  1. Split a couple TEs out in a wide set - they're not the fastest, but they can use their body size for position. SSS is the only WR doing it right now. He has to "Ice Up" the rest of them in a hurry!
  2. He's been more elusive to spot than Bigfoot! Let's not get carried away though, and expect too much from him too early. Hopefully, he will pan out to be a premier WR, but he's been off the field for a long time now. He can't be expected to step on the field cold and save the season - he's gonna need help.
  3. Hopefully, home field helps fire up this team! Been gone from M&T too long. We need to come out fast and hard, hit Cincy in the mouth and not let up!
  4. Put he Monster Receiver Set on the field at the same time - Brown, Waller, Gilmore & Boyle. With that much size/beef on the field, the secondary would be outmatched (maybe not by speed though).
  5. Unleash the Babin!
  6. Put him in, he can't do much worse than what we've seen so far. He does have the experience, hopefully, he still has some fire and ability to get after quarterbacks. Dalton needs to be pressured.
  7. Hopefully, we are a team capable of winning football games - especially ones that count. we will find out over the next 3 weeks when we play all of the AFC North rivals.
  8. Schaub would be a better option ???? Somehow, I don't think so.
  9. Doubt it, Buffalo looks pretty good so far, and I think Rex and Harbaugh would be butting heads all of the time if he was here. Something definitely has to change though. Interesting how we can never make any "in-game" adjustments; we keep trying the same thing, hoping for a different outcome (don't they call that insanity?).
  10. Yeah, it definitely has hurt Joe's (and the receivers') stats having the 'ground and pound' philosophy of offense. The last (and only) time the Ravens had a deadly, consistent aerial attack was way back in the beginning when Vinny Testeverde was here. Would be nice to see some more of that when Perriman comes back. We certainly could use a more balanced offense to throw off opposing defenses.
  11. Let's have Terrence Cody give advice to Carl Davis and KLM about playing DT while we're at too.
  12. Yeah, Clayton is the perfect person to give Perriman advice on receiving in Baltimore -- NOT!
  13. Very often bone will heal faster than a softer tissue problem (sprain). It would still be nice to get a definitive statement about what the actual injury is on Perriman (or did I miss that). Good to have Lorenzo back, maybe we can pound it to Oakland this week so Joe's not dancing for his life again.
  14. Hopefully, they can prove that they don't have a propensity to get torched repeatedly again by Manning.
  15. Don't now any of these groups, but that's fine - football kickoff party! Let the games begin. Hope we have a strong season; got some tough games (as always). The road to the division title starts now.
  16. Seems like there could have been someone else besides Brown we could have let go - he did real well in the preseason, and might have become a real good receiver for us. Maybe we can get him back. Wasn't it Josh Bynes we cut/resigned about 4 x the one year?
  17. I hope some of SSS's fire rubs off on the other receivers/players. His passion is contagious on the field, our players can use that.
  18. Would like the Pats to eek out a victory, but suffer the loss of some key players doing it, so it impacts their season down the road. Let them try to play w/o Brady/Gronk for a few games.
  19. Could use the monster receiver set - Maxx, Gilmore, Waller, Brown
  20. Get Waller on the field - he's as big as a TE, but faster. Just lacks experience being a rookie. Could have huge upside, though.
  21. We need to pressure Manning and get him out of his rhythm. Hopefully, the front 7 can cause some chaos this week.
  22. Yeah, he's got the hands and shiftiness to take care of kick returns, the big question is the durability. And if he goes down, we certainly do not want SSS or Webb back there either - they belong in their primary role.
  23. thought he looked good in the preseason, and wouldn't have been surprised in we kept him on the 53 man roster. Schaub is only here for a year and is what, 34-35 years old. Renner is definitely in the running for Joe's backup (maybe even later this year).
  24. Just another example of the class organization we have with the Ravens - top to bottom. Best pro sports organization in the country.
  25. Hey, Tandon doss is available again! Oh wait, that won't help our team ......
