  1. I don't see anyone overreacting. We're going to face some sort of punishment. That's 100% fact. Knowingly breaking a rule (if what Schefter says is true) is not just a coaching staff screw up. It's obviously not on the bounty or deflate gate level, but it is a violation. The Ravens are going to catch heat on this because of how vocal Harbaugh has been about rules.
  2. And now Adam Schefter is reporting that the NFL doesn't believe that the Ravens were unaware of the rule. This isn't just going to go away. We're facing some type of punishment from the NFL. I doubt it's a draft picks, but this all could have been avoided. Harbaugh looks really bad here with all the complaining he has done about rules in the past.
  3. No Raven has worn #19 since 2001. (Scott Mitchell wore it after getting permission from Unitas) I personally think the Ravens have done more than enough to honor the Baltimore Colts and wouldn't have an issue with a Raven wearing 19 again. But I also understand why the old timers would be upset.
  4. The Ravens broke practice rules in 2010 and lost a full weekend of OTA's. Not a big deal for the veterans, but that's valuable practice time for the rookies. I refuse to believe that Harbaugh wasn't aware of these rules. Just not a good look on his part, but also not a huge deal.
  5. You do realize my screen name is a joke about Grbac right?
  6. Sounds an awful lot like Joe Flacco.
  7. Harbaugh just put himself on the hot seat by keeping Pees. This team better perform next season or they both could be looking for new jobs in 2017.
  8. Yeah it was a loaded question. I don't have any issue with his response. I highly doubt Mallett meant anything by it.
  9. Joe's typical games against the Bengals are not very good. If we're talking about just this season the Mallett outplayed Joe against the Steelers.
  10. Statistically he didn't light it up, but for only being here for 12 days he played very well against Pittsburgh. Today he definitely struggled.
  11. Not salty at all. I thought it was a dumb question to ask Mallett, but I do agree it is a little funny that he played just like him against Cincy. I just thought it was funny how some fans got all upset over his comments that's all.
  12. He played about as well as Joe has against the Bengals. I can't believe how much fans overreacted to his comment. I guess they thought he was taking a shot at the golden boy.
  13. LOL where has anyone even suggested that he's the best Ravens QB of all time? People are pointing out that Mallett had a good games, that's all. For some reason a certain section of the fanbase is having a hard time with that.
  14. That's exactly what that means. Was every throw perfect? Of course not, but they were accurate enough. Joe has iffy accuracy. I bet you never bring that up though.
  15. He knows that his NFL career is over if he doesn't.
  16. Erratic? The guy completed 68.3% of his passes. Again he's been here for 12 days. Why would the Ravens trade him? Joe suffered a serious knee injury. We don't know if he'll be ready at the start of next season. Mallett wants to be a starter, but he knows that this is the last straw. He's going to do whatever is asked of him.
  17. And Mallett has been here for 12 days.
  18. He played better than Joe against the Steelers this season. Flacco - 20-33, 60.6 completion %, 189 yards, 1 TD, 1 INT 73.9 rating Mallett - 28-41, 68.3 completion %, 274 yards, 1 TD, 0 INT, 95.0 rating
  19. Why would they trade him? His cap hit next season is $1.5M. That's a steal for a QB.
  20. I understand his point, but in the end the result is the same. That's all Im saying.
  21. We lost games, but we actually did well? What is this pee wee football? Are the Ravens getting participation trophies at the end of the season? I don't care how well we did in loses. The fact is they go in the L column like every loss. We're just going to have to agree to disagree. it's obvious that we're not changing each others mind. Going back and forth is just a waste of our time. Hopefully we can get through the rest of this season with no more major injuries, and retool for next season.
  22. No it implies that this TEAM hasn't been good all season. To even suggest that I'm implying that a Joe-led offense is as bad as the one with Schaub or Clausen is foolish. Even the biggest Flacco basher wouldn't say that.
  23. Again I never said anything about evaluating players based on wins and loses. I have no idea where you're getting that from. I specifically said i was talking about the team as a whole. Ok a team that competes in every game is better, but the end result is still a loss. This isn't like kids sports where you get a participation trophy for almost winning.
  24. So then why even bring up Joe Thomas? A closer loss says that the team wasn't good enough to pull out the win. In the end is still goes into the L column regardless of how it happens.
  25. I have no issue with the signing. If Mallet screws up he's gone. He has the physical tools to play at the NFL level. His immaturity is the only thing holding him back. He's a better QB than Clausen, Renner, and Schaub
