  1. I loved the pick, i was going to take him at 10
  2. I don't know if "slide" is the right word to describe where i thought he'd go, i think there are at least 3 guys that should've gone before him there but i can't say who obviously
  3. Aaron Donald is the first DT off the board, not sure if i agree but its an interesting move
  4. yep but i love it, let the negs wash over me. 9 and counting
  5. pretty safe decision, losing Graham and Stills are pretty big blows though
  6. I'd draft Antonio Brown any day of the week but Ben wasn't even on my board
  7. but to be fair, Manuel was a reach at 15 (i think it was 15) and Bridgewater was the 32nd pick, so its a little different
  8. Yeah i know Winston probably isn't completely worth #10 overall but...of the 23 QBs i deemed draftable (17 that were still on the board), i liked his situation best and if he can regain his 2013 form then he could be a steal. Like i said: i realize its early for him but considering i have 45 picks until my next i don't believe he'd be available then and the drop off is huge. If i could have traded back (or up in the second) then i would have.
  9. If i could've traded back i would've
  10. I'm taking a chance on Winston. He's got the weapons, he's got a good coach in Lovie, and i actually like the Bucs' defense going into next season.
  11. With the 10th Pick, the African Swallows select Jameis Winston, QB
  12. Don't get why theres hate for the Robert Quinn pick, he's easily deserving of a top 10 pick considering Rodgers and Flacco are gone. He was my target at 10
  13. I never said he wasn't deserving of a chance, all players deserve a shot. He asked me what my "opposing" views were so thats all i gave.
  14. average to below average instincts, no coverage skills whatsoever and he isn't a sure tackler either, especially on the outside, and worst of all he has no motor, once he thinks theres no way for him to get to the ball carrier he gives up and becomes a spectator.
  15. all reports are saying he will be next week though
  16. Andrew Bose is an interesting prospect, I'm intrigued to hear how his tryout has been going. Good size at 6'1" 234 and he's athletic, he also hits with some authority. He looks like a perfect ST player, wanna know how his tryout has been going.

      ravensnick

      Could be a McClellan replacement

  17. have you seen any of DePriest' tape? if he's our best option to take over for Daryl then we are in trouble
  18. The African Swallows Offense (0): QB: Jameis Winston RB: FB: WR: WR: TE: LT: LG: C: RG: RT: Defense (0): DL: LB: RCB: LCB: SCB: FS: SS: Special Teams (0): K: P: LS: KR: PR:
  19. I think being as close to the middle as possible is probably best, sure you have to wait a bit for your first pick but after that you won't have to wait nearly as long periods as the people picking first or last
  20. but no Farva?!?!?!?!
  21. It just warms my heart to see all the Pats fans throwing a hissy fit. You guys cheated and got caught! Don't worry, your punishments are never severe enough, if there is any at all.

We all knew that Giselle wore the pants and Tommy "Deflated" Brady wore the Tutu.

  22. tough break for the kid, he'll go to IR and have shot next year. Could be worse though.
  23. An argument can be made that most of our picks were steals, as always. Maxx Williams is easily the best TE and we got his at the tail end of the second, for some Carl Davis was a borderline first rounder and somehow we got him in the third, personally i think Za'Darius Smith was a big steal in the 4th (i liked him more than Dupree because he was more consistent and well rounded, no doubt Dupree has a higher ceiling but i was never a big fan of his) as was Allen. Some might even say Perriman was a steal in the first, I don't think so, 26 was about right for him in my opinion.
  24. Monroe is an interesting guy, gets penetration no problem but i question his play strength. I just watched a tiny bit of tape on him and it seemed like if he didn't immediately get penetration he got pushed around. We'll see how he does if he gets signed after the try out
  25. definitive proof the pro bowl is irrelevant now - Dalton's been to two now
