  1. I wouldn't sleep on Boyle or Zadarius Smith either; they've both looked good this summer.
  2. Right now, I would say that Waller might be our "burner" - monster size and scary speed. Perriman will have to work his way into the rotation; he's been out so long.
  3. Another good draft pickup. He should be able to contribute during the season - we may forget about McPhee in a couple of years! (hopefully)
  4. Let's hope he gets back up to speed fast - Joe needs targets he can rely on (of course, it helps when Joe delivers the ball on target too). Let's go Marlon!
  5. Too bad we didn't have him here his whole career
  6. Would really be cool if SSS retire as a Raven, but would totally understand if he does with Carolina due to his longevity there. He may still be ticked off at them for letting him go though ....
  7. I've thought that too - extend the roster if you plan on extending the regular season to 18 games. Teams need more bodies to fill in for injuries over a longer season. Of course, the cap number would have to increase accordingly too.
  8. Yeah, keep the SB odds bad - so I can cash in more !!!!
  9. Any further news on Marlon Brown - was really looking for him to have a big season this year. Now, not so sure - what is his injury?
  10. Whew I started reading the headline and thought something had happened to Campanaro! Brief scare
  11. Don't get me wrong; I love Dennis and what he has done for the Ravens. It would be a great personal triumph to come back and get on the playing field. I just don't think it would be in the team's best interest at that point of the season.
  12. Have the Drs even cleared him to play yet? He may not get cleared by then, so the point may be moot. Also, with the other TEs building chemistry with Joe and the offense throughout camp and the first half of the year, would it really be beneficial to bring Pitta back in cold, just because he is able? He and Joe haven't connected on a play in almost a year, and he barely got to play last year, so his "connection" with Joe has almost been non-existent for 2 years now. So, even if he is able mid-year to come back, I don't think the front office should throw him in just because he can.
  13. Makes no sense why it took 2 weeks to get an MRI done - wouldn't you want to do that initially to know the extent of the damage (if any) to help prescribe the proper course of action? It's not like they can't afford to get the test done.
  14. He apparently looked good on game film too - just hasn't made the transition to the pro game. Would be nice if we could get something for him, but who will bite, given what we've seen out of him?
  15. Yeah, where's Week 15 ??? Surely, they can find someone to honor (Mason, The Goose, Sam Adams, etc....)
  16. Interesting, I would have expected Joe to be better out of the shotgun. Hopefully, either way, we use the hurry-up offense more to help the defense on their heals.
  17. Exactly, Jarrett Johnson never lit up the sack numbers either. He just set the edge and took care of the run (very well). Upshaw performs and executes the same way - no flash, very consistent; (and effective), just not very flashy or exciting.
  18. I've wondered about the solar programs (Solar City, Vivant, etc)for our house - I cn put an array on the back side of our roof. Wasn't sure how the "free installation/buy back" thing works though.
  19. Can you even imagine asking this question a couple of yeats ago ????
  20. Didn't his brother Mike play baseball, then try out playing TE around the league?
  21. Plus, we have Urban and Lewis-Moore, who are "virtual rookies" on defense to watch.
  22. I really think Perriman will make the biggest impact. I believe he'll be worked into the offense early (more so than Willaims, since Gilmore is here from last year). He poses as a very effective weapon for Joe to exploit; just hope it comes about. I think all the rookies (especially the first 3-4 selected) will contribute this year, just think Perriman will have the biggest contribution/impact.
  23. Seems like the analysts are all hung up on the "sexy" stats (TDs, yardage, ints, etc). They fail to take into account Joe's constant adjustments to new coordinators/systems/receivers and his ability to quietly lead the offense. All he does is calmly win games consistently (which, I guess is boring) - well, so be it. It's gotten us to the playoffs in 6 out of 7 years and a superbowl ring (thus far). I'll take that!
  24. If he sits out the whole season, I doubt he tries to come back next year. He's not getting any younger (isn't he 30 this year?). Any more injuries would really put him back too.
  25. I could see SSS hitting the mark halfway through the season (only needs around 80yds/game), should be easy to do over the whole season.
