Really hoping something happens with Claiborne. We can focus a lot of picks on edge rushers and linebackers. Really light a fire under Correa's butt. Hopefully grab a wide receiver in an early round and a bargain RT
I think someone should kick the tires on Cordarelle Patterson. We could get him cheap and grab a WR in maybe the second or third round.
As I see it now, no. We have no real choice but to win out, and no-one can feel comfortable on a 2 game away stretch against the two teams that play us the hardest. We'll likely drop the Pittsburgh game in my opinion. We can handle Cincybut there won't be much point by then.
Prediction- The Ravens use a 3-4th rounder on a QB and begin the grooming process. With the last couple QB's coming out of these drafts we should invest a couple midrounders over the next few years to give a shot. In a few years, we will be having to make some tough decisions with Flacco. If he can't turn things around with a good steady OC, he'll be putting on a new uniform by 2019.
He's responsible for some amazing plays this season. I do hope at some point he's given more of a chance to shine because I believe he can.
Tavon Young is one of the only bright spots in this rookie class aside from Stanley.
We have seen amazing flashes from this kid, why is he not in the regular rotation?
Am I the only one that would be excited if we went against the grain and took Zeke? His presence would open up the run game and passing game so much. The one thing I have total faith in the Ravens drafting is to find good defensive talent in later rounds. It's still many months before the season starts and we can find plenty of talent still to fill necessary gaps in the defense. It's hard, to me, to turn down a player that can potentially give us 1000+ yards and double digit touchdowns. That's an impact to our season that'll be tough to emulate with a defensive player. Aside from Jack and maybe Buckner, Zeke would be a very noticeable presence on the field that'll give our offense an entirely new dimension. Im just not too comfortable with our RB's. We have an entire roster of great backup RB's but i dont think any of them are gonna pop. And if we can;t produce a solid running game, were gonna have a long season.
I've been on the WR in round one bandwagon. Then I keep watching Webb play....
If Perriman doesn't come back this year we need to silent protest his first catch next year at home. If it's anything short of a touchdown, the whole stadium should go silent until they get back in the huddle. Then of course cheer for everything afterwards. But were sending a message...
We made alot of long term agreements to our secondary and put money into resigning and signing new guys. Aside from Hill and Smith, noone is doing very much else for their money. I just dont see them really investing a high round pick unless it's a safety. If we go Defense were looking at our future Suggs replacement.
That's the best part about our offense is with SSS coming back now and hopefully Pitta, they're our biggest financial investments in the receiving game. We lucked out I think with Givens and Kamar can be a solid #3 at times but were not breaking the bank on any of these guys. If we can find our Dez Bryant/Calvin Johnson prototype to compliment Perrimans speed and SSS in the slot, we'll finally have what we need not to sweat out being more than 7 pts behind.
Use another high round draft pick on a skill position. We need to rebuild the future on both ends, I wouldn't be surprised if Flacco doesn't raise some hell about getting him starter level receivers at the very least. Leaving SSS out of the picture right now, there's not many receivers we can believe in to really produce consistently. Grab another stud WR back-to-back years and give us some dangerous weapons. We can all agree our season would be alot different if we had Boldin and Torrey, right?

We need help at the skill positions first and foremost, I agree. Even with the Claiborne deal going through, the Ravens need to heavily invest a draft into stockpiling the CB and WR positions with young talent. Pittsburgh needed cornerbacks, bam went out and made it happen. And it's probably gonna pay off for them in another year or two when those guys mature. Im really hoping we get Dumervil back cheap as well. We cant fix all our problems in one off season and, as long as he's healthy, he can really put the bandaid on the lack of pass rush.
