  1. I remember the 2011 season; he was a beast that year.
  2. I think l like number 23 for Jefferson better imo but 21 is a good number.
  3. I just want Ozzie to sign one more defensive player and that is Zach Brown at LB then he could focus on the offensive side of the ball more.
  4. Hmm. I guess so. That would've been a pretty good deal for the Ravens and been cheaper but l'm happy with Carr.
  5. Yeah and that's why l why l want them to get Zach Brown so we wouldn't have to use the first pick on a LB. We could use that first round pick on Wr/Passrusher like a Mike Williams or a Derek Barnett instead. 👍
  6. If Mike Williams is there l'll take him but it's a long shot. I like Derek Barnett as well. Everyone is agreeing about Zack Brown. I hope Ozzie is giving him a call. Having Zach Brown along with Jefferson and the D-line is a dangerous defense. 3 years 20M will be probably enough to get him. I hear everyone talking about this Zach Brown guy. Yeah that would be great and all, but he's gonna be pretty expensive I'm sure (even though ILBs aren't highly paid). It wouldn't surprise me if he will get 5-6 million a year if not a little more. He has also had only one year of production really. I'm all for drafting Foster. We would get him on his rookie deal and we could sign CJ long term. Foster and CJ together in the middle of our defense with what is in front and behind them would be ferocious. Foster can do it all, and delivers the boom when he hits people. I don't know if I have ever seen a LB coming out of college deliver hits the way he does. He can cover, attacks the LOS, and plays fast. Foster is the only player I would want that doesn't play OL, WR, pass rusher, or CB. Foster is a great pick but we probably have to use a 1st round pick for him. Zack Brown is a guy that we could fill the void right now. But either way, it's fine. 👍

  8. Can't blame Joe for that Steelers game though he played well. The defense lost the game for us because of the secondary and that's why we upgrading it in free agency.
  9. That's exactly what l'm waiting for next for Ozzie to sign... Zach Brown.
  10. Didn't say that you need elite talent WRs to win. Where did you get that from? Just saying he's winning with average WRs... good not great. That's why l said Brady is a great QB and your last paragraph explains that.
  11. Lol... whatever you say bro, his receivers are good but not elite level that's why l said "decent mediocre" just like us. I might don't agree with your argument, but that's your opinion about Brady so l just leave it at that.
  12. Look, he may not be a superstar corner, but he's very durable (played 144 games in his career) and he doesn't get beat often. He played well against the top recievers in the NFL. Great veteran that is very"durable" and that's why l actually like him over Claiborne because he can't stay healthy. Carr is actually pretty big corner too, 6 ft 207 pounds. This doesn't change anything. We still gonna land a top corner in the draft in the 1st 3 rounds.
  13. Agreed, let's get CBs from the draft. This is a young man's game. Will do both. Adding a veteran Corner isn't nearly enough to address the position, and it wouldn't stop us from targeting one early in the draft either. Adding Claiborne does make a difference, It would push the need to pick a CB to later rounds. We also need more than 1 corner from this draft. Claiborne's possible signing would put these needs off to later rounds and would basically mean we are getting only one corner in the mid rounds. We need a corner out the first 2 rounds and another in the 3-4 round. Both salaries combined would still be less than what that fool is asking for. 2 players for less than the price of 1 who is merely a band-aid is the better choice. They would also be younger and more durable cause anyone is more durable than him. So yes Claiborne would prohibit us from drafting cbs where we should. All of this is moot, since we signed Carr instead of Claiborne. But regardless, the signing of either player doesn't even remotely push back the need for a Corner in the draft, and it certainly wouldn't prevent us from drafting one on day 1 or day 2. Can never have too many corners, and signing somebody like a Carr or Claiborne is going to be a mostly short-term deal with little guaranteed money, meaning he may only be on the team for a year or two. Carr's deal, as we see it now, is roughly a 2 year deal with a bunch of options. If you're using a draft pick on a corner, regardless of round, it could easily take that long to develop them into starter quality, and with 3 corners already on the roster, we're in a prime spot to take a stab at such a guy and let them play in nickel/dime coverages for the first year or two. There's very few FA signings that we have made or will make that will prevent us from using an early round pick on that position. The fact that we have Weddle and Jefferson doesn't even remotely mean that we wouldn't take a Safety in the first round or in day two. In fact, I think we very well may. Fans need to get off this notion that signing somebody in FA means we won't draft that position in the draft. We do it every year. It's not moot. The premise is the same. Yay!! we got a serviceable 30 yr old corner. We will now only draft one cb and watch us not select a corner in the first 2 rounds when the draft has a bunch of starters there. We will still draft a corner in the first 3 rounds. This signing ain't changing our draft boards.
  14. By looking at his videos, Tony Jefferson is very strong leader no question. Very good signing by Ozzie and the crew. We have 2 strong leaders at the backend.
  15. Yep. Ozzie is a good finding late gems at O-line such as Yanda and Wagner of examples. Wr/Passrusher 1st round, Corner/Passrusher 2nd round, Corner/O-line 3rd round, etc.
  16. Ok. Thanks for the info. 👍 I guess that Murray signing is out of the question now.
  17. Hmm... you right. Dixon is suspended 4 games. I don't know if we can keep 4 RB's, but it at least gives us some time to figure it out that situation. But l really don't know if we could get him and Brown. I will definitely choose Zach Brown over Murray because he a very very huge upgrade over Orr at tackles and better in coverage.
  18. This is interesting perspective, on one hand Adding Jefferson, Woodhead and Carr doesn't look like a very, high level FA so far. But adding them to retaining Williams, Wallace and Pitta makes the picture a whole lot clearer. Also Oz still has some cash, so I don't think they are completely finished. Coach said we need playmakers, Woodhead looks to be a solid playmaker and should outperform Juice. Jefferson probably has a few interceptions in his bag and hopefully a couple of QB sack/safety blitzes. Carr doesn't really impress me. As far as downgrading O-line, I dont really see it, Zuttah caused as much trouble as he provided. Wagner was stuck at RT and he was not at all the best that the Ravens can do. I say get Elflein at Center and the Ravens O-line has improved. We must remember that A Lewis will be back and strong the guy is a beast! There has been a loud call for Zack Brown, however he does not improve the pass rush situation. I call for a playmaking RB in FA. Latavius Murray is my pick but there are a few still out there. So I ask you if the Ravens added Murray and Brown does that make you feel a little better? Or are you more of the WR/OLB type of wishful thinker? I definitely would love Ozzie to sign Zach Brown and even Murray but l want Zach Brown the most. If they somehow get Murray than either Terrance West or Dixon will probably get cut but l think it's best to find a RB gem in the draft. At passrushing we could get Derek Barnett in the first who had 13 sacks last year at Tennessee could be a good pick at 16.
  19. It maybe 4 years but not necessarily 4 years. It depends.
  20. If they trade back, l will only consider 20th pick at best, no later. I don't want to see them trading all the way back to the end of the 1st round but it's a talent player is there for the taking then draft him at 16.
  21. I do wish Steve Smith wouldve played one more year because it would've given us time to look for his replacement in 2018. Defense gotta carried us in 2017.
  22. We just have to depend on the defense this year. Can't fill every hole. 2018 will be more of a complete team because we will focus on upgrading the offense. 2017 l just hope we could make the playoffs and see what happens.
  23. If we somehow can get Zach Brown, then l will go with either Passrusher/Wr like a Derek Barnett or a Mike Williams if he somehow slides.
