i wonder why hensley has us being swept by pittsburgh which if we have a healthy team i know we can win atleast 1 of them because yes pitt does have a solid offense but their defense is weak. if we have a solid offense and our defense plays strong with some new pieces, i think we have the possible sweep in our favor. and for years we have had new englands card, we have always played them tough and close games and nobody really knows what the pats are going to look like this year. but all i can say is if we have myles jack and mosley as our LB's then i dont think Gronk will do much against us along with weddle floating around. i call a 14-2 or at worst 13-3 season because i know out players are pissed about last year and have a chip

i say if we grab a CB or WR in rounds 1 and 2 we will be very beneficial...in the long run if we restructure Joe and resign KO along with lets say signing treadwell in rd 1 or coleman if we trade back in the 1st...that will sew up our offense for a good 3 years. having solid WRs with depth at RB and our oline being solid...that will give us 9 other picks for defense which our defense played good last year minus or secondary...so grabbing a CB in the 1st or 2nd to line up and a safety in rounds 3 or 4. we should be back in the playoff hunt. i get picking a DE to fill in for suggs but our guys played fine last year without him and it would give us another year to look at the guys we already drafted to fill in for suggs...especially if bosa isnt coming into the NFL with the same fire as suggs.

they have talked to kyle shannahan, kubiak was here this past tuesday (seen at jimmy's seafood) so they are looking to get someone soon.

i dont think that the ravens requested to speak with NORV is because we are in the same division and sometimes its tough to get a guy from a team you see twice a year. especially if they retain all of the assistants and specialty coaches because norv would know the basics of the scheme and play calling. plus he knows the ins and outs of the players. (mutual respect for each team in division)
