I have seen limited tape on the FSs this year. I know that a lot of mock drafts have them taking another pass catcher in the first pick, but with so much depth at WR in this draft I would love them to take a really solid OL guy and maybe grab one or two guys like SF did with Lattimore last year. Having Torrey, Jacoby, Marlon, Steve and Mellette plus Pitta... it would be nice to develop a guy for a year or two and then release a polished product

I guess there are definite plans to address FS in this draft. I really dont have a lot of faith in Clinton-Dix or Jimmie Ward. I think Calvin Pryor is the best option, but I dont know that another rookie as last line of defense is gonna be best situation on a thinning DB core.

True, but Clinton-Dix is regarded almost universally as the top prospect and I really don't know that he falls to 17. I have seen a few mock drafts with St. Louis and Chicago both taking FSs at 13 and 14. It really is a thin position this year, and the few that make the elite class are demanding too much money (like Byrd)

I almost wonder if it shouldn't be addressed in the draft? Clinton Dix, Calvin Pryor and Jimmie Ward seem very capable
