I'll be real honest, he's off my board. LOVED the player but his path reminds me too much to Rolando McClain.
Bad circle around him. Love the party scene and seems like a liar to me. "I was sick I drank too much". or This will enver happen again bullcrap
I'll just say what Ray once said : Show me your friends and I'll show you your future. and right now Foster is like McClain or T. Richardson. His head isn't 100% in the game

Even though the above shows that we met with every 1st rounder, you still see guys like Elam are combine interviews and such a low percentage of those meetings are actually reported.
I actually think it's easier to look into the late round guys that have private visits, especially at positions in which we have a coach that typically has a developmental pet project.
You're right about that. And this year some that flashed for me are Malik Golden and that young corner form Miami Corn Elder. Both seems like typicalRavens pick. Golden is a Special Teams Ace in the NFL in my mind and could earn a way playing the Dime and Elder would be the Tavon Young type of pick. I'm not as high on Elder as I was on Young in term of ball skills but both players are fierce and undersized sure tacklers.
I don't get the hate on Barnett here. Have you guys seen him bend around the edge ? His hands skills at this point are VERY good for a very YOUNG age player. Add some training from NFL coaches he'll be great. Yeah he's not the most athletic freak but I mean this guy is very cerebral on the field as well.... he's not getting faked like hell or he doenst seem lost on any play. He understands the game.
In my mind he's a top 10-15 pick so when I see some fans here not wanting him at 16 I'm like come on.
Best realistic case scenario at 16 :
-Barnett
-Corey Davis
-Forrest Lamp. I know once again some of ya'll don,t like O-Line but this guy reminds me a bit of Yanda in term of tecnique. He plays such a sound game. Not a flashy pick I know but he would anchor the Right side for years to come. What is the new trend in the NFL ? Pass rushers on the left side playing versus RT that can't block. Von Miller, Mack, Watt, J. Houston. Thats why the Lions gave that much money to Wagner. And I'll be real honest with you, I'm a defense guy with a defensive mindset. But can't get over the facts that the Ravens need a playmaker WR and they need to add either a Guard or RT depending on where Lewis plays next year.

I don't see him as an inside guy, I may have said the same about correa but they are very different, correa doesn't have much bend to his game and doesn't know how to approach an OT, reddick does. I think he's more of a 43 guy but in a limited role as an edge rusher in obvious pass situations he looks a lot more ready than correa looked coming out
Yeah I feel the same, I see Reddick as a 4-3/Nickle type of role. Blitzing LB, can cover lots of ground. I like the player. I don't think he's a top 15 but could go as high as low first top 2nd. Its hard to find a comp for him.. maybe a mix of Jamie Collins/Lawrence Timmons/Lavonte David
Fournette with a good OL and a good ankle was phenomenal. I believe this season wasn't the real Fournette and he was still quite good. He's a very good runner I want him ahead of Cook thats for sure. Cook is so fast on tape but gotta be clean off the field imo.
Sorry guys I haven't read the whole thread but what are your thoughts on Foreman ? A friend of mine is trying to sell me that player big time in the 2nd, 3rd round. He LOVES him a lot. Heard Foreman lost 10 pounds and working on his catching skills. I see the potential, Bettis/Jamal Lewis type of player. What about his lateral agility ?
At the end of the day I'm really not high on drafting RBs in the early rounds. Unless they are like Zeke where we all knew he was a top 10 pick.
At the end of the day, I'm really not sure who I'd take between Humphrey and Jones. The Ravens are playing more Cover 2 than before, your CBs gotta be able to tackle I agree... but Humphrey worries me a lot on the deep ball. Reminds me of Jimmy Smith pre superbowl area. Maybe its a lack of knowladge of the game/routes concepts. Gotta play better when trailing his man.
Jones is a gamble but could turn out big. You can't play Cover 2 on every play. Gotta be able to play some Cover 1, Cover 0 and thats the problem I see with Humphrey. Sabban is pretty good at limiting his players weaknesses. Kinda easy with that defensive front thought. I don't see Humphrey covering a guy past 4-5 secs. I'm not the biggest fan yet. Would need some people to convince me on that one
Barnett might be the best thing for the Ravens if they switch to a 4-3 Under. They used more and more that scheme as the year went on last season. Lets be honest they are a Nickle Base Defense but when playing a 2 Wide formations they mostly played 4-3 Under from half the season to end of the season. Barnett has all the skills and tools to be D-End in that scheme and a player like Correa would really benefit from playing behind a guy like Barnett.
Let's face it Correa can't take on NFL Tackles. He needs to play vs TE and RBs. Thats why 4-3 SAM is more fit than typical 3-4. Brandon Williams (or Pierce) is your 1 tech... Jernigan the typical 3-tech. Kaufusi and Barnett could play Ends. All they need is a Will or Nickle Backer. Thats why I was so high last season on Cravens, Jatavius Brown and Deion Jones.

Yeah I know that all I'm saying is those are my 4 favorite prospects the Ravens could really use. Hooker could be a range ball hawking safety ala Reed. What the Ravens lacked. He's got some fundamentals to work on and he would probably need a year to learn the playbook I agree but the skills are there.
What are your thoughts on Jourdan Lewis ? The more I watch him the least I like him. I really liked him at first but looks to me he's not playing some fundamentals and solid technique he's relying on athleticism too much. He's playing behind his WR all the time and following him but in the NFL he'll get roasted or bite on better route runner.
I'll need to watch more but there's something off with him as far as I'm concerned
If one of these are 4 available at 16th, its a no brainer :
Hooker
Adams
Garrett
Allen
I need to study more the CBs play but right now those are my 4 favorite prospects. I really like Tim Williams as well but he could be a reach at 16th.
I really like Williams on tape. Explosive first step. He's a 10+ sacks potential player imo. Pass rush specialist at this point... 2017 isn't my favorite draft but Williams is one of the few player I like on tape.
With what we've seen so far from Kupp at the Senior Bowl... if he tests well at the combine he's a 1st rounder imo. I need more studying but looks real good out there.
8 hours ago, rmw10 said:Agreed on both accounts. They aren't locks to stay by any means, but I'm not sure I see either of them as a logical cut candidate at this point, Webb especially. The salary for Webb is expensive, but he's been an absolutely huge part of our defensive success. He had a few rough games early but has really started to find his place covering the deep part of the field. It looked like he lacked speed early on, but something happened and that speed looks to be back. He's got strong instincts back there.
and everytime something happens to one of the CB, Webb plays the slot CB... Thats very underated role for a FS to play efficient man to man. He's been a sure tackler lately and been playing the deep 2 very well. I wasnt sold on him early but he made his case recently.
I can't believe how Kikko Alonso got so many picks in his rookie season IIRC... man he's bad in coverage.
He's got the athletic traits, he's got the worth ethics, motor and awareness. He just needs to develop his hands, technique. He's not a 3-4 type of guy at all but like I said most preseason, the Ravens have the personnel to run a 4-3 Under and he would be quiet well in that schemes with Kaufusi playing End so KC would only face TEs and not Guards, Tackles.
Right now he comes from a college who's known to play players a bit awkwardly and not developing them for the NFL. When you watch some KCs tapes, I mean he rush the passer with speed and motor but not with hands like a Bosa for exemple. KC when facing better technically sound blockers he's just stuck there. He reminds me a bit of Timmons from the Steelers I know thats a strange comparaison but I think he could be a very good SAM 4-3 like Boulware was for the Ravens. Blitzing him on every downs from the outside when facing an NFL Tackle is just not gonna do it in the NFL for him. They have to use disguise blitz, crossing A gaps blitz. Blitz him behind controlling gap D-Line 5 tech. His first step his agressive and I believe if he blitz and is pick up blitzing from a RB, he'll win more than lose in the future. But right now he needs to work on his strenght and hands technique.
Just my thoughts.. thats what I've been saying all preseason anyway I just don't know why some people thought he would come in the NFL from Boise State and get 12 sacks... gotta be realistic. The thing when you sit and talk with KC, look at the fire in his eyes. He's a football player and he wants to play football and do anything in his power to succeed and thats a big difference from A. Brown so y'all can stop the comparaisons. A. Brown seemed uninterested.
If Jimmy can't play, the Ravens will need a big game from Tavon. He's been playing lights out so far this year a very solid 4th round pick
Good : 2nd half adjustments on offense : crossing patterns with speedy guys.
bad : 1st half offense
ulgy : fan reactions. just be patient its not the end of the world when only the 1st quarter is done.
The ball bobbled but did it hit the ground I'm not sure
Just now, LosT_in_TranSlatioN said:Cause Browns gonna Brown.
Looks like he aggravated his injury he was a little banged up coming into the gae
At least Zuttah is back in the game so we won,t see Hurst at LG anymore
Sizzle is really good even with 1 arm
GREAT NEWS on Lewis
With Jensen inactive... who will play LG ? Urschel shift to center. DOes that mean Hurst at LG ? That will be ugly

You don't have piss too clear by mistake. I already took some pee tests and if its too clear right away they'll ask another one. You need maybe to drink something to hide other things. I'll just leave it at that but I have pretty good idea of what went down there
