Puzzling to me how they will let a player who has consistently played well and is hardly injured like B Williams walk and keep a brittle and inconsistent player like Webby around and pay him top dollar. I'm no GM but something has to change in the philosophy of who to keep and who to let walk.

agreed. We need to change our thinking in which we let our guys that produce walk and keep those that don't. Resigning wright was a mistake and could have used that money else where.

Like the rest of you guys, I would much rather have elam back there after the by then webb. Put Weddle at the FS and let Elam stay near the line of scrimmage. Also lets see what Huff can do a little bit and just shake things up overall. Wouldn't even be in this mess if they would have just kept Brooks in the first place smdh. If your going to watch tape for 2 hours you better make some changes and avoid making the same mistakes week after week by playing Webb is by far the weakest link. I would much rather see a combination of Smith, Davis, Young (slot) and Weddle, Elam after the bye week, along with Levine coming in on the Dime package.

I remember Harbs on draft day talking about OZ and Decosta's draft process like Star Trek.

I thought to myself when you have the 6th overall draft pick and 11 picks in total, its not Star trek, its best player available.

What did they do:

Wait until the 4th round to get a CB and completely ignore the safety position when their secondary was a mess

Spent another 2nd round draft pick on an ILB that can barely get on the field

Double down on big slow DTs in a passing league

Then after draft bring in guys over 30 and wonder why the team lack playmakers.

I'm with you on this post. Who uses 20 picks in the draft instead of trading up and gettinget quality of quantity! Then we sign useless fa outside of Wallace, weddle and Smith. On top.of that hold on to players not living up to their contracts (webb) and not getting rid of them. And let's not forget releasing players that we should have kept, butler, Brooks, Simon. Ozzie and harbs, are really taking a step back

Who would you be interesting in trading for and what would you be willing to trade. I mean bringing in one good player isn't going to make this team that much more competitive at this point. if we could trade for a cb or safety better than what we already have aside from jimmy and eric for a 2nd or 3rd i would do it in a heartbeat because the front office has blown those picks in recent years

I wholeheartedly agree. I have the feeling that KC will turn out to be one of those blown picks smh. You simply don't draft a supposed pass rusher in the second round because he has a "good motor". You make that selection in the 4th or later. but releasing brooks is really haunting us right now. The possibility of Jack and Spence being drafted 1&2 then trading back into second for a dB could happen by trading a 3rd and 4th I believe depending on where in the second rd. And scooby wright is more soap thumper rather than the type of lb were looking for.

Doesn't matter about the big play ability if your not getting open to receive the ball. Shepard runs great routes and is able to create separation. He mostly played slot but he can also line up outside. Whoever they draft at WR just make sure they can create space to be a legit target plus you know the hands to catch reliably. Ravens trade back in first round for an additonaly 2nd round pick, take Noah Spence first round. 2nd round Sterling Shepard & Bronson Kaufusi. I'm thinking Ramsey is taken before they are on the board int he first.

That wouldn't be a bad draft at all. He'll trade back up in second in get a dB and we're set. All depends on how FA goes though. But those players along with Ramsey, vh3, and darian Thompson

Definitely can see us drafting Olb or cb first two rounds with our DL of williams, Jernigan, guy, urban, lewis, and kapron-lewis

January J, yes but not in the sense that their implying as an every down pass rusher. Plus just cause he can blitz doesn't mean he is effective using pass rushing moves

Jaylon Smith is an ILB, so kiper's statement makes no sense when talking about pass rusher

Ajf3030, moving Webb to fs wouldn't be a bad move if they use him in a role like tyrann Mathieu. I think he might actually excell in that role

One way to ease everyone's mind is try and sure up a position of need through FA if possible. And not get one of these washed up bums, so sicky of that. And please for the love of ravens football bring back Pagano!

Its pretty simple, all of the games lost have come from not being able to hold on to 4th quarter leads or prevent top players and non top players alike from having big games. It falls on our D coordinator not putting together the right scheme or placing our players in the best position for success. He has to go period.

Here's an idea, how bout you activate a guy you just picked up to provide a pass rush! I dont think it would be that hard to send in a guy on third down and tell him to go get the qb smdh. Whats there to learn seriously, I'm a firm believer that Pees needs to go at the end of the season. Its almost to the point where as a fan you hope that we dont make the playoffs cause if we do, they keep him smh. But go ravens either way

After watching this game I fully expect ozzie to look forward o line and especially d line help. I have no idea what they saw in Walker to draft him in the 4th round smh

Everyone is forgetting about A.Robinson. Speedy slot wr with the same abilities as the other two. So its really a battle between those 3 for slot and return duites

@gekaap, we're moving Elam to strong safety so Dix would have been the better pick. Other than OL, safety was our biggest need.

A wasted pick last year in my opinion, I mean what was the point of drafting brown. definitely needed a safety not a ILB. I agree with dead serious whole heartedly. Better pray Ward is available in the second. Just smdh with this one
