  1. I appreciate the condescending tone of your post my friend. There's clearly no point in having this discussion if you truly think Dilferer was elite.
  2. So we're comparing Edelman to what SSR and Boldin did as a Raven? If so, I think you'll be really surprised at how similar the production between SSR and Edelman is. SSR - 125 catches, 1,735 yards, 9 td's Edelman - 153 catches, 1,664 yards, 11 td's Even Boldin as a Raven put up very similar numbers to Edelman now (Boldin's 3 years here vs Edelman's past 3 seasons) 186 catches, 2,645 yards, 14 td's 258 catches, 2,720 yards, 17 td's
  3. So winning a Super Bowl makes a QB elite? So you thought Trent Dilfer was elite?
  4. Yeah it's crazy. It's the typical build someone up so it's make it look like Joe has never had weapons. Edelman is a product of the system. The guy has had 3 good years. And only cracked 1,000 yards once. He's not even close to being in the same league as SSR, Boldin, and even Mason.
  5. The blind homers. You know the ones that blame all of Joe's mistakes on someone else.
  6. Exactly. He's not elite and never will be. He's an Eli Manning clone. And there's nothing wrong with that.
  7. Hopefully he has matured. Immaturity was the knock on him at Towson, and it obviously carried over into the NFL (3 teams in 2 years). He also needs to stay away from his questionable "friends". One of his close friends was killed last year. He was one of the most violent drug offenders in West Baltimore. It's a low risk high reward move. He has the talent to play in the NFL.
  8. It was obviously Steve Smith's fault lol
  9. That's our QB. What a bum!
  10. He will next season when Harbaugh brings him back
  11. Harbaugh needs to start feeling some heat. This team has be unprepared for every game this season. It's inexcusable at this point. I'm almost hoping he goes to USC
  12. Well look who it is. The former mod on RSR that had a meltdown. How's your boy Boller doing?
  13. Whatever dude. A ball thrown behind a WR is on the QB
  14. Give me a break. Stop worshiping Flacco
  15. No he shouldn't have. The 1st on was a bad throw.
  16. That first one was all on Flacco. He threw behind SSR.
  17. The 1st one was a bad pass by Flacco. He threw it behind SSR. But the Flacco apologists always look for someone else to blame. The 2nd on was tough, but I think SSR should have had it
  18. Good: - Will Davis made plays all over the field. Really impressed with him. - Forsett is back. He looked great Bad: - Injuries. Campanaro is a lost cause. The guy just doesn't have the body to hold up in the NFL. Hopefully SSR is back next week. - Fake FG. You have to take the points on the road. It was a very desperate call that didn't work out. Ugly: - Flacco. He had a few nice throws, but overall it was an awful game for him. The boneheaded mistakes need to stop. Overall I still don't feel good about this team. We barely beat a team led by Mike Vick. Scobee and Tomlin basically handed us the game. If Ben was playing we'd be 0-4 right now.
  19. And Lewis makes that tackle if he isn't held
  20. Brian Billick ‏@CoachBillick 5m 5 minutes ago Flacco's pick was bad already but to make matters worse he probably had Aiken down the sidelines for a TD had he made the right read.
  21. What Joe did in a college football challenge (I'm assuming that's what you're taking about) has nothing to do with deep ball accuracy in an actual NFL game. Joe isn't the problem, but he's part of the problem. Everyone on this team deserves blame for this awful start. Joe has missed easy throws, just like Jimmy has been burnt, and SSR has dropped passes. I like your optimism (I honestly do) but we have no shot at the playoffs. 0-3 against AFC teams, and we're in the toughest division in football. I just don't see it.
  22. He has a top 3 arm, there's no questioning that. But throwing a ball far doesn't mean you throw a good deep ball. His deep ball is inconsistent.
  23. I agree. His mechanics are the worst I've seen during his career. He's constantly throwing off his back foot, and missing easy throws because of it. The 3rd down pass at SSR's feet is a perfect example. That's an easy completion for a 1st down that he has to make. Now I know people will blame the OL, but outside of the Denver game he hasn't been sacked. In fact the Ravens OL for as bad as they have been at times, have only given up the 2nd fewest sacks, and the 6th fewest QB hits (13).
  24. Um I understand that. Chykie started that game because Webb was out. So like I said he was all we had at that point. It's unrealistic to expect a CB to shadow the #1 WR the entire game. That just doesn't happen anymore.
  25. Chykie was a CB with sub 4.4 speed. It was stupid because Chykie sucked, but he's all we had at that point.
