  2. Why not just say "tough Crap" tough guy, afraid of the babysitters? the expletive wont' hurt you.
  3. I love that we can go a million different ways, I also hate that because it means I have anxiety as to who we're going to take.
  4. I'm sorry, nobody asked you for your 2 cents either, perhaps you should keep it to yourself.
  5. He's my Hail Mary pick, step off sister
  6. Go to main page, scroll over "flock" then choose contests or whatever it is. Pick the pick for $10k. I swear if you choose Lamp you won't make it through the night...not a threat, not that warning mean anything at this point anyway...
  7. I think B, and it's not close. C would be great with someone other than Taco in the second - I really don't see what's so special about him. I don't like him as a convert to EDGE at all. Still wouldn't take C over B though.
  8. bold prediction: we're taking Forrest Lamp at 16 - yes I'm only saying that because I want $10,000 and I thought Lamp was realistic and wouldn't have a lot of votes.
  9. What makes you think Charlton can be fluid in coverage? he's athletic for a Dlineman, but he isn't very athletic for an EDGE guy and he never played in space at Michigan. I really don't understand how he could even give off the impression that he could do that. Don't get me wrong, I don't particularly like Lawson in that role either, I'm just saying I really, really don't see what's so special about Charlton aside from just pure measurables.
  10. He's not, front office has said over and over that anyone with DV isn't an option
  11. Can't remember where I heard it, but I read somewhere that it's Hue that's pushing hard for Trubisky and the FO just wants to take Garrett
  12. I suppose they theoretically could if he's signed his tender, but the question isn't whether the Pats would be up for it, it's whether the Saints will. He's already made it clear that he's not playing until he's gotten a new contract, so the Saints would have to agree to trading a first round caliber player for 5 years in exchange for giving up that pick and a huge contract to even get Butler to play at all. From their point of view the value just isn't there.
  13. Just an issue before I keep reading - If the Saints sign Butler then they give up #12, not #32, hence why it's not going to happen. If they were going to go ahead and give up the first for him they would have already done it, he's not worth the #12 pick AND a massive contract that he's demanding.
  14. We may not come to any sort of agreement here, because I came away with a very different impression when watching tape. He plays high at OT, that's how he compensates for having poor footwork, he stays high so he can recover quickly. His kick out is usually not correct or very deep at all, every once in a while he'll have a good one, but I'm sure you can see any OT get a good kick out every now and then. Usually its shallow and after the initial kick out he moves towards the defender - it's no wonder why he has so much trouble with quick guys. Honestly, watch him versus Barnett and he was struggling to recover all game, and Barnett isn't even a very athletic guy. That should tell you all you need to know about his footwork, it's very poor most of the time and sometimes it's barely adequate. He's toast against guys that can bend the edge. He'd be so much better served getting moved to guard. He can be an ok RT, but he's much better suited for inside work where his strength can be best utilized and his footwork issues alleviated to an extent.
  15. I disagree entirely, he's got long arms, but his footwork is sketchy at best and his best attribute as a lineman is his strength and mauler mentality. His pass blocking needs lots of work and has trouble with speedy edge rushers, this problem is alleviated by a move inside and his strengths are better utilized there overall.
  16. He's a fine value at 16, and shoring up the line would make us a much better team. I'd prefer a trade back, but it'd be a good pick that I couldn't complain about.
  17. I strongly doubt it, I'd be surprised if we trade before we're on the clock on Thursday night. I'm sure the FO would rather wait and gauge the guys on the board at our pick before making a decision to move back - and teams ahead of us would want to do the same so trading up, unless we're way overpaying, isn't likely either. Any team would hate to trade their pick and then come draft day a steal falls right into what would have been their lap.

  19. I think the FO feels more comfortable at center than tackle considering we traded Zuttah when it was minimal cap savings. Not saying we are in good shape replacing him, but I just think the FO wouldn't trade Zuttah if they didn't feel some level of confidence in Urschel/Jensen/Skura as a replacement. Losing Wagner on the other hand wasn't exactly a choice.
  20. Honestly not upset about that, really didn't like him. People like to throw the low effort label at some players, but for some reason Brantley never got it, even though his tape is riddled with taking plays off and walking around.
  21. I actually thought that Ronald Jones looks alot like Bernard Pierce to me
  22. I really like Alvin Kamara, I don't really want a RB in the second but he's got everything you want in a RB in today's NFL
  23. I think it's a trade back either way... My head is telling me Cam Robinson, just makes too much sense But my body, my body is telling me yeah
  24. ZDS may not make the final roster as it is, simply being better than him isn't gonna cut it. And honestly it's too high for him in my opinion considering they have Dan Feeney, Watt available at 48 so within trade range, couple good CBs, Elflein,, and your guy Tim Williams doesn't go until mid 3rd. Anderson just isn't the type of EDGE that we're in need of.
