  1. I'm in for the full 15 rounds as well
  2. Needed a backup center to Hakeem. Camby's prime was in Denver. Averaged a double double there, with over 3 blocks per game in 4 of his seasons as a Nugget. Defensive player of the year in 06-07, All NBA Defensive Second Team 04-05, 05-06. All NBA Defensive First Team 06-07, 07-08.
  3. I agree. I said "arguably" because I'm with you: it is a tough call between who the best current PF is. I'm not sure if he is the best, but he's definitely up there. With Aldridge and Griffin off the board, I think Love was the best PF available who is currently playing in the NBA.
  4. Wanted another big man/stretch 4. Love is arguably the best PF in the game right now. Don't love his defense, but his offense will be a spark off the bench. My PF depth is pretty strong with McHale, Jerry Lucas, and Love.
  5. Just explaining my picks...
  6. Went with Manu here. Proven winner, loves the game of basketball, and is a great player for any team. Truly cares about team basketball. Doesn't care about stats either, and if he did, I'm sure his stats would be better than they are.
  7. I don't know much about Hal Greer, but supposedly he was real consistent basically every night. 7x All NBA Second team, 10x All Star, 1x All Star MVP and 1x NBA Champion. Supposedly he brought a solid, workman like approach every day, whether it was practice or a game. He put up real solid numbers throughout his career as well. I don't mind snagging a Hall of Famer this late.
  8. I think he could've been available another round, but who knows? Maybe not. I wasn't considering drafting Stoudemire, but then again I already have two power forwards. I actually have his #32 Phoenix Suns jersey back when Nike made NBA jerseys. This one to be exact.
  9. Need some scoring off the bench. Mullin fits the bill.
  10. All-Time NBA Draft. College years don't count haha
  11. So who's on the clock now?
  12. Sam Jones, Unseld, Kemp all players that I wanted. Nice picks
  13. PS: I've been doing this thru my phone my last few picks, and I can't upload images on here thru my phone. I will upload photos for my previous picks once I access my laptop.
  14. Went with Walt Frazier as my other point guard. 2 titles, 4 time all nba first team, 2 time all nba second team, 7 time all defense first team. Took down the great Lakers (West, Wilt, and Elgin Baylor) with a historic 39 points, 19 assists, and 5 steal performance in Game 7 of The Finals. At 6'4 200 lbs, he's a great complement to Cousy (6'1 175 lbs). Real solid career averages, great leader on the court, solid defender, rebounder, and scorer.
  15. Pretty stoked to get Cousy here. One of the first stars in the NBA, and revolutionized the "flashy" style of play. Great passer and playmaker, will fit my team real nice in my opinion. 6x champion, 10x all nba first team, 2x all nba second team, 13x all star and all star MVP twice. Not known for his defense, but with Wade, Pippen, McHale, and Olajuwon, I can sacrifice Cousy's defense for his ability to operate my offense. He led the league in assists per game 8 straight seasons, averaging 7.7 and that was before the shot clock era. People say he was an offensive master with his court vision, amazing passes, dribbling, and ability to score. I like his value here.
  16. Wade was already taken homie. I believe I'm on the clock. My pick will be in shortly.
  17. Nice pick in George Gervin. Was hoping he would fall to me as my sixth man
  18. Maybe when CP3 retires he will surpass Kidd, but at the present moment, Kidd > Paul.
  19. I think a combination of career and best stretch is a good way of looking at this. This is all fun and games, so I'm not going to judge it too extreme. When I select players, I definitely look at stats so I obviously include their best seasons (prime) as a factor.
  20. "You might win a ton of games with this team based on the tenacity, defense and rebounding. It's like early 21st C. Detroit Pistons, except with megastars. Hard to score, not exciting for a casual fan, but wins will come regardless. I'd love to see what would happen if my team faced yours since we have basically gone in exactly opposite directions thus far." Thanks. Was considering Pettit over McHale. I like my teams balance thru 4 rounds, still have a lot of the draft left which gives me flexibility. Playing your team would be interesting for sure. Might put Pippen on Magic, McHale on Dr J, Wade on AI, and Hakeem on Pettit.
  21. Went with McHale here, as I wanted a power forward. McHale scored the ball with tremendous efficiency, as some say he's the best offensive post player of all time. He was also stout on defense, 3x all defense 1st team and 3x all defense 2nd team. Some knock his rebounding numbers, but Parish and Bird were both great rebounders. With McHale and Olajuwon, I have a very crafty front court, and still very solid defensively.
  22. If EdReed is on autoskip, I am on the clock. My pick will be in shortly. Wanted Kidd here, so I have some thinking to do.
  23. We are back on EdReed's selection, correct?
  24. PS: how about them Orioles?! Resilient ball club. Even when Davis is struggling, we need to keep him in the lineup for opportunities like tonight. 29 games left . Let's win the AL East
  25. Thanks Truth. Was waiting on some feedback from the wade selection/my team. Any feedback is acceptable to me
