  1. The only thing "this fan" does is blow hot air.
  2. Loving it!
  3. Agree and disagree. We've drafted a few great role players and some quality starters. Jimmy, Webb, and Art Jones have been dominant. Torrey, Kruger, McPhee, Elam, and Upshaw have been solid. Overall, it's been good but he's missed a few times too. Lot of hits but a lot of misses.
  4. Funny, we won the Superbowl in 2013... Is that not just a year ago?
  5. I like him, but I don't like him as a tackle. If we grab Martin, I have a feeling KO will be back to RT, and I don't like that all too much.
  6. I find it interesting that we seem to be more focused on improving WR in FA and not OL. Although, there really aren't any intriguing center or RT prospects out there.
  7. Little over what I would have thought, but it's low guaranteed. I can dig it. I hate his inconsistency but I guess I underrate his ability to blow a game open with his play making ability.
  8. This Monroe ordeal has been such a roller coaster. Relieved to hear we're probably going to retain him. In the past few days I've gone from almost losing hope in the 2014 season to now being very optimistic.
  9. Any notable guards in free agency? If we're forced to move KO to RT, it would be nice to have a solid LG. We could use depth at guard regardless of what we do with KO.
  10. Yes, quite aware thanks. More times than not, whatever he reports come true, whether it's a prediction or not.
  11. I'm not going to get my hopes up just yet, but it is Aaron Wilson after all..
  12. Disappointing. The only hope I have for the season now is that Kubiak's scheme makes it easier on the line.
  13. If you look at the Patriots, they not only acquire great linemen, but they also invest big money into their line. Who would have thought that putting together a $25-30M line would result in winning games? They pay their big guys and they keep them locked up. That's one lesson I wish we'd take from them.
  14. How does that make sense? Then we'd have a $10M salary for him and likely a $10M salary for Monroe. Come on now...
  15. Either a deal is coming or we didn't feel like paying him that massive franchise tag salary. Who knows?
  16. Well, no tag I guess. Get the deal done.
  17. About a minute to go
  18. What if we gave Monroe the transition tag like the Browns gave Mack? Is that a possibility?
  19. Samuel Njoku of the Examiner and CBS suggests that we're vigorously trying to get a deal done, and that's why we haven't tagged him just yet. Getting it done in the 11th hour
  20. We'd avoid overpaying though. Hard to tell if it's better to overpay or to let him go
  21. Probably smarter to let him test the market.
  22. The problem with letting Monroe go is that we'd have to completely re-build the line. We'd return Yanda and KO, who might have recurring back problems, but we'd need to fill holes at LT, RT, and find an upgrade at C. It's not good to go into an offseason with THREE holes on the line.
  23. I doubt we let Monroe go. Pretty sure we get a deal done soon, just might have to tag him first. If we decide the tag would be overpaying, who plays LT? Wagner? Oher? I don't like those odds.
  24. It's Aaron Wilson. Not poorly written and probably quite accurate.
  25. This doesn't help us as much as you'd think. While it is more room for us to use to lock up our guys, it's also more room for other teams to use to outbid us.
