  1. Is that one Perriman's fault too?
  2. I'm sure the injury affected him against the Giants, but we have to remember that Joe really hasn't looked good all season. He's been missing some really easy throws. Irritation in the joint of his throwing shoulder is concerning. It could just be a minor thing, or it could be a little more serious like an AC sprain.
  3. Tony Lombardi said he's hearing it's a torn biceps. No word on if it's season ending.
  4. Yeah he got open well after the ball was thrown You wanna see a missed wide open WR just look at the throw to Wallace a few plays before
  5. They need to blow the entire team. We suck from top to bottom. Joe please give back some of that money you're making. You were awful. Especially on that final drive where you missed a wide open Wallace
  6. Because he spelled a name wrong? Come on man it's not that big of a deal. He made a mistake and it was corrected.
  7. Yeah that's going a little too far. Joe might not show it, but all he wants to do is win. Go look at Cutler is you want to see a guy that doesn't want to win bad enough.
  8. 1. Plenty of people care about statistics. They obviously don't tell the whole story, but to act like they mean absolutely nothing is just wrong. 2. Stafford's 23 turnovers in 2013 is one less than Flacco that year. Flacco made $30M that season ($1M base salary, $29M signing bonus). We can go back and compare stats all we want. At this point right now I feel like Stafford is the better QB. I'm not ignoring the Lions record during Stafford's tenure. I know it's not as good as Flacco's here, but you also need to look at it in context. The Ravens organization is much better than the Lions organization. The Lions had so many high draft picks that have failed/are no longer on the team. With a competent front office the Lions would have been much better IMO. 3. I was referring to this season when I said he has no weapons. Golden Tate has a whopping 17 catches for 134 yards. Even last season he wasn't anything special (90 catches 813 yards, 6 td's). It's a nice piece, but I wouldn't say he's been a legit stud weapon recently. I will agree though that what he did in 2014 was impressive. 4. I'll give you Torrey even though he was just an average WR here. Side note: it's a shame he chose to chase the money. Completely understandable, but his career has fallen off a cliff. 5. Obviously 1 player isn't going to technically carry a team, but 1 player can have a huge part in how well a team does. Like Brees when the Saints were good. They were good because Brees lead that offense. We're clearly not going to agree, but I appreciate the civil discussion.
  9. I'm assuming you haven't watched Stafford much? 68%, 1,378 yards, 7.6 avg, 10 td's 4 int's, 99.6 QB rating this season. All that with no running game and Marvin Jones as his only weapon on offense. We can even look at last season: 67.2%, 4,262 yards, 7.2 avg, 34 td's 13 int's, 97 QB rating. Numbers that Joe has never come close to putting up. Joe hasn't led us to the playoffs in soon to be 3 of the last 4 years. He has a 26-27 record since becoming the highest paid player (at the time). With his contract Joe should be carrying this team and elevating the players around him. He's not doing that.
  10. Anyone else notice on the fake FG that Tucker lined up to kick with his left foot? They gave away the fake before the ball was even snapped.
  11. I'm factoring in contracts. Give me Dalton at $13M over Flacco at $22M any day of the week.
  12. Rodgers Brady Ben Newton Wilson Brees Rivers Carr Luck Stafford Ryan Dalton Manning
  13. Harbaugh has a record of 26-27 since 2012. That combined with his boneheaded decisions puts him on the the hot seat IMO.
  14. The safety came on a blitz (may have been a LB I can't really see his number), but Joe had already thrown the ball by the time the S/LB got there. He was locked onto Aiken the entire time. He's clearly lacking confidence in his knee and this offense right now. His footwork has been awful the past 2 games. Yes the O-line is party to blame due to their lack of protection, but there are times where gets enough protection and just misses easy throws. We need to take some deep shots Sunday against the Redskins. Hitting on 1 or 2 could really help Joe's confidence.
  15. I agree that Aiken should have caught that ball. It's obviously a tough catch, but it needs to be made. My issue with that play (and the announcer even pointed it out) SSR is 1 on 1 on the outside and Joe never looked his way. He pre-determined where he was going with the ball. Give me SSR in 1 on 1 over Aiken in triple coverage everyday.
  16. I just don't see it. There are so many talented TE's in the NFL these days. Maxx isn't even close to the top 3 IMO. He might not even be the most talented TE on our roster.
  17. Top 3 talent in the NFL?
  18. No Harbaugh did not "find a way to try and get the most out of a situation". He blatantly broke a rule. There was no example made of the Ravens. They broke a rule and paid the price. I agree. But the Ravens never do anything wrong in some fans eyes.
  19. So Adam Schefter just made it up? Come on man. What would he gain from that? Ravens knew pad rules
  20. Has not been a concern at all? I guess the NFL is just investigating it for fun. I guess rookies likely missing practice days doesn't affect football either. As I've said before, in the grand scheme of things what happened is not a huge deal. But you can't just sweep it under the rug. Not with the way the NFL has been looking lately. Basically what you're saying is go ahead and do whatever you want as long as it doesn't affect football.
  21. The biggest concern all along has been that Harbaugh intentionally broke a rule.
  22. It's not about the 5 minutes in pads. People would absolutely care that Tomlin intentionally broke a rule. To act like people wouldn't is downright foolish. Just like Patriots and Steelers fan care that Harbaugh intentionally broke a rule.
  23. You definitely misunderstood my catching heat comment. I'm not really sure how. Maybe I could have worded it better. I was just saying that's it added ammo for those that aren't Ravens fans. Remember Brady telling Harbaugh to "read the rule book"? And then Harbaugh goes and breaks a rule. So people are going to be taking shots at the Ravens/Harbaugh. Not that it matters at all. I'm implying that it was done intentionally based on what Adam Schefter had reported. Which was the NFL believes that the Ravens were aware of the non-contact practice rules, but still moved forward with the practice. That's why I don't view it as just a simple coaching staff mistake. Again IF what Schefter is reporting is true (I don't really see a reason why he would lie).
  24. How do I sound paranoid? Because I don't view knowingly breaking a rule as a simple coaching staff screw up? Also by catching heat I'm talking about from opposing fans. It has nothing to do with a conspiracy. It's not like the NFL is going to intensify the punishment because Harbaugh has been vocal about the rules. It's funny to me to see people brush this off, but you know damn well if it was Mike Tomlin everyone would be up in arms. Take the purple glasses off folks.
  25. How is pointing out that we're going to get some sort of punishment "overreacting"? knowingly breaking a rule is not a simple coaching mistake. A simple coaching mistake would be unknowingly breaking a rule.
