits and blitzs like a LB. Rated as the 2nd best run defender in the NFL. He essentially replaces Webb in Run defense. Our run Defense is going to be Better. Our overall defense is going to be better. Much better. Not to mention there are big talented Men on the roster that need to hit the field in place of Guy. I'm excited about and waiting to watch Carl Davis, Urban, Willie Henry, and Pierce. Plus the draft. I couldn't be much more stoked on how the Ravens handled FA.
  18. Carl Lawson is a Beast. I think he's underrated. Could be a big dark horse
  19. I don't know the value and what exactly we would get, but I would think we'd be able to at least pick up a late 3rd or 2nd. I also think we need to do that 100%. I think the talent level between players 16-50 in this draft is very marginal. So many awesome first rounders will go in the second this year. I think we should trade back for sure I think Carl Lawson and Ju Ju Smith are MUST grabs for the Ravens, and at this point it looks like they're both going early second
  20. Im thinking it will be Hasson Reddick or Adoree Jackson as the dark horses. I would love Taco if he is still sitting there, he is just scratching the surface of his potential and would start opposite of Sizzle this year. I don't like Reddick at 16, I don't think we need another small LB. Esp. at 16 in this draft. Adoree Jackson looks interesting. Awesome return guy, which would really help us. He seems like a talented corner, but really raw, and not ready. Which means he May be an asset next year, but I think 16 would be a huge stretch for him. I know what you mean as a dark horse pick though, he has a high ceiling. I just think if we take someone at 16, they should contribute right away. I'm with you on Taco! Putting him opposite Suggs would be fun. Seems like he could also play both the OLB and DE role as well. The dline makes such a bigger impact when they're swatting and tipping balls, and it seems like we haven't done that much since Ngata left. Taco could do that for sure. Carl Lawson is my dark horse for 16
  21. This guy is Exactly what we need. If we selected him at any point in the second it would be a steal. Ju Ju is a first round pick in any draft class. If he switched places with Mike Williams last year, I think he would be selected before him in the draft
  22. I am all about getting the extra picks this year. We just need someone valuable sitting at 16 that we don't exactly need from a positional standpoint. The thing this year is there are at least 50 players that could go in the first so I just want as many picks as possible early. Guys like Harris and Tim Williams are needed, but could they possibly be there in the second? They might. I agree 100% that there are at least 50 players that could go in the first! it's nuts! I want as many 2nd round picks as possible.
  23. I love Lawson, so much potential. His injury history just scares the heck out of me unless we got him in the second. Talent alone warrants a top 20 pick. That's what I was thinking. I don't know about his injury history. But on tape the guy easily looks like a top 20 pick to me. Top 10-15 even imo
  24. Charles Harris and Carl Lawson are both edge players. Almost every mock has Harris going in the first round and Lawson in the second.......here are Lawson's youtube highlights https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=lpPLgY350nI He honestly looks like a top 10 pick to me. Am I missing something??
  25. I like Charles Harris, but I like Carl Lawson more (way more after watching highlights again just now). And Lawson is going later in the draft. Carl Lawson is easily one of the strongest, nastiest, and toughest football players I've ever seen. Go watch his tape please! He's insane!!! I think Ju Ju Smith and Carl Lawson are MUST grabs for the Ravens. Long term and short term fixes in so many ways. Kinda looks like they're both going in the second at this point, but who knows. This draft is insane. So many of the second rounders this year would be high first rounders in a lot of drafts imo
