  1. Heard his name come up a lot in the pre-draft process. Could be another steal. As much frustration as there is with the lack of offensive players selected, we're at the very least putting our defense in a good position for years to come with this depth
  2. I agree, there's still Antonio Richardson out there and wouldn't be surprised if we go for him or OG to move Osemele to RT. But in terms of stability, bringing in Winston, someone who's already well-versed in the Kubiak scheme, would be a shrewd move
  3. I think it's a done deal we work to acquire Eric Winston following the draft. Hopefully there are some WR's available too though
  4. ***don't read if you plan to watch House of Cards in the future and hate spoilers I just started House of Cards recently, just finished episode 4. The dialogue is good, Kevin Spacey is perfect as Frank. I like the way the plot developed, how quickly he went from hopeful candidate to vengeful politician, and the methods he uses are creatively thought through. Claire is a great match for him, equally as stern. I'm enjoying it thus far. The part that's killing me is the ascension of Zoe. I just can't fathom that she can establish an immediate connection with someone as tough as Frank on the merit that she has a picture of him maybe glancing at some booty. Keep in mind that the chick Russo was with the night he got pulled over for DWI was paid off relatively simply, so you're telling me they can't just pay her off for a mostly inconsequential photo? Not buying it. Anyone else watch?
  5. You're dead on with this. On numerous occasions throughout the year, fans were questioning Boldin's ability given his inability to get consistent separation from opposing corners. Someone mentioned how Talib was shutting him down before pulling his hammy in the AFC championship, that was certainly the case. He absolutely beasted in the playoffs but that's still the truth about him. The talk about him being on the decline is not a product of the trade or trying to put him down as a means to lessen the emotional blow of losing such a great player. Also the compensation we got was a plus given the situation we were in. I wouldn't be surprised to see us make another under-the-radar signing or trade and make us all forget about this
  6. This this this! I don't understand why we are so focused on resigning Ellerbe, an undrafted free agent who we molded into a starter. I'm sure the FO could work their magic again especially since this draft is very deep at the position...!
  7. Agreed, why tamper with what worked (to the tune of 11TD 0INT 1SB no less). It's always interesting to see how the FO responds to these situations though
  8. I'm with you on that, I don't think we're in a position where we can pay him what he feels he should be paid. His play over the past two years has been declining (relative term, of course) to the point that, at least I can say this for myself, I was questioning what Ed was doing on multiple occasions
  9. Think Min would be interested in him? I mean, a capable WR specializing in intermediate routes, in theory that would work nicely with Ponder who is unable to throw past 15 yards anyway. I'm sure Oz could work out something with Min to get their disgruntled receiver in our purple...
  10. uhm...
  11. Would it be worse if I told you another movie I just saw for the first time? I'm kind of nervous... space jam Hahaha. Whenever I tell people that they're like "DUDE?! did you have a childhood???" lol Nevertheless, great movies!
  12. Just saw Fight Club for the first time! WOW!
  13. Am I the only person in here who hasn't watched Fight Club yet
  14. Sunny San Diego CA!! Love being a Ravens fan in the midst of all these miserable Charger fans!! Really puts things in perspective
  15. Born in Baltimore '89, raised there until '02, lived in Chicago til '03, and now staying in San Diego. Ravens loyalty persists and it's actually fortified when you're around teams that don't have the consistent success of the Ravens. Oh and yes the myths are true: San Diego fans are like turtles. Only show their heads when it's safe to come out
