Holy crap! 6' 6" and 275lbs ! I'd hate to be on the receiving end of him coming down the field! He could develop into being a real receiving monster (our own Gronk). Really getting excited to see the offense in action this season.
I just hope Trestman uses all the receivers that end up staying on the roster to mix things up and keep teams guessing. We have enough to put some really interesting sets on the field (imagine Marlon Brown and Waller split wide on either side at the same time, for instance; Joe could throw at the goal post crossbar for them).
Maybe have it refined to be "the best regular season game" then. Anytime you win a playoff/superbowl game, it has to be in the running for "best game".
Yeah, what kind of dummy wears that ring out on the water, and then keeps it on while docking! Of course, she should have known better to let him wear it anyway, but.... Glad it has a happy ending for her.
There aren't enough hotels in Pittsburgh for a Superbowl. Was there a few weeks a go (for the Stones concert) and there are only a couple of hotels downtown. The casino got overwhelmed afterward too; think the Superbowl is too big for them, we have more downtown hotel rooms.
Doesn't matter, just go into each game with the mindset to destroy the opponent. Do not let up, show no mercy for the full 60 minutes. Let's put some fear back into the league.
Agreed, I was surprised they went after Brown to begin with, and now with his lack of production over the last couple of years it's even more baffling/disappointing.Hope he can turn it around.
Good stuff to hear. Work hard Maxx, we can always use a stud tight end! Expect good things out of him; he does have the advantage of having his dad play in the league, so he knows more of what to expect and plan for.
I still want to know whatever happened to Edgar and Allen - I think Poe had them bumped off to get all the glory. Mascot conspiracy and cover-up. Where's the story on this?!
Need to have a Pittsburgh reporter pick this up and write a "Suggs is Done" article. That will fire his butt up and get him going. Another trouble is that the rookies and young guys look up to Suggs for drive and motivation, and if he can't/won't do it anymore, then that leaves a void to be filled.
Him coming in out of shape means that he has to bust his butt even more now to get into game shape, instead of pacing his conditioning out over a longer period. Ray Lewis came into camp in better shape each year; he ramped up his intensity each off season to compensate for his advancing age and diminishing skills. Has Sizzle lost his fire ????
