Cobra jet....."IF" a frog had wings he wouldn't bump his butt......he doesn't so he does.....
We will dominate the Jags....
Signing JJ akes no sense to me.....we have enough washed up players. Let's give the young players a chance to shine.....
Someone said Jacoby looked sad.....who cares. What he looked to me was a major waste of dollars by the Chargers....better them, then us wasting money. He wanted big dollars for being a returner. In this day and age...there are very few kick offs returned, and punts as well.
He was a favorite, but he made a choice....now he lives with it.
Torn achilles gone for the season....what a warrior
Once again...(really 3 times today) Webb is beaten....this time for a SD TD.....when will we learn the man is a liability....the old Webby is long gone. Stop with the hope he will reappear.
Replace him now and let someone get some game reps. It's not like we have the Conference on the line...
Good news is Monroe will be out. Sorry he is injured, but he has played just awful....
Â
Who illy, I predict, once again a complete sell ot and every seat filled. To support our Team....it's what Raven Nation does....
Â
Go Ravens
Webb is a liability.....agree he was on Fitz and he only had three catches, but Webb had help n two of the plays and Fitz dropped one, I believe.....but he missed several tackles....and got turned around once like a HS corner....
His rating that week is one of the lowest on the D.....I like the guy....but it's not about that.
Time to move on from him.....
Why do I care what the cardinals think about the fame??? This article is a spade filler and serves no purpose....
Blah, blah,blah......most of what I read here is the same old crybaby crap.....yes, they made a few mistakes.....and yes the ref's sucked (no question).....but I watched a team that played, generally, with great intensity......our offense, given who we have.....played pretty well. Our D, playing against one of the best passing teams in the NFL....played better then previous games..our special teams played ok.....( I believe that a case can be made for Ross being down)...I'm optimistic on the rest of the season. How about some positive comments for a change......instead of the same old blah, blah, blah....
Besides.....we beat the squealers.....
GO RAVENS KEEP PUSHING........
I find it strange that the two players...Perriman and Maxx Williams....the two additions that most pundits felt put us into a SB contender have played very little. Perriman....what can I say....Williams has been hurt as much as not.
What did we (our scouts) miss about these two? Or is it just bad karma for us this year....?
Had Bellick Still been the coach we would still be a poor football team....why does everybody have selective memory. Have we that quickly forgotten Harbaugh's record....ok having a bad year, it happens.
Give us a break .....
I guess somebody has to say it.....I heard for over a year and half that after Lewis and Reed were gone..we had no leadership in the locker room.....I fought that thought process tooth and nail......NOW, I feel that it may just be true. We have a number of excellent players (just none in the secondary....yes including smith), we have a pro bowl LBer who was totally out of the game in the first half.....Mosby missed tackles and sucked dropping back (just my opinion). And last week he was horrible! Jimmy Smith played poorly again....second or third week in a row.........and HE gets Wright to come here...well thanks for that.....Wright was beaten so many times I lost count....almost no tight end involvement...Why?
Now to the tough part.....I have defended Flacco on this site and others for a few years now.....Joe just can't pick up open receivers .....he has one in mind and that is where he goes. Even if there are two or three defenders....the second interception he three there was at least one receiver open, possibly two....he throws it where nobody is.....how about OOB? When we won the SB and he was the MVP...the MVP should have been Boldin, he caught all those poorly thrown passes and made Joe look great. The two interceptions he threw today were stuff high school QB%u2019s do......he hasn't protected the ball the las two years......
Who in that locker room is calling people out? Who is insisting that we,play like Ravens.....and when we don't who visits the player at his locker and says man, you need to pick it up or else. Who is motivating the Team?
I said this before...I was following Baltimore Football before many of you were born.....I loved the Colts...I love the Ravens......but something very sinister is wrong with this club.....Instaed of tee shirts with cute sayings on them...Coach Harbaugh needs to kick some very serious arce. I also fought the idea that DC and OC were an issue.....but no more. COACH......YOU NEED TO CLEAN HOUSE! Unfortunately, this season is over as far as playoffs......so let's give a few of the young ones a chance to earn their stripes. Because we can't fix this in one year...so more of the same next year...even if we get the 1 st pick of the draft.....
I fly my team colors win or lose and I'll continue to do that....but this year it's hard. Dumb mistakes and poor execution.....
Very frustrated..like many of you...
Go Ravens.....
CQ1.....why would u hope a man who chose to walk out on us, gets any TD's.....he's gone....I want him to drop every ball that comes to him....
Why should we be interested in articles about or comments from...Torrey. I read he cried when he left.....but make no mistake, he left for a few dollars more...his decision.
Move on with those comments about him.....wish him the best.....but could care less about his feelings for our town, team or players.....we are 1-4....but we have a future. In San Fran he is stuck in a lousy organization....with no hope of change.
Just one man's opinion....
And PS: Reed and Lewis are gone....get over it.
Like most of you, I was disappointed with the loss and our performance.....some on here said that Jimmy Smith has played well.....not what I saw yesterday. Our secondary is put together with rubber bands and paper clips....it just can't get it done. The effort and desire is there, but not the talent.
All now realize the value of Suggs. Always got double teamed....allowing for someone else to step up.....with Elvis playing more time....his getting injured was a real possibility....and now we have no pass rush.
Injuries are taking us down.....not our coaching staff (IMHO). Assigning blame is always what happens....but it really serves no purpose....we have what we have. As to the foolish comment that "spend no matter what it costs"...I think MCJacket answered that....
It appears that we may be in for a long season...this year and possibly next year.....but the Ravens are our Team so get behind them....and stop the foolish, uneducated comments....they change nothing. Our schedule is not very hard the rest of the way.....except for the Bengals and Steelers.....so we "may" still be able to manage a winning season.....just not the playoffs.
Go Ravens..
Our staff should have handled the KR position over the offseason. This is what they put out for our options... Steve Smith - 36 years old /// Campanaro - injury prone. Is it that hard to sign a guy with speed only to play that position. What happened to the days when we signed guys just to play that position, Yamon Figurs etc
It's called a salary cap...along with greedy players...
Several of those on this blog have been very disrespectful of Perriman.....not sure why. Of those that demean him, how many have ever had a meaningful sports injury. Some just take longer then others......doesn't say he is faking.....
We should lay off him, or we will kill his will to do well here before he even plays.....this is not how Raven Nation should act toward one of our own....
Crusader......while I get your attempted point, you missed mine completely. Which for you understanding is.....because you can't see the forest for the tress....you don't burn down the trees......which seems to be the theme on this blog...things are bad or there is an issue...fire a coach (or Ozzie).....or run out and spend dollars we don't have to fix a short term problem, thus mortgage the following year...
Com'on man, your better then that response.....
Injuries are as much a part of football day to day, as TD's, fumbles....etc....it happens. Sometimes it's us, sometimes others....but complaining about strength coaches and workout routines is crazy...IMHO.
Someone said on this blog..."we play who we have....and let's see. " I agree with that thought, with some minor tweaks.
Chasing after high priced talent makes no financial sense....let us not forget that our FO has consistently produced a winning team......we should stop trying to be GM's.....cause you aren't
I trust our FO to resolve these issues going forward.....and still maintain the integrity of our cap dollars...and get us to the PLay Offs
Ibleedpurple.....maybe u should bleed black and gold.....u sure don't sound like a fan of our Ravens....
In Ozzie we trust....
Our D was awful....ok. Had we won, would people be blaming Flacco for the win? It never fails, Joe gets the blame...forget the offense put up 33 points. Or wk 1...Joe didn't have time to get a 3 step drop.....before her was covered in Broncos....YET, WE WERE ONE CATCH FROM A WIN. This week he kept us in the game.....33 points should = win.
True that anytime you lose...just like when u win....the QB Must get some responsibility.....but for flacco bashes on this site...why not start a " give us RG111....."...or go root for the Steelers.
All we need is our OL to block this week.....solves all issues.
Go_Ravens.....Unless we get the OL fixed, Perriman will be of little help....Joe doesn't have time to set up for the long ball....lets get the OL back in order then we can effectively use Perriman...
