  1. Writing "And the plot thickens" on Twitter is a big debacle to you?
  2. Apparently you didn't see his play during the pre-season and training camp, as the coaches did.
  3. Carl Davis was hurt in the final preseason game, perhaps you missed it. Matt Elam was having a great training camp this year and was finally becoming the player we drafted him for, perhaps you missed that as well.
  4. Wow. Are you for real? You would not know a good organization if it bite you. No FA coming here? What about Weddle, Watson and Wallace? That's 3 quality FA's just this year, and they were paid well to come here.
  5. Yeah, he dropped the ball on the kickoff then fumbled it and is injured on top of that!!!! Kaelin Clay fumbled a punt once and was promptly released, that's a double standard there! Kaelin Clay wasn't as good of a receiver as Camp is. When did Camp get hurt? I missed that one. DaCosta pegged his reputation on Campanaro. He was behind the trade that allowed the Ravens to move up to draft Campanaro in the 2014 draft. He pegged Campanaro the new Edelman or Wes Walker even before Campanro played a down in the NFL. I don't pretend to know the behind-the-scene dynamics, but I think that the Ravens have gotten worse with their ability to draft since DaCosta has gotten more and more say. Pre-draft he tends to come out too brash and braggadocious which is unlike Ozzie. In my opinion the reason they are keeping him as GM #2 is not because he is really good, but to protect their trade secrets. If you are going to criticize the Asst. GM, at least spell his name correctly.

His problem is he cannot stay healthy. In my opinion there's not enough sample of him playing to say that he is good. His best showing was the Tampa Bay game when Flacco threw like ? 5 TDs in the first half in 2014. Tampa Bay was pretty bad that year. So I'm saying that he might be good but we don't have good evidence of it on film in the NFL. He continuously has been making the roster on potential. You apparently missed his touchdown against the Steelers. Great play.
  7. Brooks did NOT clearly out perform Elam. They both played well and I would have kept both and cut Lewis. But I am glad we kept Elam. He has turned the corner and will be productive when he gets back.
  8. Elam is still with the team.
  9. You're kidding right?
  10. Absolutely. Just recently, Harbs said that the returner would NOT be just a returner. They had to earn a roster spot doing something else in addition to returning kicks and punts. Camp IN, Hester OUT.
  11. I agree with Pierce...beyond that I think you missed on the rest.
  12. I doubt Perriman will be on the field for the first offensive play. Look for SSS and Wallace as the wideouts, possibly Aiken.
  13. Before he we can even put him on the PS, he needs to pass through waivers.
  14. He would not succeed as an NFL QB. All teams agreed on that. (See Tim Tebow)
  15. You are totally wrong about Perriman. Obviously you have not been reading this website or you would know just how well Perriman is doing. In fact. Trestman has commented on his concentration and great hands.
  16. Why would we want him if he's not good enough any longer for the lowly Browns???
  17. We are still loaded at TE. We don't need to pick up someone. Teams normally carry 3 TE's: for us that is Pitta, Gilmore and Williams. After week 4 we have to find room for Waller. After week 10 we need to find room for Boyle. So no need for anymore TE's.
  18. Ozzie signed him because they were unsure about Pitta and Gilmore was expected to have surgery on both shoulders and be out indefinitely. As it turns out, Pitta and Gilmore came back sooner than expected. Based on that, I think Ozzie did the right thing in signing Watson. Just unfortunate what happened since he has been the only healthy TE throughout training camp and developed great chemistry with Joe.
  19. The only serious injury here is Watson. Pitta's finger was a stupid, self-inflicted injury and did not occur while playing. Pitta, Elam and Dixon will all be back soon.
  20. Brown will be lucky to make it to the Practice squad.
  21. I like your thinking here. Need great hands to be a returner.
  22. Perriman is no longer eligible for the PUP since been activated in practice. Only possibility for him would be IR and then we bring him back, which I doubt would happen. I believe what he meant was to NOT activate him at this time, but to LEAVE him on PUP.
  23. Lewis is not a starter. In fact, until Elam was hurt I think Lewis was expendable.
  24. JJ only shot is practice squad. He has to forget a roster spot. No way he makes the 53 man roster. I believe we only keep one backup and that's Mallett. We'll see. They will keep the best 53. At this time I would pick JJ over Mallet.
