The books are better, if you're curious. The movies are more enjoyable when you've read the book first if you ask me.

Led Zeppelin II, anyone? Always seem to forget how incredible this album is. Honestly, Led Zeppelin's first four albums could be the top four rock albums of all time, though Led Zeppelin IV is number one.

Sounds like every Family Guy episode. Random stuff, no plot, not all that funny.

 

Just Seth MacFarlane and his voices.

All they do on that show is just say (the same) outlandish or offensive things and pray for a laugh. There's no good humor on the show. They really push the line of crude humor and sometimes they cross it. 

Not initially, but now certainly.

 

Is it bad that Almost Human made my night by quoting Han Solo?  Yeah, I think Star Wars is in good hands with JJ Abrams.

And yeah, I'll concede that Family Guy was at least tolerable, and even good at times in its early days.

Or kill off Meg.  You can only do the same shtick about how no one likes her so many times.

I think they should kill off the whole show. The characters suck and the plot lacks both substance and humor.

I don't get why Brian was killed. I'm no Family Guy fan, but he was easily the best character on that show. I would have killed off Peter or Chris before him. 

Depends on how much he demands. I wouldn't take him back if he asked for any more than a million dollar raise. He's replaceable. 

They have ordered a HIMYM spin off called How I Met Your Father. Please CBS, do not make that a show. HIMYM hasn't been good for at least 3 years and there's really no reason to spin off, just let it die.

I agree with you, but a lot of people love the show and think it's been good lately. I hope it doesn't make it past the pilot stage, but it'll have a fan base.

I'm a Tolkien geek so I'm stoked for The Hobbit: Desolation of Smaug. Should be a good one!

Lot of talk of having two strong safeties on the field, but does it really matter? They are getting it done at a high level, arguably better than our safeties last year. Period. Done. End of story. Bye bye.

You hit the nail on the head man. I would take him back at the vet minimum because I think his knowledge would help the young guys and for that cheap why not, but he's not going to be a savior for this team.

If he was coming back to help the young guys, I'd rather just make him a defensive assistant or something so he doesn't take a roster spot or cap room.

Yeah, sure. Nostalgia is nice and it makes fans happy. It's just too bad nostalgia doesn't win games.

A team with a losing record cut this guy. A team started a rookie at FS over Reed. As much as he pissed me off, I loved Ed, but you have to be daft or blind to want him back as a player.

Idk about you guys, but winning makes me happier than nostalgia.

Also, I'm kinda disappointed that they're having a second Hunger Games in Catching Fire.  I haven't read that book yet, almost done with the first one, but it's kinda been there done that, time to advance the story.  It's like when there was another Death Star in Return of the Jedi, think of something new.

You won't think that after you read the book. There's a big twist to it, and the second Hunger Games is essential to sparking the rest of the story.

I think Sammy was better live, but that's just my opinion.

Roth's Van Halen is more fun to listen too imo when he's not live

Actually, I saw Van Halen live with Roth last year. He doesn't have the range he used to, but he's still FANTASTIC live. He's not bad at all.

Now to spark another debate.
