I'm not really a huge fan of Sanchez, I feel there are better corners still available in Rashad Robinson, Harlan Miller & Jalen Mills. I like Pharoh Cooper & Charone Peake for WR in the beginning of Day 3, but if we wait until later in the draft I think we could also target De'Runnya Willson. With LB, I think Dominique Alexander, another OU guy would be a nice addition, but Perry, Scooby Wright and Schobert would also be picks I would like. A guy I really want is G Vadal Alexander somewhere today. I am really hoping we can grab him because he would be a great late round addition. I'm just excited because of the amount of really talented guys still left.
When I watched DeRunnya Wilson at the combine, it seemed his hands were made of bricks. Good body type, but horrible hands. I'd rather we pick up a smaller/shiftier guy with solid hands.
Some names of interest to me are: Kenny Lawler, Rashard Higgins, Pharoh Cooper, Matt Ioannidis, Hassan Ridgeway, Sheldon Day,Zachary Sanchez, Rashard Matthews, Scooby Wright, Tyler Matakevich, Jordan Jenkins, Christian Westerman
Who do we go for on day 3 of the Draft? Let's start with the 4th round.

I agree with these 4 guys. And even though Jack's injury scares me, I would be pretty excited to land him in the second round too. I try to think...whose name was I most dreading to hear when the Steelers/Bengals were on the clock?
I know I'm getting too optimistic about the players who could fall to us in round 2. Who would you want the most? Spence? Jack? Others?
I'd be fine with Bosa as well. Jack was my favorite player 2 weeks ago, but now on the day of the draft his knee is scaring me a little. If they pick Jack, I will assume that our doctors strongly believe he will contribute for years and years to come. I haven't seen much talk of him recently, but I honestly wouldn't be upset with Hargreaves, even at 6 (although a trade back and getting him would be awesome). Yeah he is a little undersized, but his technique and work ethic are what we are looking for in a corner. Plus, he doesn't have any baggage. If Ramsey and Bosa are both gone, I'd be okay with Hargreaves.

My dream come true would be that the Ravens pick up McCourty...maybe with money saved from cutting Ngata and Gino, and restructuring/extending Webb and Koch? Too bad it would never happen though.
WR market is growing more than I thought, but Jacoby's contract is also more than I thought. Harvin would probably demand more, so I don't think we'd get him for right player--right price.
Sarcasm aside, I'm all for harvin coming in considering I'm not all that sold on any of our guys on the current roster filling the return position. Not worried about him being a locker room cancer - baltimore usually seems to bring out the best in players on and off the feild attitude. Just read that the colts will be releasing Reggie wayne as well. So many possibilities!
Not a big fan of Harvin. I feel like he's made of glass. He can surely be electrifying, but its more likely he gets a headache, tweaks something, or annoys his teammates. If we go the free agent route, I'd prefer Andre Johnson (if available) or Kenny Britt, or maybe Bowe.
Wow...I'm surprised the Saints had cap room for Byrd.
Plus, we have already been called the "jailbirds" this offseason, so we might as well keep bringing them in! ![]()
Anyways, if the price is right, the potential reward is decent, and the risk is low, why not? But I'd keep him on a short leash.
I think I'd take Monroe at 9 mil. At this point, we need stability at left tackle, and with all the other negative arrests news, we could just use some good news. He's better than Albert, and it would frankly be nice if we pay less than Miami to get Monroe. I'm a little surprised that Veldheer would be so much cheaper though...
Yet nothing on Monroe. That is very, very interesting that teams prefer other OTs over Monroe.
Of course it could all be a smoke screen in hopes that Monroe's asking price comes down (which would benefit us as well).
....
The O-line as it stands has one piece we can be relatively comfortable that will come back and be a player and that is Yanda. So with that said what do we do. We could go the FA route and I would personally like Velasco because he is cheap and effective and would be a great veteran stop gap.....
Although I also like the idea of Velasco, I don't think he will be cheap at all. I would much prefer we sign Monroe, even at 8.5 mil avg. He is young and could be our future staple as Yanda will start to age as well. We know what we are getting and how he fits in our offense. I would love having Mack at Center, but I think we could draft an improvement in the middle rounds of the draft (Swanson, Martin, Richburg).
Additionally with the regards to the draft, I think if OT Robinson, Matthews, or Lewan is available, we take them. If Lee, Ebron, or Evans is there, we also consider taking them. (If someone else surprisingly fell and is extraordinary value, we obviously take them.) Otherwise, we trade down to the 20s and hopefully acquire a pick(s) in the 2nd/3rd round.
Sigh...I'm shocked as well. It's just so hard to replace known left tackle talent.
Still feel like Smith is a candidate to hit the market, Im just worried we will be too focused on Eugene Monroe and Dennis Pitta that we may let him hit the market. And apparently there are 3 or 4 teams teams interested in him. He is coming off a bounce back year and could command a multi year deal. Honestly to me I think it would be better to go with Monroe, Smith, and Graham and let Pitta and Jones walk. I think Smith would be a great mentor for Arthur Brown in his first year starting.
I agree. Monroe, Smith, and Graham would keep the D pretty solid. Although I think Pitta is great and its convenient that he is BFF with Flacco, I think he would be easier to replace than Monroe and Smith. Of course it would be nice if we could keep them all, but I don't think that would ever happen.

Liked Rishard Robinson, but like Ken Dixon too! Have lots of RBs...which ones will make the team?
