He's got the athletic traits, he's got the worth ethics, motor and awareness. He just needs to develop his hands, technique. He's not a 3-4 type of guy at all but like I said most preseason, the Ravens have the personnel to run a 4-3 Under and he would be quiet well in that schemes with Kaufusi playing End so KC would only face TEs and not Guards, Tackles.
Right now he comes from a college who's known to play players a bit awkwardly and not developing them for the NFL. When you watch some KCs tapes, I mean he rush the passer with speed and motor but not with hands like a Bosa for exemple. KC when facing better technically sound blockers he's just stuck there. He reminds me a bit of Timmons from the Steelers I know thats a strange comparaison but I think he could be a very good SAM 4-3 like Boulware was for the Ravens. Blitzing him on every downs from the outside when facing an NFL Tackle is just not gonna do it in the NFL for him. They have to use disguise blitz, crossing A gaps blitz. Blitz him behind controlling gap D-Line 5 tech. His first step his agressive and I believe if he blitz and is pick up blitzing from a RB, he'll win more than lose in the future. But right now he needs to work on his strenght and hands technique.
Just my thoughts.. thats what I've been saying all preseason anyway I just don't know why some people thought he would come in the NFL from Boise State and get 12 sacks... gotta be realistic. The thing when you sit and talk with KC, look at the fire in his eyes. He's a football player and he wants to play football and do anything in his power to succeed and thats a big difference from A. Brown so y'all can stop the comparaisons. A. Brown seemed uninterested.
