  1. This is a one game over exaggeration. Pitta gets more than enough targets (excited for a Gilmore return). Perriman missed an entire season, camp, and pre-season. It seems pretty obvious he is still adjusting while playing behind SSS and Wallace. Most days, SSS and Wallace get a normal workload. SSS gets 7-10 targets usually and Wallace avgs 7. Wallace is not someone you force feed the ball, he is not a someone who runs great routes, makes contested catches or someone who continually beats man to man coverage. A 5 catch day with large chunk gains is perfect. So while Sunday was unusual (cincy also played a lot of man and 2 high safeties), their involvement in game planning has been normal
  2. very good point about Yanda being beside Stanley!
  3. Love that they're playing Judon more and more, that guy has an extremely high motor.
  4. lol this is great. Straight facts
  5. Since cleveland Marty has made multiple changes to the offense??? Whether that's using the hurry up, bunch formations, rub routes, substantially more crossing and drag routes, or getting RB's the ball in space. Waiting for Gilmore to get back so there's a TE involved too. (Pitta is just used in short yardage routes)
  6. This game had positive contributions and play all over the field. Solid W. Since Harbaugh started coaching the Ravens have won a lot of games this way. Read into Flacco's post game comments and its clear. 16-3 at half Harbaugh sees a defense dominating the bengals and Tucker hitting 50 yarders... he 100% talks to the OC and slows down the offense, play for 3 points, make no mistakes and we will win this game. It's annoying and frustrating at times, but that's Harbs. He doesn't let the offense loose until playoffs.... or when Kubiak and his boys ran the offense entirely on their own (that was nice).
  7. So do you think another OL first round pick is in order? Lol maybe. Don't forget there's two rookies playing, a hurt Yanda and an under performing center. Stanley has been hurt. Top 10 pick means he should contribute right away (and he has), but that doesn't mean he won't have rookie growing pains.
  8. Well those stats make the penalties fairly easy to explain. 28 of the 43 offensive penalties come from the Oline. An Oline that has dealt with injuries and different combinations every week while struggling to protect Joe and produce in the run game. They're competing and gambling at times in order to survive. Oline hasn't had it easy this year
  9. While I agree the end result was a mistake, it was more about dumping his salary on the 49ers rather than a replacement player was it not?
  10. I feel Harbs has no choice but to play him. Can't continue to let Pitta be a pylon when blocking.
  11. Rookie season and hurt his SO season does not make him a bust. Plus, they say the TE position is the longest adjustment period as well. Goal would be that he improves next year and breaks out in 2018.
  12. If the FO views B will as important as Ngata was in his years, then they will pay him. And if Ray Lewis was still around he would be in Ozzies office everyday preaching to keep him lol (so that Olineman don't get to Ray at the second level) Side note: Ngata received 5yr/61mil in 2011 lol.
  13. Seahawks we're unable to re-sign Okung, Browner, maxwell and Irvin in recent years. But even so, they're philosophy is that they have a defense that can win super bowls. So retain the core and spend money on that side of the ball keeping it a top unit every year. They spend pennies on Offense outside of QB Wilson, WR Baldwin and TE Graham.
  14. Traditional thinking would be " we can't pay them all" (and the FO drafts oline/dline very well). So with Yanda, Stanley, and Lewis around until 2020 that leaves Wagner out. Though, Flacco's best times came under a top OL. 2012 playoffs when Mckinney got it together and played LT and then all of 2014 the OL played extremely well.
  15. agreed. The AFC North will be decided Christmas day
  16. unfortunately, I think it's the later. Always been a huge fan of Pitta, but how often does he outrun a LB up the seam...? We need a TE.
  17. This offense has been playing without a TE all season and it shows. It's a shame what has happened to Pitta, but he can't get downfield and is a horrible blocking TE. We're missing Ben Watson as he or even Gillmore/Maxx would improve the offense tremendously. Helping the run game and creating a threat in the middle that safeties have to pay attention too. " Cowboys’ defensive game plan was to play conservatively and stop the deep ball. " That's how everyone has played us this year, safeties just sit on top of our WRs. The last 6 quarters Marty has adjusted to a heavy dosage of crossing routes and it's looks good, but we need a TE.
  18. Then give Flacco a nice seat on the bench. He's doing a disservice to the team if he's not physically and mentally prepared to play. Nine years of average to below average play and one hot streak to win a super bowl is a summation of Flacco's career. fans are always so quick to forget 2014. Flacco had his best season and was lights out in the playoffs again. W/O the "in/eligable player 4olineman play" Belichik pulled out of his butt the Ravens would've cruised to the SB against the Seahawks.
  19. I voted this down because I was hoping he would slide to us lol
  20. disagree 100%. Brown and Mosely will get a ton of reps this year. Darryl Smith will get 2/3 of his contract so in 2016 you have Brown and Mosely both being 3 down LBs with experience on young rookie contracts. As far as Williams goes, the front office believes you can never have too many DL and Ngata is wearing down and Cody fell off. So Jernigan adds to it the mix for a nasty front 7 in years to come. That being said, I was hoping for a sexier pick lol
  21. They were probably talking about that because he was battling the flu and still made 9 tackles or something. If I remember correctly he actually had a good game.
