Derek Barnett and Reuben Foster still there that l like in the 1st.
Why is Steve Smith is reminding teams about what players we like.Â

Gotta say you ain't kidding. LOL. I probably would do that but keeping looking at the updates.Â

Are your serious? LOL. They're desperate.Â
Man that sucks. I like Davis but still have Mike Williams, Reuben Foster, and Derek Barnett still on the board.Â
3 hours ago, Ravensfansince03 said:Man, after listening to Steve Smith, and watching john Ross's highlight tape...I'm convinced that we need to pick Ross if he's available
In all honestly, I'm not a big fan of John Ross that much. He's just a speedster with questionable hands and we already got speed. He probably gonna be another Tavon Austin, Brandin Cooks type of a player. We need big wideouts so I like Corey Davis or Mike Williams better imo.
if Sidney Jones is there in 2nd at our pick, id take him over quincy wilson
I agree. đ
I think now drafting Derek Barnett is the safest choice now since these receivers have injury concerns and we can't afford it to be another Perriman in their rookie season. If healthy, the best players are Corey Davis and Mike Williams but the safest choice is Derek Barnett.
Reuben Foster could also be another great pick for the Ravens but l think that the Ravens should've sign Zach Brown as to he only sign a 1 year deal worth up 4.65M with the Skins and we wouldn't have to use a 1st round pick on a LB if that's the case he slips. We could then focus on pass rusher and Wr instead of passrusher, Wr, and LB. Now we got 3 choices instead of having 2. But if they don't draft Foster, then Correa got to step up.
8 hours ago, MadStorkSociety said:What if Corey Davis & Derek Barnett are both on the board??
Tough choice. We need both LOL. But any one of them l'll be happy with either Ozzie chooses between these two if it comes down like that. Lol. đ
Man that's another guy l will love to have. I wish we had 2 first round picks. đ
Mike Williams... Corey Davis; Corey Davis... Mike Williams. Doesn't matter. Either of these guys would be a 1 one receiver. Take the one that was not drafted yet with our pick.Â
Â
Would Browns trade their 1st&12th picks to Ravens for our 16th&Joe Flacco? Ravens could use Joe's cap space to sign Kapernick or even Cutler as stopgap till even next year's draft to get a QB or us picking one this year in rd 2.
Lol l laugh so hard on this. đđđđđ

Hmmm... nice list. I really don't have a specific choice but l prefer either Foster, Davis, Barnett, or Williams. If either of those 4 are still on the board, you got to take him. If none of the guys l mention are gone, then trade back a couple of spots. I hope l don't see them trade back when either are these guys are still on the board when we pick. So l hope that's not the case. đ

I still think we are one year away from a super bowl run though. I think the wild card is a possibility for the Ravens, I don't see them winning the division if Pittsburgh stays healthy though.
I agree. I think the Ravens are one year away for contending for a championship. We fans got to realize is that it is very hard to fix every hole in one year. We did a good job getting pieces for the secondary this year now it might take next offseason to get some pieces for the offense. 2018 might be a huge year for us, and l hope we have a decent year in 2017 and compete for a playoff spot. đ

Trade back. One of them will still be available 7-8 spots later, and you net one or two more picks.
Solid choice... you think we can pick up a 2nd or a 3rd rounder? to move back 7-8 spots
Moving back 7-8 spots to #16 means a net trade value gain of around 250 points (according to the "standard" TVC which most experts still use). That would easily net us a trhird rounder PLUS a fifth or sith rounder in the pick #24-27 region. A second rounder would be a huge steal - those picks are worth about 40-70 points more than 250 points. Not totally out of question if a team gets desperate enough - but I don't think it's a likely scenario.
If, however, one of the #28-32 teams wanted to trade up... that could net us their first and second rounder - and maybe then some... However, jumping up that much in the first round doesn't happen too often...Agreed.... I am expecting to gain a 3rd rounder by trading back ( I think the # 24 -#28 spot is realistic) and we can still get the player we are looking for.... plus
If we drop the all the way to # 26-28.... I really do see us getting a 3rd and a 5th... at least a 3rd and a 6th.
I think dropping back from #16 to #24-#28 is way too far to me imo. You be almost drafting at the end of the first round. The only way l would trade back that far is they have to give me their second rounder or a 1st round pick in next years draft not for just a 3rd rounder or later pick. For me, l would just only trade back to #20 at best no later if the guys we are interested are off the board.Â
I'm glad TJ got number 23 and look at the picture of Joe. Lol Priceless.
I like the travel to Miami in the preseason. That's different. đ
I still would love us to grab Sidney Jones in the draft and then it would really solidify the secondary. đ

I suggest # 25 .
I kind of like 23 better for Jefferson. I think that number looks good on him. đ Weddle 32 Jefferson 23 flip flop numbers. Lol. đ

I didn't mean that he was a better option, l say l wouldn't mind signing him if they didn't want to resign Webb. But now that Webb is back, he could give us good amount of depth in the secondary. I like Webb. đ
As to we alreay know, Kyle Arrington likely be released with the Ravens after he passes his physical according to CBS Sports. http://www.cbssports.com/fantasy/football/news/ravens-kyle-arrington-likely-to-be-released/

The 3rd WR in our system never put up quality production stats... and that's in a pass first offense. On a balanced team that runs the ball well, this offense is only going to yield production out of 1 TE and 2 WRs for the most part. Your 3rd WR is going to get maybe 3-4 targets a game and probably only catch 2-3 balls.
Not 4 receivers at one time, l'm just saying it gives Joe a decent amount of receivers to throw too. That's all. Don't necessary have to sign Boldin. It could just gives us another target that Joe is comfortable with.Â
4 minutes ago, rmcjacket23 said:If we use a first round pick on one of those guys, I highly doubt we would be interested in signing Boldin afterwards. Doesn't make much sense.
Yeah, maybe. Just thinking that it could add another weapon. 4 decent receivers could have Joe plenty of targets.Â

JuJu Smith could be a good value in the second round and signing Boldin along with it. đ
