  1. Maybe he'll have a game like SSS did last year against Carolina - revenge game.
  2. He's had more time to work with Joe now, so hopefully, they'll be more in sync. We could really use a deep threat to help stretch out the field - will give our TEs even more chances too.
  3. So, we've had Jensen on the roster as a backup center for what 3-4 years now? If I recall, we even kept him on the roster when he still had a bad foot/ankle, instead of putting him on IR. Why are we keeping him if rookie Urschel has already beat him out for the spot? Get/retain players that can contribute!
  4. So, we sign another TE? Why?
  5. Wow, shocker! Bet no one saw this coming!
  6. So, are people still going to call Trestman the "quarterback whisperer"? Whatever he's whispering to Joe ain't workin!
  7. So, with 8-10 players within 4-5 yards of the scrimmage line, we still couldn't get an open receiver to stretch the field a little. When every defense knows your receivers suck, you can stack the box to take out the run too.
  8. Toughest loss I remember in a long time -but, the offense should have played aggressive to get Tuck in field goal range on the last drive (would have sealed the game); Lewis should never have dropped the INT right in his hands; of course, Doom shouldn't have committed the facemask - Bortles was already going down. History now; time to move on (on many fronts).
  9. Side note - Saints just fired Rob Ryan. Won't happen, but it would be interesting to fire Pees and hire Ryan, just to shake things up for the rest of the year. Amazing how fast the Saints' D has fallen over the past couple of years - 4th in 2013, now dead last.
  10. Am I incorrect in believing the being an NFL Ref in a part-time job? Don't these guys (and now ladies) have other jobs in the off-season? The NFL should make these positions full-time positions. With all of the rule changes, additions, etc. each year, how can you keep up with it part-time? The structure is already in place - Crew Chiefs, etc. But I believe it should become a full-time profession for them, so that's all they have to concentrate on year-round. May cost a little more to employ them, but I believe the level of play calling would improve.
  11. Ross has showed promise at WR as well, when he's been in. Maybe not consistently good (but who has been this year aside from SSS). I'm afraid he'll be benched now - maybe West can step in.
  12. Use the TEs - they were ballin' all game. Gilmore could have dragged defenders for 4 extra yards. All we needed was a FG to seal the game; knew we were in trouble when we had to turn it over. Each week it's a game to see how we can creatively lose the game again. Dropped INT and a facemask in the last drive to end the game to allow the winning FG is a new one.
  13. Seriously, this should have a major part of the game plan all year. I'm just worried down the road when all of their contracts come up on/about the same time; we may have to dismantle the beast. We have to enjoy it while we can (about the only thing lately we can enjoy during the games).
  14. At this rate, the "W" word should be banned!
  15. He can still help the team by being a de-facto TE coach the rest of the season. Our young TEs can learn a lot from him and he can see things on the field that others may not concerning the TE play. Good luck to you Dennis - thanx for what you have done for the Ravens already!
  16. He showed lack of commitment in Cleveland on purpose, so he could come back home. It's been a plan all along!
  17. Try him as a receiver:)
  18. So, if Rice can't play anymore (according to the NFL owners/coaches), have the NFL hire him as a DV spokesperson/director to help clean up the problem from within the NFL. He has the experience, and has lived through the consequences. He should be a mandatory speaker to the rookies entering the league each year.
  19. He may as well paint a large target on his hip - that's where defenders will target his tackles/blocks.
  20. Never even heard of Raheem Mostert; that was a non fanfare signing.
  21. Hardly seems equitable - Rice apologizes, goes through rehab, outwardly admits his wrong doing and begs forgiveness and he's not even looked at by any team. Hardy almost seems to flaunt his actions and does not seem to show the least bit of remorse and yet is readily signed by a team. If Rice cannot get a job as a player, I agree he could/should be the NFL's poster child/spokesman for domestic violence - who knows better the cost than him?
  22. I remember when everyone was jumping up and down when we didn't get to draft him - maybe he will work out here after all. Good Luck Terrance!
  23. Yeah, I would hope that it would have been determined by now if he needed surgery, otherwise it has been a tremendous waste of time.
  24. Trouble is - his draft pick was high; he's been out for a very long time - his expectations are going to be superhuman to help be the Ravens' savior. He's been off the field for 4 months, even if/when he comes back, he's got a whole lot of learning / getting up to speed to do. I really hope he does make it on the field so we can see what he may be able to do this year, but we can't expect him to step on the field "cold" and turn around our season. Hopefully, this is a one season anomaly, and he'll have a very productive, long career here
  25. Hard to believe he's only played for us a year and a half - sure seems a lot longer. Wish he could have been here his whole career! we would have seen all sorts of amazing things. Still love his slam of Pacman Jones to the turf the best though - that made his attitude statement when he came here. Ice Up Steve!
