  1. Still really hoping we can rebound and get a fourth straight W against Pittsburgh.
  2. Stick a fork in us. AFC North is super disappointing this year.
  3. Awful. Season is on life support.
  4. We should win, but with the way this season's going, who knows. Can we at least shoot for 6-10?
  5. Thank goodness they got it done this early. I'm surprised and happy with this decision.
  6. If we lose these next two games, the season is definitely lost. It's dangerously close right now. If we win one, it'll be on life support. If we win both, we might have a shot at rebounding. Looking at the rest of the schedule (these picks are totally hypothetical, and assume Trestman stays on and we don't become injury-riddled)... Week 6: at New York Giants Giants aren't that good of a team right now, but obviously we haven't been lately either. This is definitely a game that could go either way - almost definitely a game that is decided 7 or less points once again. If we lose this one we'll be in serious trouble. I think we eke one out here, but I wouldn't be the least bit surprised if we lose either. I predict we win something like 20-19. WIN. Week 7: at New York Jets Have no excuse to lose this one. Jets just aren't good. Plus, we have a history of beating them. I'm definitely predicting a win here. 24-17. WIN. Week 8: BYE Week 9: vs. Pittsburgh Steelers The Steelers are obviously better than us right now, but obviously that doesn't matter when we play them (see 2015). We have had their number lately, and they haven't beat us at home since 2012. I'm going to say we win, by the skin of our teeth. Like the Giants game though, a loss at all would not be surprising. WIN. Week 10: vs. Cleveland Browns Like the Jets game, a game we have no reason to lose. Our schedule is somewhat favorable from the Giants game up to this game; my picks have been optimistic thus far, and I'll keep the trend here. WIN. Week 11: at Dallas Cowboys I don't see any way we win this game in our current state. We're probably going to suffer our first blowout this season in this game. LOSS. Week 12: vs. Cincinnati Bengals The Bengals have been pretty disappointing so far this year, but to be fair, they lost to 3 very good teams. Not to mention, they have owned us lately. They just know how to beat us. LOSS. Week 13: vs. Miami Dolphins Dolphins are definitely one of the league's worst teams right now. This is the last game on our schedule that doesn't have me super worried; the next four are doozies. Here, I think we get the victory. WIN Week 14: at New England Patriots Talk about a game I'm dreading. We usually play the Patriots well, but I have a feeling this is going to turn ugly like that 2013 regular season game against the Patriots. LOSS. Week 15: vs. Philadelphia Eagles The Eagles are certainly a superior team to us. I don't like our chances, but it's still probably our most winnable game in the last quarter of the year. Still, I'm not feeling it. LOSS. Week 16: at Pittsburgh Steelers I did say we have had the Steelers' number lately, but I don't think we sweep them two straight years. They get back at us in a Christmas classic and pretty much end our year here. LOSS. Week 17: at Cincinnati Bengals So sick of Cincinnati finales. They don't end well. LOSS. 8-8, miss playoffs. 10-6 is our ceiling at this point.
  7. Trestman is the one who needs to go. Not saying Harbaugh isn't at fault, but if we have a decent offensive coordinator, we will win more games. If we find a good offensive coordinator (and still a good defense of course) and still don't perform well, then Harbaugh's seat needs to get hot.
  8. I stand behind Joe. He's very flawed, and he's had his struggles these last couple seasons, but I think a ) Trestman has a LOT to do with that, considering how good Flacco was with Kubiak in 2014, and b ) The offensive line has NOT been good, and neither has the running game most of the time. Joe isn't perfect, for sure, but he's still got a lot of talent. Considering his postseason track-record especially, I don't care to pick anyone over Joe. He isn't the best QB in the regular season, but still, I think he's one of the least of the Ravens' problems at the moment. No QB is perfect.
  9. This is pretty much a must-win, considering how hard our schedule gets down the road. We had no business losing these last two games; we need to win these next two games to have a decent shot at the playoffs. Lately we've had the Steelers' number regardless of records so hopefully we can beat them at least once again (just looking ahead after the bye).
  10. I haven't posted in so long! Anyway - yes, there's no doubt, Marc Trestman NEEDS to be fired. The sooner, the better. These last two losses were extremely disappointing; both should have been wins for sure, had we played just marginally better. At least we have the Giants and Jets next on our plate; if we can manage to win those two games, the season won't be lost quite yet. But it is dangerously close considering how hard our schedule gets later on.
  11. I couldn't have said it any better. Sweeping the Steelers always means something big. Best football day of the year for me.
  12. This one really made my day, coupled with the Jets beating the Patriots. We may have just ruined Pittsburgh's year!
  13. I'd be really happy getting a win over the Bengals, but it can't top sweeping the Steelers; today was just awesome.
  14. I went to go see Star Wars today, and as soon as the movie is over, I check my phone to find the Ravens up 20-17 with the Steelers on fourth and long. They don't convert. I am overjoyed; feels AMAZING to sweep the Steelers, even though we've had a bad year. We've won the last 5 of 6 against them!!!
  15. I think it's a pretty important season for separating the bandwagoners from the true fans. Surely all of the bandwagoners are long gone by now; only the true fans would stick through a season this bad and continue to support. It's been a horrible football year for us, but the important thing is to move on, accept this disappointing year, and just keep on being fans.
  16. Very cool story; goes to show the opposing fans don't have to be enemies or hate each other. It's a fun rivalry - the best there is!
  17. I hope we at least somehow make this a good game. Ravens-Steelers is still the greatest rivalry in the NFL to me, and the Week 4 game was able to live up to that. Win or lose, let's not make things easy for them; I'd like nothing more than a sweep of the Steelers to highlight a bad year. If not, at least we have our first victory over them and the second Browns game.
  18. Odds are we lose again. But a win is possible I suppose. It's EXTREMELY unlikely, but it would be great to upset Pittsburgh to damage their playoff positioning...
  19. That'd be nice if they could upset Pittsburgh. Of course, barring the chance Cincinnati rests their starters, we should lose all these games. I'll still support them through it all though, as I know all the other true fans will.
  20. Too far in to feel upset anymore. 4 more games away from the pain being over.
  21. No way we win this one, barring a colossal upset of course (never impossible technically). Seahawks have been at their best, while we've been at our worst. The only game we might win left realistically is against Cincinnati if they rest their starters.
  22. Should be a close one. Sounds repetitive at this point considering how all of our games have gone. But seriously, both struggling teams. I'll pick us to win based on our usual Miami success, but I wouldn't be surprised at either result.
  23. That last play was just amazing. Even in a bad year, this kind of win is really special. The problems are aplenty, but I'll gladly take this win. Also nice to avoid being swept by Cleveland...
  24. Shocked we won the game. Horrible that it had to be Flacco/Forsett's parting gift to us. 3-13 looks nearly certain at this point. More than anything though I just really hope Flacco and Forsett can make full recoveries in good time, and hopefully it won't damage their long-term future.
  25. Dreading the probable sweep; when the heck was the last time Cleveland did that to the Ravens? Either way, I can't predict us to win another game this year. Things were bad enough with our starting QB and RB - I shudder thinking about the rest of the games.
