  1. we have the dumbest coaching staff in the league...not even close

  2. Flacco is awful now. Sure he hasnt had the best protection but his mechanics have been terrible. Throwing off his back foot, falling over without being touched, overthrowing people when he does have time....sad

    1. ALPHA

      ALPHA

He had decent protection for the first 3 quarters

    2. Bandwagon

      Bandwagon

hes garbage and were stuck with him

  3. We are the worst coached team in the NFL. Need 12 yds, throw it 3. Defense needs a stop, play 10 yds off. Clock management, awful

  4. Lets all take a moment and laugh at the fact that Skip Bayless is lifting weights in a tank top on the First Take intro...

The guy actually was pretty jacked for an old dude, no Vince Mcmahon but not too shabby

You and Skip should do a side by side flex off

  5. I found out what we are doing. Drafting developmental players so we will be in position to draft Fournette next year!

  6. Always a Raven in our hearts. RIP Tray Walker. Gone too soon. Ravens nation loves you and will miss you

  7. My pipe dreams would be

Round 1: 1a. Jalen Ramsey 1b. Vernon Hargreaves 1c. Laquan Treadwell

Round 2: 2a. Noah Spence 2b. Emmanuel Ogbah 2c. Kendall Fuller

Round 3: 3a. sterling shepard 3b. Braxton Miller 3c. shawn oakman

  8. wow, obj showed some ugly colors today

To clear up things. The Saints brought bats to the field in 2009 as motivation, nobody said anything. Panthers used the bat as a symbol for "bringing the wood". Second, OBJ got the star treatment and he's let the Madden cover and the fame get to his head. Notice how the Giants are doing anything to deflect blame to Carolina, finding anyway to justify what OBJ did and save face.

    3. ravensdfan

      ravensdfan

Saints didn't threaten players with their bats, to be clear. Panthers as a team are egotistical, showboating morons. I hope they lose their first playoff game. In fact, I hope it is a beatdown like the Colts got last season.

    4. January J

      January J

And obj isn't showboating before every single game when he puts on a show making all of those 1 handed catches and trick stuff.

  9. Well, on the plus side, we still have a great young MLB and DT haha

Sflegend89 they didn't even had the right picture of him on the pro bowl ballot

I'm a bit upset with the play of Timmy J

    4. Dorota

      Dorota

He's had a couple good plays in the last game. I expect(ed) more of him, but he's not bad. He'll get there. Brandon Williams is a monster though! Even with all the injuries all year, I've never heard anyone rant about letting Ngata go. Williams is the reason why.

  10. Will not be surprised if Palmer puts up 3-4 tds and 450 yds on our secondary... sadly

  11. Looking at our remaining schedule I only see a potential 3-4 more wins if that. Bring on the draft

    1. Wildabeast88

      Wildabeast88

Can't wait to watch Blake Bortles torch our secondary

  12. I reallyyyyy want hargreaves, bosa or ramsey

  13. At this point in time, we might as well position ourselves for a high draft pick. With the injuries and our defensive coordinator, even if we did get on a run we would get killed in the playoffs

    1. AsianRice

      AsianRice

I don't think so we are lucky to get in; anyone face us in the wildcard round gonna be sweatin'....

    2. DefensiveMind

      DefensiveMind

No they wont. They will be torching our secondary

    3. VeiledPsychosis

      VeiledPsychosis

because our team as a whole always does terrible in the playoffs - /s

  14. Here is to being in position to draft Hargreaves or Treadwell

  15. At onne time he was a stud, and to no fault of his own he got taken out by injuries. But Webb is done. He probably couldn't cover his mouth when he sneezes

      sflegend89

I agree that Webb has been a huge disappointment since his big contract but I think at a certain point you have to accept that corners get beat. There are only a handful of "shutdowns" and the rest of them will have their ups and downs, some more than others.

    3. HomeoftheBRAVENS

      HomeoftheBRAVENS

@sflegend89 What bothers me is how uncontested completions against him are.He doesn't even have the confidence to actually contest passes anymore. When a QB throws at him it's not really a case of if the WR will complete the pass,it's how much yac will he get.

    4. polynesian15

      polynesian15

He was close to picking of Vick this Thursday if I remember correctly. Broke on a route pretty nicely, but his play in general leaves a lot to be desired these days.

  16. Sit webbs a** on the bench, start Melvin, sit aiken on the bench, play terrence brooks in the secondary, give joe the keys to the offense, use a double tight end set

Offense wasn't a problem in this game (33 pts) - sure it could use a little tweak here and there but it's only week 2.

But, how in the name of everything that's holy do you allow the Raiders to score 37 pts!?

      @ DEN: ZERO O, fantastic D.

      @ OAK: ZERO D, very good O.

What's going on with this team?

    3. Stephenjr

      Stephenjr

We need to fire Pees and hire a young up and coming DC ,that these guys will play there hearts out for. Pees personallity is dull and the D seems to take on his personallity .

    4. polynesian15

      polynesian15

So what happened from the first game where they played lights out?

  17. Joe has 3 TDs and 0 Picks this week

Don't jinx Just say he will have time to throw the winning TD

    3. polynesian15

      polynesian15

Also, he'll have to average 260 yards a game the remaining 15 games if he wants to reach that 4k yard marker.

Get your game face on Joe, there's no time like the present.

    4. poescrows

      poescrows

I don't do fantasy football, but I say Joe's in the top 5 QBs this week.....monster comeback!

  18. So is Perriman playing week 1 or not?

    1. sflegend89

      sflegend89

No, he hasn't practiced at all this week. Probably won't see him until week 3 or week 4

    2. polynesian15

      polynesian15

Yeah, I'm thinking between week 4-8. Depends on when he's cleared for field work. You have to ease him back in, considering the severity of the injury and how long they've held him out thus far.

Can't wait for him to play!

  19. honestly, I think Terrence Brooks will make a big leap forward and be our starting FS by next year opposite Will Hill

Monroe was a caualty and I hope he's the only one. First day and he breaks his leg. Wish him good luck

    3. 757RavensFan

      757RavensFan

I like Brooks' potential but unfortunately, he's gonna be on the PUP for the 1st 6 games. Barring injury, it will probably be hard for him to unseat Lewis.

Sorry for the confusion everyone, I meat by the end of his 3rd year. Not next year.

  20. Now chris simms says polamalu is better than E. Reed? What is wrong with these people

    2. DefensiveMind

      DefensiveMind

If you look at records held, pro bowls, interceptions, TDs, passes defended, All pro, Reed holds the advantage in everything. All polamalu has is sacks, tackles and FF. We are talking safeties not linebackers.

    3. Wildabeast88

      Wildabeast88

And Chris Simms sucked so his opinion means nothing to me. The real question is ow many times did Ed pick him off

    4. berad

      berad

Ridiculous part is that Simms never even played the Steelers - not that he played that much, anyways. The one game where he played the Ravens, the 2006 opener, he threw three picks and a healthy 30.5 QB rating... one pick to - that's right - Edward Reed. The others were to Haloti (his first game) and CMac. http://www.pro-football-reference.com/boxscores/200609100tam.htm

  21. If REEEEEEEEEEEED is not in the HOF i five years, I will lose hope in humanity

hn68wb4 you are so right i looked at Monroe's game tape and he can make things happen he gets under people and moves them.

  22. So far, I am in love with these picks.

  23. Here is to a great draft by the Ravens FO! Work your magic Oz. While I have my favorites in this draft, whoever we select will be welcomed with open arms and hopefully will contribute greatly to another superbowl run!

  24. Congrats on the new deal Jimmy. Now just stay healthy!
