Joe Flacco will just have to play up to his contract. I see Carl Lawson,Desmond king or Corn Elder as Raven on day 3. My pick CORN ELDER !CORN ELDER!
Desmond King is still on the board. Holy smokes! He could be our future safety once Weddle retires and could also contribute at corner as well... a playmaker.
I gotta say the Ravens defense is gonna be elite in 2017 for sure. The only thing l wish they did was gotten Rueben Foster in the 1st and got a corner later but hey Humphrey is ok and Ozzie must be worried about his shoulder. Did'nt do nothing to approved the offense, but we got the cuts and also got 2018 to improved that. 2017 will be a decent year, but 2018 will be a scary team. 👍

I'm not watching this live but is Sidney Jones still there?

Thats why you get crap. You sarcastically make a comment like that, ie if i go with my opinion im an idiot --- but your the first one to call our FO idiots if they dont do what you think.
Exactly. Right on.
8 minutes ago, Sami84 said:no chance in hell ozzie doesnt take robinson if its between him and lamp.
Which is the opposite of what i'd do
which means I'm an idiot according to all this board.
No you not an idiot. That's your opinion and l respect that. I like Lamp better. 👍
Boost the o-line. Draft Forrest Lamp (Not Cam Robinson) with our second and Pat Eflien in the third and if Sidney Jones is there in the 3rd, use the early 3rd draft pick on Sidney and late third on Eflien. Strength the o-line so we could give Joe some time. O-line, D-line, and the Secondary will be a strengths to this team.

I agree. I would draft Forrest Lamp (Not Cam Robinson) in the 2nd and Pat Eflien at C in the 3rd so we could satisfy our o-line. If Sidney Jones makes it until the 3rd round, use the high 3rd round pick on Sidney and the late 3rd round pick on Eflien, then use our last picks to draft a passrusher like a Judon type and then sign Boldin to a 1 year deal until we find a replacement in 2018. Our strength could be our o-line, d-line, and secondary... three key positions.

There were only 2 players I was really hoping we didn't take at 16, that I though would be a possibility. Cam was # 2. #1 was Marlon. Absolute worst case scenario and then some imo. We'll see.
As incredibly painful as yesterday was, I still somehow stand by what I was think before the draft started.
Friday is more important this Thursday this year. For sure.
I'm REALLY hoping we give up a 2018 pick or two for another pick or 2 today (Friday)
Yeah l hope so too. Humphrey could be a decent player. I was a little iffy on the Stanley pick last year because l wanted Ramsey or Jack but that pick turn out great for us.
23 minutes ago, sizzlingdoom said:Those "safe" picks were complete whiffs. It's set us back, there's no getting around it. It's all started at Elam and things haven't gotten any better in years
It all started with the Ray Rice incident. Since then, the office begin to take "safe" picks instead of risk to take high character players that could make an immediate impact.
12 minutes ago, sizzlingdoom said:Lamp should've been our pick at 16.
It's unreal he's still on the board, guys like Eric Fisher go first overall, and Jake Matthews goes before Mike Evans. But Lamp doesn't go in the first in this draft, and we take a guy that can't cover down that field at 16 overall. When we have 3 set starters at corner too. Our FO has become Pitt and NE spies...LOL
Lamp is one of the best, polished, and most versatile lineman I've seen come out in the past decade, or ever for that matter
I definitely would've like Lamp as our 1 pick rather than Humphrey. It would've been a better strategy and good idea to draft Lamp in the 1st, Sidney Jones (since he doesn't have to play right away) or Desmond King in the 2nd (Desmond King is definitely playmaker at corner that could also contribute at safety and could replace Weddle in the future), Pat Elfein in the 3rd, and so forth. Then just sign Boldin to a one year deal and then find a replacement in 2018 and their you have it. But it didn't go this way. LOL. But some of these ideas could still happen.
Time to load offensive line now and give Joe some time, draft Forrest Lamp in the 2nd and draft Pat Elfein in the 3rd so we could be set with LT: Stanley, LG: Lamp, C: Elfein, RG: Yanda, RT: Lewis. Solid o-line.

No thanks, don't want another rookie year Perriman
I will still draft Sidney Jones if he makes it until the 3rd round.

No longer be an issue?
Why? Cuz we just picked a guy that doesn't have instincts, ball skills, and can't cover down the field? He got torched in multiple games trying to do so. Gave up 18 yards a reception as a starter???? For the 16th pick in this draft? What a joke
All because he tested well in underwear at the combine and went to Alabama.
Time to step down Ozzie. Now I'm nervous to watch tomorrow instead of excited.

These first and second round WHIFFS are killing us. Marlon at SIXTEEN OVERALL better not end up on this list
We might as well bolstered the O-line now by drafting Forrest Lamp at guard with our 2nd, then draft Pat Eflein at center with one of our 3rd round picks and hopefully use our early 3rd with Sidney Jones then my draft opinion will change because we boost the o-line and then sign Boldin to a 2 year deal and call it a day.

Yeah. I heard he gets burned multiple times in College. Man l really wanted Davis or Barnett. Why Philly got to take them. Smh.
Besides Forrest Lamp, JuJu Smith, Pat Eflein, Sidney Jones, Desmond King, or Kevin King nobody else l really like. At this point since Foster is gone, l will just starting focus on the Offensive line at this point now. Draft Forrest Lamp with our second and get Pat Elfein at center with our third and also hope somehow use one of our 3rd on Sidney Jones. Then just sign Boldin and call it a day.
I spoken to soon, Foster is gone to 49ers.
Well, it kinda looks like Foster will make it to the 2nd round tomorrow but they gotta trade up.
Just now, Sami84 said:I don't see how we can put a competitive offense out there. It's just not possible..
this has to be the worst O in the league.
Maybe. But we got next year to fix it.
5 minutes ago, rmcjacket23 said:Because he's not making it to our 2nd round pick anyway.
If they want Foster, they probably gonna have to trade up early to get him.
Takk McKinley wasn't professional in doing that, but l understand.
If Foster slips to the 2nd round, l advise Ozzie to trade up to get him tomorrow.
Dang l almost forget about Jabrill Peppers. That's another good pick for the Browns.
If Ozzie can make it up and get a great pick in the 2nd, then l could be excited again. 👍

Wait until next offseason to fix the offense. Upside Suggs and Weddle, this defense is set for a couple of years. 2018 will be a special team. To much to overcome in fixing this offense this year. Just sign some veterans to a one year deal to fill the gap and then focus more on the offense next year.
