  1. Well, I don't see why getting a hometown favorite (except for you of course), the 16th rated safety in the NFL, and a good guy for CONSIDERABLY less money than he made last year, is so hard to get. Makes perfect sense to me. If Webb was any good some other team would have picked him up. The fact that in a passing league he was available after being cut should say its time to move on. It gives you a vet to help the younger players that we bring in to learn our D. Plus gives another back to play Nickel and dime packages . You made argument he let us down in 4th quarter.. well maybe this year since he's playing a more limited role maybe he will have more the tank for the 4 quarter
  2. Thought Buck Allen was hurt
  3. 1. Obviously the FO signs and drafts the players. Its also a case of some players who have played well in the past simply not performing as well. Can't find a single player in the league who performs at the exact same level year over year. 2. That would be the coaches, who schemed the offense around what they saw players actually doing vs what they were capable of doing. If we schemed based on capability instead of actual on-field production, we'd never win a game. I'm going tell you the pats figure out each year to work to the players skill set and abilities. Each player that is a back up comes in fills the hole or they switch things up for the players to mesh well. They do hell of job coaching their wr to sit in the zones or break off their routes so Tom knows where the wr is going be for timing pass if need be.
  4. See offensive line. Do you think they blocked well enough throughout the season to take deep shots down the field? Do you think they blocked enough in the run game to allow our RBs to perform better? What you are describing is not a failure to maximize our personnel's skills. Its the inability to do so, via other players in the unit not performing their skills at a high enough level to do so. O they didn't perform which didn't work to other people on O abilities. who brought these players in here thinking they could perform at high level? Who made the schemes for the O thinking they would be able to perform at that high level?
  5. Offense isn't any different. Same concept. Please we didn't play to our O abilities. I didn't see us air it out too much down field this year cause pretty sure Joe has big arm too do that and perriman and def did not see a lot holes open up for our RB this year.
  6. Yes !! Id like to see us try get a big time TE in the draft more then WR but got feeling it's going be all D and maybe slot WR in the draft
  7. Pretty sure we do that. How do you think you manage to have a defense like we did with obvious talent deficiencies at multiple levels? Its like complaining about our secondary playing too much zone. Show me the corners on this team (outside of Jimmy) that are able to consistently win in man coverage schemes? I was talking more offense but hey thanks for letting me know we are defensive team
  8. Or you blame the players, since they are the only one's that can actually make plays. Never seen a GM or a coach make a play before... Or do you make your system fit to your players abilities
  9. He couldn't keep his weight down and was always out of shape
  10. Every team has crucial drops too Some teams have worst Qbs you probably want them instead of Joe
  11. Ravens were ranked #15 in the league in dropped passes. Right in the middle. Every team has dropped passes. Guess you don't think that's a little wrong with all the short passes completed to the RB
  12. Really Flacco is the problem.. what about a lot dropped balls by the wr ... or do you think joe throws too hard like someone else on here.. Joe still needs get rid the ball quicker but the wr still need the separation.. did you see the separation the pats wr were getting against the steelers.. Actually let's keep talking about the pats game when Joe threw in double coverage and Wallace arms were wide open and it was int.. plus the wr need learn to look at joe when they lease get 5 yards especially if they are hot wr because I saw a lot balls not caught because of that. the right side of oline is not that good we rarely ever run the ball to the right and if we keep running left well that's pretty predictable.. The problem Joe try's force plays and gets in trouble but that's with any Qb ..
  13. ehh need pass rusher or upgrade our offense line more.. with better pass rushers our cb won't need cover longer then they need too
  14. Just bring back Jim Zorn
  15. Really Weddle cost us the Steelers game lol a lot more cost us the steeler game and he Weddle was hell of pic up and he had good season
  16. I don't like the move but I hope we go out and bring Jim Zorn back as Joes Qb coach
  17. If a ball hits you square in the hands and you drop it, that's on the receiver...all the time. Some might be even more critical than I am and say if you get a hand on the ball, you better catch it. I've seen far too many bobbles that turn into picks and just flat out drops from our receivers. That's usually due to a lack of concentration or they all inherited Ed Dickson's hands. I agree I was Wr and was always told if you get finger tip on the ball you should catch it just some people think joe throws too hard I dunno anymore
  18. Ok so Pitta, the guy that has probably spent more practice time with Joe away from the facility than all other players combined. Campanaro wasnt on the original list so I'm not sure where your coming from with that one but he has had his fair share of drops when Joe fires it in there too. Well I was trying come up with players who were not on the list because you said they were all veterans and knew how to catch from hard throwing Qb but guess you're Joe just throws too hard and it's not wr or te fault for dropping the ball
  19. Yes but all the players you named are all veterans that had the skills to adapt to a strong armed qb and the rb's typically catch lobs 5 yards out. I don't know, it's probably a reduculous theory anyway. Pitta was rookie when he came to Baltimore.. campanaro wouldn't have problem if he could stay healthy
  20. I have often wondered if Joe throws too hard. You typically see newly acquired recievers and rookies drop passes or have them bounce off of their hands and chest. It's great that Joe has a cannon for an arm but maybe he should have spent the last 9 years working on his touch. Ridiculous? Seems that Pitta,Smith Sr, Boldin, and all his RB don't have problems Masson didn't have problem.. That's how Masson made living on how hard Joe throws on the 10 and out route why can't we get wr to run that route now and be open
  21. Yes he has thrown some bad passes.. but what about the passes that have hit wr or te in the hands and have been picked off.. what about the pass to Wallace during the Pats game and looked like he was catching one those big bouncing balls you get for your kids.. or what about Kamar not looking back at his Qb when joe had let go of the ball early. Don't give the Wr a break because there plent more. Maybe joe shouldn't have thrown that pass to Torrey but Torrey didn't fight for the ball he hardly fought for any of the balls thrown his way.. Here let me go on Perriamn didn't even try catch a ball when Joe had get rid of it early and he dropped mostly every out route.
  22. How will you say joe is just average.. did he miss some passes yes but on the int Wallace looked like he was trying to catch a chair I mean it looked like joe shot 3 pointer how wide Wallace arms were.. breshad perriman had some nice catches but also missed a pass which was drive killer because he was being lazy wasn't ready for the ball. He's a first round pick he should always expect to get the ball and never look surprised when it's passed to him Receiver's aren't being lazy - it's a product of the play calling - the play was called to go to a specific receiver, which is what happened and 9/10 when they come out of the huddle Joe is locked on 1 receiver. The only time he's not truly looking for 1 receiver is when they run the hurry up. Are you kidding not being lazy on the hot route perriman didn't even raise his arms up to try catch the ball
