  1. Always a Raven in our hearts. RIP Tray Walker. Gone too soon. Ravens nation loves you and will miss you

  2. My pipe dreams would be

Round 1: 1a. Jalen Ramsey 1b. Vernon Hargreaves 1c. Laquan Treadwell

Round 2: 2a. Noah Spence 2b. Emmanuel Ogbah 2c. Kendall Fuller

Round 3: 3a. sterling shepard 3b. Braxton Miller 3c. shawn oakman

  3. Almost every talking head and expert I've seen has rated the Ravens draft as an A. Yet somehow 85% of our fans think it sucked?

I wanted to make an account just to lose it, but the ignorance was so bad that it would be pointless. It's amazing to think that they can't just stop for a second and welcome these players to Ravens Nation. They're now one of us (sorta) and I'm sure we wouldn't appreciate it if that was anyone's response to us.

      DefensiveMind

Exactly, these young guys are now a part of the team and should be welcomed and at least given an opportunity before people of their own fan base bash them. I'm sure though if these guys turn into pro bowlers or solid contributors, they will be the first to buy their jerseys. Much like Lardarius Webb a few years back.

Bashing the players and bashing the draft itself are two different things. The players could all be great - but if we don't stop ignoring offense and simply throwing hand me down vets & developmental players at it don't expect it to improve.

  4. At onne time he was a stud, and to no fault of his own he got taken out by injuries. But Webb is done. He probably couldn't cover his mouth when he sneezes

I agree that Webb has been a huge disappointment since his big contract but I think at a certain point you have to accept that corners get beat. There are only a handful of "shutdowns" and the rest of them will have their ups and downs, some more than others.

      HomeoftheBRAVENS

@sflegend89 What bothers me is how uncontested completions against him are.He doesn't even have the confidence to actually contest passes anymore. When a QB throws at him it's not really a case of if the WR will complete the pass,it's how much yac will he get.

    4. polynesian15

      polynesian15

He was close to picking of Vick this Thursday if I remember correctly. Broke on a route pretty nicely, but his play in general leaves a lot to be desired these days.

  5. At this point in time, we might as well position ourselves for a high draft pick. With the injuries and our defensive coordinator, even if we did get on a run we would get killed in the playoffs

I don't think so we are lucky to get in; anyone face us in the wildcard round gonna be sweatin'....

No they wont. They will be torching our secondary

because our team as a whole always does terrible in the playoffs - /s

  6. Congrats on the new deal Jimmy. Now just stay healthy!

  7. Get rid of pees and his prevent defense

Where we're you when we won against PIT?

    2. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

where were the ajustments and aggressive play calling like we had versus Pitt???? Nowhere. Nada. Zip. Pees played turtle. Sadly that is what he does 90% of the time.

  8. Here is to a great draft by the Ravens FO! Work your magic Oz. While I have my favorites in this draft, whoever we select will be welcomed with open arms and hopefully will contribute greatly to another superbowl run!

  9. Here is to being in position to draft Hargreaves or Treadwell

  10. honestly, I think Terrence Brooks will make a big leap forward and be our starting FS by next year opposite Will Hill

Monroe was a caualty and I hope he's the only one. First day and he breaks his leg. Wish him good luck

      757RavensFan

I like Brooks' potential but unfortunately, he's gonna be on the PUP for the 1st 6 games. Barring injury, it will probably be hard for him to unseat Lewis.

Sorry for the confusion everyone, I meat by the end of his 3rd year. Not next year.

  11. I hate that most people are already giving up on Elam. I think he still has potential to be a stud once he learns more and gets comfortable. It reminds me of when people labeled Jimmy a bust and now hes one of the top corners in the league! Support our young guys!

I agree. Just like Jimmy, Elam doesn't lack the physical ability (aside from height) .. it's all about the mental game with Elam.

    3. JoeyFlex5

      JoeyFlex5

they forced alot on elams plate, any rookie would struggle with what hes had to do in his first 2 years, its only gonna make him better in the long run, if will hill is the rill dill, and our cb's step it up, then elam will finally be able to just play his game instead of overthinking everything and trying to be everywhere to help a busted secondary

Can't wait for tomorrow.......it should be a thrill to watch Will Hill! and of course, Matt.

  12. I reallyyyyy want hargreaves, bosa or ramsey

  13. If REEEEEEEEEEEED is not in the HOF i five years, I will lose hope in humanity

hn68wb4 you are so right i looked at Monroe's game tape and he can make things happen he gets under people and moves them.

  14. Im officially off the draft a RB bandwagon and now on he keep forsett, draft secondary players bandwagon

    1. Inqui

      Inqui

I'm still on the RB bandwagon. Next year's class is fantastic, and last night I saw Forsett being awesome (albeit against one of the worst defences in the league), Bernard Pierce doing a whole load of nothing, and I believe LT not seeing a snap.

  15. Joe has 3 TDs and 0 Picks this week

Don't jinx Just say he will have time to throw the winning TD

    3. polynesian15

      polynesian15

Also, he'll have to average 260 yards a game the remaining 15 games if he wants to reach that 4k yard marker.

Get your game face on Joe, there's no time like the present.

    4. poescrows

      poescrows

I don't do fantasy football, but I say Joe's in the top 5 QBs this week.....monster comeback!

  16. Looking at our remaining schedule I only see a potential 3-4 more wins if that. Bring on the draft

    1. Wildabeast88

      Wildabeast88

Can't wait to watch Blake Bortles torch our secondary

  17. Man I hope Jacoby gets back on track, love that guy

    1. stampedehero

      stampedehero

All he needs to do is watch some vintage JJ vids and a dose of Steve Smith motivational tapes.

    2. TDubbs

      TDubbs

Ray Lewis would say Jacoby needs the touch of Ray Lewis ...

  18. Now chris simms says polamalu is better than E. Reed? What is wrong with these people

    2. DefensiveMind

      DefensiveMind

If you look at records held, pro bowls, interceptions, TDs, passes defended, All pro, Reed holds the advantage in everything. All polamalu has is sacks, tackles and FF. We are talking safeties not linebackers.

    3. Wildabeast88

      Wildabeast88

And Chris Simms sucked so his opinion means nothing to me. The real question is ow many times did Ed pick him off

    4. berad

      berad

Ridiculous part is that Simms never even played the Steelers - not that he played that much, anyways. The one game where he played the Ravens, the 2006 opener, he threw three picks and a healthy 30.5 QB rating... one pick to - that's right - Edward Reed. The others were to Haloti (his first game) and CMac. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/200609100tam.htm

  19. RIP Stuart Scott, he was the man

  20. Shout out to the whole team, but I'm particularly excited for a few players. Michael Campanaro made a sick catch, Torrey Smith got back on track, Jimmy Smith got a pick and is continuing to be our best Defensive Player, Suggs for getting his first solo sack!

      Alaska Alaska!

Shout out to Hurst and Urschel!

  21. Sit webbs a** on the bench, start Melvin, sit aiken on the bench, play terrence brooks in the secondary, give joe the keys to the offense, use a double tight end set

      polynesian15

Offense wasn't a problem in this game (33 pts) - sure it could use a little tweak here and there but it's only week 2.

But, how in the name of everything that's holy do you allow the Raiders to score 37 pts!?

      @ DEN: ZERO O, fantastic D.

      @ OAK: ZERO D, very good O.

What's going on with this team?

    3. Stephenjr

      Stephenjr

We need to fire Pees and hire a young up and coming DC ,that these guys will play there hearts out for. Pees personallity is dull and the D seems to take on his personallity .

    4. polynesian15

      polynesian15

So what happened from the first game where they played lights out?

  22. So far, I am in love with these picks.

  23. So is Perriman playing week 1 or not?

    1. sflegend89

      sflegend89

No, he hasn't practiced at all this week. Probably won't see him until week 3 or week 4

    2. polynesian15

      polynesian15

Yeah, I'm thinking between week 4-8. Depends on when he's cleared for field work. You have to ease him back in, considering the severity of the injury and how long they've held him out thus far.

Can't wait for him to play!

  24. So sick of hearing doug baldwin try to argue that he is anything other than average. The guy has 15 TDs in 4 seasons and never once passed 850 yards. He is trying to be like Sherman, playing with a "chip" on his shoulder. The difference is Sherman can back up his talk.

If any of you think doug baldwin is a number one caliber receiver or in the top crop of receivers in the league like he believes...then you may need to visit a doctor

    3. KDUBB44

      KDUBB44

I dont believe that Baldwin is a top wr. But who are u to tell him to not think otherwise. What should he do? Let the critics say he is a garbage wr?

    4. DefensiveMind

      DefensiveMind

The critics dont say he is garbage, they say he is average...which he is. Nothing wrong with keeping quiet and playing your role instead of grasping for headlines.

  25. That was a can of whoop a**, now for brady to get beat up
