  1. Was really hoping Barnett or Allen, but Humphrey addresses an area we have been absolutely trash in for years now. Everyone was crying for a corner, but we sign Carr and suddenly it's no longer a need? Taking Foster or one of the OT made no sense to me. It's unwise to use a #16 overall pick on a RT or a LB when you already have a first round pro bowl LB. There is plenty of mid round value that can start at RT/ play ilb beside Mosley. Time will tell, but we should have the most physical and talented secondary in the league.
  2. I think we have to grab those guys if they're there. I understand the CB talent, but expecting the offense to perform with the current personal or adding a mediocre WR in FA now doesn't seem probable.
  3. anyone have an estimate for current cap space?
  4. Man he seems like an awesome teammate to have
  5. The time is now.. Flaccos is 32, a SB capable QB, and paid like one. We have 3 years maybe 4 left to win with Joe before needing to find another SB capable QB. Superbowl run needs to happen within the next 2-3 seasons
  6. Haha my man!
  7. This signing is absolutely massive.. Weddle and Tony on the back end is a game changer
  8. Most of these moves aren't really a surprise, from what I've read on the boards, except that Wagner got 9mil a year and we will make a push for BWill.. I hoped for the opposite. So what's out there for us now..? Garcon and Marshall gone blows. So at WR that leaves Pryor? Britt? Torrey? and for OL Mangold? and??? CB Bouje? Gillmore? Prince?
  9. Darian Stewart was ranked #16 at safety by PFF in 2014. So he played very well in Baltimore and then "blossomed" when he went to a team with two pro bowl corners, T.J Ward beside him, and 2 pro bowl pass rushers. Not to take anything away from the man, but let's be real.. He was good in Baltimore and now is surrounded by the best supporting cast in the league.
  10. " if Lewis can play RT than adding a FA guard that's better than Lewis at guard (would be huge). Just for arguments sake you could say that 2 above average guards significantly improve the OL rather than at RG and RT. ex. 2012 and 2014 had two very good guards and young average RTs. And before those seasons it was Grubbs and Yanda as above avg guards." Glad to see I'm not the only one advacating this theory! (depends how good they view Lewis can be at LG or RT)
  11. Haha common, don't like Corey Davis' hands??
  12. Why is that special? He's not doing it with those two? He's doing it with Julio, Sanu, Freeman and Coleman. The other two play small roles while Gabriel has explosive plays. But yes, Matt Ryan is having an extraordinary year.
  13. Ok. The man is freakish though!
  14. Is the consensus that Mike Williams and Corey Davis will both be gone before 16?
  15. I hear this is misconception all the time. Seattle has decided to keep their defense together because it is proven great enough to win a SB. And still have lost Irvin, Browner, Mebane, Maxwell to note. Otherwise they suffer on offense losing Golden Tate and 3 OL in recent years (Unger via trade, Okung and Sweezy). They only spend $6.26 mil against the cap on the OL!! They rank 5th in defensive spending and 30th in offensive spending.
  16. Agree on both statements. While I think an efficient route runner and chain moving WR along side Perriman sounds better than Wallace and Perriman... It is possible that a significantly improved run game would eliminate the constant 2 high safeties look we got all season long and we could see more of a deep threat Wallace next season?
  17. Billick wasn't fired after one bad season. He had a losing record 3/4 years when Biscotti became majority owner and the 2007 season was extremely disappointing. More importantly though, Billick was tied to Kyle Boller and that time was over. 2008 meant new coach new QB. I agree with Biscotti, this year was not the year to start firing people. The 2017 season is make or break
  18. Yea just for arguments sake you could say that 2 above average guards significantly improve the OL rather than at RG and RT. ex. 2012 and 2014 had two very good guards and young average RTs. And before those seasons it was Grubbs and Yanda as above avg guards. ( this assuming the FA guard is better than Lewis and Lewis can play RT) Could be as easy as that, never had the opportunity to pay a RT who was worth it
  19. here's a thought... If Lewis can actually play RT, then paying a guard in FA 5-6m/yr might not be a bad idea.?? Would mean we have a similar OL to the 2012 and 2014 teams. 2012 - Mckinney, Osemele, birk, Yanda, Oher 2014- monroe, osemele, zuttah, yanda, Wagner 2017- Stanley, FA guard, zuttah, yanda, Lewis. I see all 3 as very similar. FA guard should be as good or better than 2012 Osemele, but lesser than 2014 Osemele. RT, C, LG, LT would all be identical.
  20. I'd be ok with it as well (I think everyone wants an above avg OL), but has the FO ever paid a RT significant money?
  21. Based on free agent WRs last year I could see him getting 7m/yr. his age is against him. Also liked Kendall Wright but his decline is really concerning
  22. Yup. Suggesting this cap keeps parity in the league is just a talking point. It can easily be raised to 200 and maintain parity
  23. A lot of talk about Pees being gone.. most agree Harbs needs to make playoffs next year to keep his job safe. So I'm not sure Harbs would want to bring in TWO new coordinators in such an important upcoming season for his job.
