  1. One game does not make the season. The Ravens will be known as a Top 10 defense with an up and coming offense with several different playmakers on both sides of the ball. In the first 3 games they did what it took to win the game in the end, unlike last year. Unfortunately, they came up just short this week. I look for the Ravens to bounce back much like the Steelers did and blow the Redskins out this Sunday.
  2. That is true of last year, but not "the last several years".
  3. It's called competition and it makes everyone better, as Harbaugh says.
  4. Too early. He had more catches as a rookie last year than Dennis Pita had as a rookie.
  5. What have you done for me lately... in Forsett's case, absolutely nothing.
  6. Dixon yes. Waller doubtful.
  7. Dixon will be eased back in and Waller will have little if any impact, and may even be placed on the practice squad since he would be the 4th-string TE.
  8. I honestly don't know why he is still on this team.
  9. "We" don't share your opinion. "YOU" thought they were, and you will be proven wrong.
  10. Stanley said that before last weeks game, not this one.
  11. Some outlets are stating he is nursing a sore shoulder and Jensen would be the next man up Why would Jensen be the next man up when Urschel filled in at center last year and did well?
  12. Be sure to watch Ravens Wired this week.
  13. You are referring to KO. First of all, KO was very good but not an all pro. Second, we tried to keep him, but Oakland offered him an insane amount of money. Good for KO. We could not spend that much on one offensive linemen, especially since we signed Yanda to an extension. BTW, Yanda is an all pro. And we kept him.
  14. Keep up. He was ruled out a week ago.
  15. Ed Reed DID retire as a Raven. There was a press conference and all. Ray Lewis has said on many occasions that he does NOT want to coach.
  16. Are you referring to Dumervil? Not happening.
  17. Pitta returned to practice on Saturday, so I would say he's probably the starting TE on Sunday.
  18. Another reason we should have cut Lewis :)
  19. It's a "potential" of $4 mil if you include incentives, not a base.
  20. To spend a second round pick on a player then ask them to switch positions is just delaying their progress. It is difficult enough to make the leap to the next level without having to relearn a new position. It should really be a stretch goal to play another position. Either that or draft an ILB to play ILB. Feels as though the potential he has is being squandered on making a project. Also whatever was said to him about the intensity in the practices, please remind him on game day he has the green light to amp it up again. The guy obviously has the motor and drive to get after players, just safe it for the opponents not your team mates. They drafted him as a pass rusher. Trying him out at ILB was because we had an opening there. It's not like they moved him from OLB to DB. Good grief! you do realize the OLBer we usually draft are DE in college, because in a 3-4 you have to have 260+ OLBer, so to ask a player who is as athletic as KC to play ILBer isn't a tall order, but like most rookies, it's a process that takes time....No one said he wasn't going to be good, but the idea of having play ILBer was because we have a lot of depth with OLBer/pass rushers, and don't have the depth at ILBer, so that is why he was getting a lot of reps there, as that would be the best position for him to get PT.....Good grief..... Good grief... that is what I said. They tried him out at ILB because there was an opportunity there.

  22. This year's rookie class I believe will be one of our best ever, in terms of Quality and Quantity.
  23. Oz has made some less than great choices. I'll give you Arthur Brown. But some take longer for the light bulb to go off, like Paul Kruger. Fans only remember his one good year, not the 3 years prior where is was often inactive for the game. That's where Matt Elam is now. Sergio Kindle was an unfortunate situation. They drafted him for his pass rush skills. However, getting drunk and falling down stairs and breaking his skull open was unfortunate and can't be blamed on Ozzie. He took a chance on him and it didn't work out.
