  1. I can see Mosley's ranking, he played great but he did make his fair share of rookie mistakes, not a lot but they happened. Flacco's ranking though is ludicrous, this is his lowest ranking since they started making the list. They must've compiled the list before the draft but still he should have ranked higher regardless
  2. I feel so bad for the FO, cuts this year are going to be so hard. So much young talent coming in through the draft and i like a lot of these UDFAs, namely Easton, Allen, Worthy, and Monroe. From the looks of things they can all do some real damage given the chance. It seems we'll be waving bye to some familiar faces like Tyson and McClellan to make room.

McClellan is probably gone. Tyson has been playing at a very high level as a rotational guy and he still is dirt cheap on his rookie contract. No way he leaves.

  3. Very interesting prospect, looks pretty much identical to Aiken to me. Like a poor mans Strong. Great at contested catches, great body control, good hands. Hard to say how he'll do though
  4. Sure, i guess I'll jump in
  5. thats just me not paying attention, pay no mind
  6. I think UDFA center Nick Easton from Harvard is going to turn some heads and make the final roster. He looks really good

I think you might be right - does not bode well for Jensen.

      Harvard? Center? Next Matt Birk?

  8. 1A - Steve Smtih Sr. 2A - Kamar Aiken 3A - Jeremy Butler 1B - Breshad Perriman 2B - Marlon Brown PS - Darren Waller and DeAndre Carter IR - Michael Campanaro Waller flashed at times but is undeniably a project player, he could use a year on the practice squad. Will another team steal him? possibly, but i doubt any team will want to reserve a roster spot for him. If there's an injury i suspect he will be the one called up. I find it hard to believe Camp will make it to the regular season if he gets injured again. Guy has undeniable potential but its all for nothing if he can't stay healthy. We are so crowded at WR now, lots of guys with tons of potential, that if we have to see a guy go i think it'll be Camp, We've shown that we aren't afraid to let 7th rounders go if we have to. But i think we could easily carry 6 or even 7 receivers going into the season.
  9. they've both returned kicks before as well, and i don't recall Camp ever returning a kick last year, only punts even in the preseason
  10. Asa as well, i still remember his punt return a few years back https://www.youtube.com/watch?v= Webb has experience returning as well
  11. already signed with the Texans
  12. i never said it had ever worked out for us, i even explicitly stated "Just because it hasn't worked out yet"....
  13. have you looked at his tape? guy's a relentless rusher, crazy motor. Maybe he'd be a guy like McClellan that'll switch between teh two positions but based on his tape i think it'd be best to let him rush. He can gain weight, thats not a huge issue regardless
  14. Actually Darius Allen looks to be a rush LB
  15. But thats sort of like saying we shouldn't draft Bama players because they rarely work out. Just because it hasn't worked out yet doesn't mean it shouldn't be done at all. It's a good way to hang on to a developmental prospect without using up a roster spot, the problem is that developmental guys rarely work out regardless.
  16. I think Camp may be the familiar face that has to go, guy's got talent no question but its all wasted if he can't stay healthy, which he can't. He may be IR'd instead SSS, Perriman, Aiken, and Brown are pretty much givens (although the article the other day about Aiken and Flacco clicking may have cursed him) I'm thinking Waller gets stuck in the practice squad or IR'd, that height is tempting but he's raw and could use a year to develop Preseason is going to be rather important this year for decided which receivers we keep SSS Perriman Brown Aiken Butler - I'm a big fan, good size, good speed, solid hands, i think that if he stays healthy he will make the roster Carter - If Camp gets IR'd or let go then we need a slot guy. Carter is a sleeper, he looks really good and i think he could have some return ability we could hang on to 7 WRs this year but i doubt it
  17. Cuts this year are going to be so tough, I really like a lot of these UDFA signings, wouldn't be surprised if we part ways with a familiar face or two

If you stock up on talent, then the top 53 deserve their spots. The coaches doesn't hesitate to cut drafted players.

  18. Terry Williams, NT, ECU is still out there...we're lacking a true #2 NT behind B. Williams...
  19. yeah we usually find at least one guy each year
  20. I imagine thats why we brought him in, the fact that he can kick to is just an added bonus. He says he's most comfortable being a punter and KO specialist heres an interview where he says that http://www.nola.com/lsu/index.ssf/2015/02/five_questions_with_former_ulm.html
  21. RB Domonique Hayden from Thomas More invited to camp on tryout basis https://twitter.com/RavensInsider/status/594689276966739968 5'8" 212 lbs i like him. 2000 yard rusher, 217 yds receiving. Good vision, nice speed, nice, wide lower body. I definitely think he'll make the practice squad (if we didn't have 3 that were likely to make the roster no matter what i would say he makes the roster). He reminds me alot of Alfred Morris
  22. The more i watch of Tray Walker the more i like. Guy needs work but given a year he will be darn good with some coaching. You can't teach size and mindset and Walker has both. Gotta love corners that aren't afraid to hit.

    1. ravensnick

He really flies all over the field and attacks the ball. I think he could carve a role in our defense eventually.

  23. Another guy to look at is Xavier Williams, DT, UNI
  24. Zach Hodges, Kurtis Drummond, Zach Vigil and my guy Henry Coley are all still out there
  25. but that could mean one of two things, nobody wants him or everyone wants him and he's weighing the options
