  1. We have the deep threat (Wallace) and we have the possession guy (Smith Sr.). Perriman has both skill sets, I believe. Now, the question is, who's gonna be our slot guy? I don't see anybody embracing that role.
  2. I totally agree, Stix. We have the weapons to spread it around and keep the defenses guessing. Perriman's status isn't going to make or break this season for us. The part that gets me is he made some great daggum catches in Game 1. He could break the curse of the 1st round WR busts if he could just get and STAY healthy. Very frustrating.
  3. Brittle Breshad strikes again.
  4. Its one thing when someone has a freak injury, comes back to play healthy for another year or two then gets injured again...but when they keep getting new injuries one right after the other and can't make it onto the field, I'm going to label them as "fragile" and write them off. I wish Elam, Pitta, and Perriman the best but, as of late, they've done nothing to warrant my optimism.
  5. I'm sorry but it kinda looked like John Urschel was brushing dirt off of his jersey. Just running to the huddle and flapping his hands. If I was a ref, I wouldn't have paid him any mind, either. He needs to get up in the refs face.
  6. The funny thing with that final play is that the OL stood up very well and Flacco had time and space but he still threw off his back foot. He had the room to step into it and lead Gilmore. I guess he was just accustomed to having no time so he panicked.
  7. This "elite" talk is getting old. Nobody cares, anymore. It's not news. Montana could hoist Flacco on his shoulders and proclaim him King of the World and, still, nobody would care. His productivity and success is well-documented. His STATS are well-documented. There's nothing more to be said about it. Yawn.
  8. I love my Ravens but I don't think Robinson's hit was all that aggregious. It was very aggressive but it was a solid tackle with the intent of dislodging the ball. And, guess what, the ball was dislodged...although it wasn't officially a fumble because the ground caused it. If it was a Ravens defender who made that tackle, we'd be making him a fan-favorite right now and calling it hard-nosed, AFC North football.
