  1. Awe, only decent? lol Spending $4-5 mil on a #3 corner seems lofty. Although, an injury puts Powers or whoever the 4CB is next year to starter...you're right that is scary
  2. Why let Wagner go and use the money to pay an OG? Pay a known commodity in Wagner and have Lewis play LG. You're not content with Jimmy, Tavon, resign Powers?
  3. you the man. Appreciate the insight
  4. I think our defense would dominate Seiman and there below avg run game? 18points probably wins that game
  5. Ok. So you figure a team could pay him 8m-10m/yr, but Ozzie most likely will offer him top NT money so 5-6mil/yr? And if a team overpays for Wagner then back to you're earlier post... Wagner and BWill could be gone
  6. Never looked at it that way. That is bad. If we lose Wagner and BWill that would be horrendous lol can't imagine the reaction on these boards. I think you kind of answered the BWill question than.. If he isn't Ngata than why pay him 8-11mil/year?
  7. Agree with it all. I only see the FO paying two Olineman...an LT and then a player who is a top tier talent. KO was, but we already had Yanda. Since the LT is on rookie contract they could sign Wagner to 3 years and then after 2019 you'd have Stanley, Lewis and Wagner as UFA. If solidifying the Oline is top priority. Option 3 is a little scary for 2017 which is @Dubs point. But then BWill comes into the picture.. Is he viewed as our next Ngata? If so, will they pay him like he is? Personally, as much as I want to see BWill back and retain a #1 defense... Flacco is 31 getting paid 22-26mil a year against the cap. Solidify the Oline and lean on the offense.
  8. Yup, soften the opponent with compliments rather than awaken the beast. That's the theory at least
  9. Last nights game reinforced the message that a QB is only as good as his Oline... Carr was very uncomfortable.. wasn't going through his progressions, wasn't stepping into throws, inaccurate, and wasn't even finishing his dropbacks before he was already throwing. Makes you wonder if we could get by without signing a WR and try to pay Wagner at RT to solidify the line
  10. Wouldn't you want someone who compliments Wallace and Perriman not duplicates them? Garcon gets serious YAC and has 38 FIRST DOWN catches..that's pretty impressive.
  11. Very curious to see how Pee's game plans this week and how BB decides to attack the secondary. With no Gronk in play I really hope we play like 2012.. When our corners played within 5yards and safeties shrunk down as well. They CROWDED the field within 20 yards, swarming to make tackles and reduce YAC. I'd imagine BB forces Tavon to make decisions in coverage and challenge him that way...Challenge his IQ and preparation.
  12. I still can't believe Denver thought Champ Bailey could cover Torrey 1on1 lol He made Champ look real old that first half
  13. What I don't understand is... why did Miami not adjust!? Curious to see what BB does this week, can't imagine he will just allow the middle of the field to get gashed like that. Why not force Wallace and Perriman to make the downfield sideline catches, no?? challenge them that way rather than running free across the field
  14. Typically teams have played safeties on top of our WR so that makes it difficult. Marty has adjusted the last 3 games though and used the team's WR speed in crossing routes. Covering someone horizontally is hard enough.. when you have Wallace, Perriman type speed that makes it damn hard. (can't forget SSS he's still fast too and quick in/out of breaks) Once teams decide to shrink they're safeties to help in the crossing routes or to stop the run , then I'd assume we will see Flacco throw some bombs. But neither have occurred yet
  15. Haha this is twice today I haven't caught on to someone's shenanigans... I just want friends
  16. lol that would be fun, can't wait!
  17. Just when @January J convinces me to vote Tavon for ROY you make this very good point... The plot thickens lol Yea, I think we all agree Stanley for MVROTY. Debate open for ROTY. What a great draft the boys had
  18. Patriots known to be good in bad weather conditions no? Why can I picture Brady slinging it in the snow lol Honestly, I don't see them using anything abnormal considering they may see us again and are only fighting over the #1 seed with OAK at this point.
  19. when someone hijacks the thread by changing the subject and getting users off topic. See youtube comments about religion on a video about cute kittens haha
  20. But it's ROTY not MVROTY lol.. and you voted for Tavon? So you're going against your own view point? Personally, I'm not sure how to judge. Stanley is most valuable, remove him and Oline and offense are screwed... but how do you take it away from a guy whose playing a pro bowl level at his position? (not saying someone is, just for arguments sake)
  21. Just to chime in here.. Dallas game I agree not much wiggle room to run considering circumstances..MIA game, Flacco was shredding them so why stop until he struggles..and he didn't. One thing I liked about Caldwell was he didn't care about the ground game's success. He was going to pound the rock 25 times a game and not stray away from it. That helped Boldin (when in slot) and Pitta get behind LBs. With Kubiak, running the ball was successful so it wasn't even a discussion lol
  22. Agreed. So the question then becomes.. do you judge based on most valuable to the team? or who is playing the best football?
  23. well you pissed off @Tenacious Faulker lol! So it kind of worked...
  24. I'm confused lol. You were being sarcastic in previous post than?
  25. Last week someone on this board pointed out that it's no coincidence Yanda playing next to Stanley coincides with his raised play... I would like to reiterate... Yanda next to Stanley is huuuuuuge for Stanley!
