  1. I love the Toon pick but only because I spent 2 awesome years in Wisconsin watching him catch balls in the end zone from Scotty Tolzien and then Russell Wilson.

I'm real hopeful for his NFL career similar to how Ravens fans are hopeful for Tandon Doss and Deonte Thompson. Just don't know that he gets to make a name for himself with all the receiving threats that Brees will be looking for first. Plus I don't know that he's bringing anything to the table in Special Teams.

He's got great size to be a possession receiver and has the NFL Royalty with his dad having had a solid career...not that that will count for much

They got rid of Devery Henderson and Robert Meachem. Brees needs to throw 5000 yards again and they only got Graham, Colston, and Moore locked up. Toon might be the next one in line.

  2. Well I have to give Corvus credit. If you are going for a youth movement you might as well go all in. The youngest team adds 2 more second year players who basically didn't play at all last year. My only question is why Alex smith and not a rookie qb? Also if you were going to take one older player on d, at 29 why Tarell brown?

Hmm... Maybe, I'll look into it when Geno Smith and Tyler Wilson fall to my next pick. Tarell Brown was BPA and was still under 30.

  3. graaaaahhhhhhh someone took a steeler....lol

actually I think its a great pick....I would have grabbed him if I didn't already have Raji

Good thing you didn't since majority of the board don't really have a good knowledge of him. I only found out about him when some steeler GM from the recent mock offseason kept raving about him to try to move up my Amplus' Top Trenches.

  4. Surprised no one is mentioning corvus just picked up the biggest steal of this entire draft in mclendon. I was debating taking him a loong time ago. He has played very well at nt in place of hampton. He ay not be quite the same powerful block eater as hampton but he can actuallyget some pass rush. The steelers are thinking of putting him at de situationaly as well. Steal.

Shhh... Just let it sleep... Don't wake the sleeping giant. SteelerProphet doesn't have to know.

  5. Keep it going guys... I enjoy this debate of tool-measuring. Anyways, someone should just draft Eric Reid since he is thought so highly by SB5. Reid had really strong tapes in 2011, but in 2012, he was exposed a lot more than everyone thought and I think that had to due with the loss of talents in the secondary like Mo Claiborne, Patrick Peterson, and the Honey Badger to make Reid take more risk. If you surround Reid with a talented secondary, then he will succeed, so I like his chances with the 49ers, if he can develop fast enough for the starter position.
