Put Juice in the slot - and still run 2 TE sets.

We'll have to enjoy them while we can - their contracts will all be up about the same time, so we probably won't be able to keep them together for more than 3-4 years.

Love Jacoby and what he did for us during the SB run, but with his recent production, is there really anything to gain? Granted, he has (had) some chemistry with Joe maybe, but don't know if it's still there. Of course, he would be cheap enough that it probably couldn't hurt and would be worth a try.

Seriously, did a whole slew of veteran refs retire after last year or something? Officiating has been absolutely horrible this year all over. The NFL needs to look at their officiating program, something is definitely wrong here.

If Pitta comes back, I like what someone else suggested and throw him in as a slot receiver, not a TE. I think we are set at TE now (he probably knows it too). He'll probably end up on IR, try out next year, but retire. Too bad, he and Joe really made some nice plays; could've used him the last 2 years

Can't hurt to look at them / explore other options (trade). Don't see Nicks as being productive though - he's already tried and been cast off multiple teams. Be sweet if Boldin would come back, but don't see that happening either; we could talk to teams going through a "fire sale" though to see if there are any viable options.

Hire Smith as a WR coach if he doesn't play. He knows how to play, maybe he can teach the guys how to as well. The ones we have now have no fight/fire in them; they need Steve's aggressive attitude to fight for the ball and not give up. Wish him the best, really hope he comes back (in some capacity).

Can Suggs wear his Gladiator helmet on the sideline if he is not in uniform? It would be nice (and valuable) to have him on the sideline with the team - he could see formations and help the guys on the field, in addition to help get them fired-up. Maybe he will soon, now that he can move around.

Can't Urban possibly come back soon? He was given the IR with possibility to return label, but I forget how many weeks he has to be out (6, like for PUP?). Be nice to see some fresh blood out there (not from our injuries anymore)!

Why not just put Perriman on IR, by the time he ever (if ever) gets on the field, he will have no experience, or be in game shape. He's been out since July, and the season's just about 1/2 over anyway.

From what I remember, it looked like Aiken was open underneath too, and could have fallen into the endzone, but Joe was under duress at the time and so had to take the one shot he saw. Easy the second guess now - should the Seahawks have gotten Lynch the ball on a certain play last year??

Boyle has been playing great. For a "blocking" TE, he's been making some really good catches. We should be running 2 TE sets almost every play, would give Joe more protection, too.

Think Freeney came with a higher price tag, but damn, I was yelling the same thing last night. We had a chance to get him and passed - didn't even bring him in for a look.

Thought the league was supposed to be getting safer for players - I've never seen so many injuries as I have over the last 2-3 years (especially season-ending ones). It's become an epidemic that we're getting slammed with every year now. Has the conditioning/strength program changed during the offseason (or regular season)?
