I don't see a Dallas loss either, the love affair the analysts have with Dallas and New England has got to stop! Now I'm going to watch these games with a chip on my shoulder. Side note: TB signed Cecil Shorts yesterday, Butler still sitting on their PS. Maybe he's not ready for the 53 man roster?
We get everyone back and playing the way we know they can, everything will be just fine. Can't get too high for a 2-0 record in pre-season or too down on a defense that's not in mid-season form yet. The secondary is still figuring it out with two new safeties and the front 7's been playing without it's two best difference makers. Can't wait for the regular season, Go RAVENS!
Do away with the joke of game that the Pro-Bowl has become. Make it a skills competition like the old Battle of Superstars/Superteams. Fastest man in the NFL (like when Darrell Green did it), O-line tug of war, QB skills, Obstacle course, soccer shoot out, swimming race (remember Joe Frazier nearly drowning cuz he didn't know how to swim but still wanted to compete...lol), dance contest (go BWill!), golf, dunk contest, etc, etc.
Seriously, the NFL could make it a 3-night event - drive up ratings and what about the revenue, oh, the revenue. Who wouldn't want to watch Joe Flacco vs Brady vs Rodgers vs Cam in a QB competition. Or watch Sammy Watkins vs Patrick Peterson in a 50 yard dash. Yanda & the AFC O-line vs the NFC O-line in a tug of war. Tucker in a trick shot kicking competition. The list is endless...
C'mon NFL, you make $ 9 billion in profits and you can't come up with a program more entertaining than Lip Sync Battle?Always thought the same, events like that would have me watching. Flacco with the long ball, perriman's speed, Tucker being Tucker ?
Hell, Add in a talent and trivia portion. With tickets opera singing and urschel's brains... it'd be very entertaining
The Ravens won't be participating, they will be getting ready for the SB that week,
Great draft except for all the know it all crybabies on this site who have no life.
It was just plain bizzarre to see that the place where the Ravens got the most hatred and heat during the draft was not a fottball fan bar in downtown Pittsburgh - but the forum of the Baltimore Ravens website... Guys whose user name I've never ever seen here came crawling out of the woodwork and held a hate party rarely seen...
Not all of us post everyday, but we are on the site everyday catching up on the daily news. Like many I was more shocked by who was not taken, more than who was. Their are a few regular poster on here whose hate party never ends, hard to believe they are Raven fans at all.
Not often, but I still believe we move back. Deep defensive draft, this is a opportunity for the Ravens to add playmakers to the roster. Last year showed our lack of depth.
But we need a top offensive lineman or a really good pass rusher.
Not disagreeing, I think we need both. That is why I think we move back.
I still don't believe we move back. How often do we get this chance?

I would agree with that 100%. Just hope that if they are there, we are not tempted by a "great" deal and trade out. 2 of those 3 will probably be there. imo
All relative to how great the deal is. If we are in love with Tunsil, and Tennessee wants him, maybe we ask for more than just a 2nd rounder. What if its the first rounder they acquired next year? Do that deal then?
Maybe its both 2nd rounders this year? Maybe its a 2nd this year and a 2nd next year?
We can be as greedy as we want in that spot, but there's a lot of combination of deals that long term would likely yield us a great quantity of better players.
If they really love him and he's #1 on their draft board, they will pay more. If they have Tunsil and Stanley as 1A & 1B, it will be a short conversation with Ozzy and on to Cleveland to try working a deal. It comes down to who they want and how much.

Hardly, they make that trade who plays LT? Monroe? The OL needs upgrading as it is, without Stanley the line needs a LT, RT and upgrade at C. Without Stanley who knows if Joe would have made it through the season unhurt. Do the Ravens win more games making that trade?
