  1. If I am not mistaken, Dirk went 25th and Malone went within the next few picks. Both great players. Too much board has been spent on discussing the 2. We are only 3 rounds deep
  2. Chill with the Dirk-Mailman talk. Let's move on in this discussion board.
  3. Malone-Dirk isn't a big discussion. Whoever you like more, you can make a case for. In an "all time draft," their really isn't a "wrong selection." It's all about building a team that fits what you have in mind. I understand discussing facts, but their is no right or wrong pick.
  4. Wanted a shooting guard here. Had a couple of others in mind, but Wade in his prime was hard to pass on. His leadership and will to win, combined with his overall game is what sold me. One of the best shooting guards of all time in my mind, and still has room to build on his legacy. He will complement Pippen and Olajuwon nicely.
  5. Stockton was on my short list. Nice value
  6. KD was on my watch list for my upcoming selections. Not too high on my board, but someone I thought about. Good pick.
  7. Baylor and The Admiral two rock solid picks
  8. I agree. I don't think he is the 15th best player of all time, I say he is in the 20-30 range. But, if we are building a team, their is no denying his overall game. Him alongside Hakeem is a pretty damn good duo in my opinion, and I don't believe Pippen would've been available at my next pick.
  9. Sorry for the delay, just got home from work. Took Olajuwon. All time leader in blocks, and arguably the greatest center of all time. Love all the selections made prior to mine.
  10. Is their a 15th round, or are we done after 14?
  11. Thank you. I really like your team.
  12. My bad on the delay guys. I found Allen to be good value here as well. Nothing wrong with snagging the all time 3 point champ this late. I bolster my SG's with Kobe, Gerald Green (can play SF), Courtney Lee, and now Ray Allen. Also, Darren Collison played the two at times on the Clippers, so he's capable as well. I added Aaron Brooks with my next pick just to bolster my PG's. Lillard will see a ton of minutes just because he's young and entering his prime, Collison is a more than capable backup, and Brooks will bring energy and serious quickness when given opportunities.
  13. Went with Snell and Blair to round out my 12 players. Snell is my third SG/SF, and believe he could learn a lot behind Kobe, Kawhi, Courtney Lee, and Gerald Green. I like his potential for the future. Blair is more of a bruiser, but I like his style of play. Makes up for his lack of height with playing with a ton of energy. He can come off the bench behind Dirk, David West, Splitter, and Dieng. Not a flashy pick, but I don't mind him being taken here.
  14. I agree. I almost think it wouldn't be fair to select a "top group" of teams, just because I believe their are many good teams in this mock.
  15. I forgot how good he was at Kentucky... 4.4 blocks and 2.1 steals per game
  16. It's cool to look at the big board and see where guys went. Example: Julius Randle round 4. Too high for him in my opinion. Another example: Nerlens Noel might be a steal in round 7. He's been looking good in Summer League.
  17. One individual doesn't make or break a team on this Mock Draft. Iguodala is a beast, plain in simple. He was on the USA Olympic team for a reason, and he bring many intangibles to the game of basketball...Honestly, we should look at the top 10 teams in this mock and rank them in "projected order." 16 out of 30 teams in the NBA make the playoffs, we should say the top 10 teams make the playoffs in here. Random suggestion.
  18. I was real close to taking Barnes with one of my two picks there. Good pick.
  19. Gorgui Dieng is a young center with high upside (in my opinion). He was kept on the bench a majority of last season, but when Pekovic and Turiaf got injured, Dieng stepped in and played well. He had some monster games, and from what I saw, he has a chance to be a legit starting center in the NBA in a year or two. He's already a solid rebounder and rim protector, and his offensive game has promise. He'll continue to get stronger and improve as he was just a rookie last year. I'm excited to see how he does this upcoming season, and I like him as a backup center.
  20. Sorry for the delay fellas. I like Lee's value here, as he can bring shooting and solid defense off the bench. I believe I have a versatile bench with Darren Collison, Courtney Lee, Gerald Green, and David West to compliment my starters (Lillard, Kobe, Leonard, Dirk, and Splitter).
  21. It's cool to see everyone's selections and their reasoning behind them. Even though we are not done yet, I have enjoyed this draft. Their are a lot of solid teams in here, and everyone knows what they are talking about. This is premature, but count me in for next year's draft.
  22. I like the Ross pick, but he kind of fell off in the playoffs against the Nets. I don't know if it was their defense, or the pressure of the moment, but his play was pretty weak. He's a solid player to come off the bench for you, and still young.
  23. Oh ok, that's good news to hear. You are more updated than I am haha.
  24. He tore his ACL last year and won't be ready for the start of the season. Targeting a January return he said. He is a solid starter, but this year is a question mark for him in my opinion.
