we all have opinions.....that includes you.....that said, u gave no more proof about what was in flacco's head then I did...but reading the rest of these posts....I was not the only one to see him constantly target pitta....next opinion is that pitta will retire.....with a record
Not so fast- you claimed to know what Joe was up to, and I said that was ridiculous. Now, you say it was only an opinion- then go om to cite others opinions as proof.
So with your being burdened by an inability to read,...I suggest you go look again.....I said..." I believe"....that my friend us ppppcalled an opinion
Football isn't about breaking records......it's about wins. I believe Flacco was feeding his buddy to break the TE reception record....
This was a disgrace....there are teams that need a mediocre QB.....why not trade and get some help in other areas of need?
I know we are stuck with him.....so I guess this is just a useless rant.....
I have followed Baltimore Football since the Colts came to town....first time ...I'm ashamed of my Team...not just players, but coaches and front office...there is something wrong here and drafting better is not going to solve it...IMHOComplete baloney. Say what you will about Joe's performance, but to accuse him of trying to pad his buddy's stats to break a record (a record I'd wager he knew nothing of), even if it meant losing the game, is nonsense.

I've read and listened to all the views, pro n con on Flacco's performance.....it was the O-Line, or maybe the WR's, how about the WR coach......no maybe it was Coach Harbaugh........
I have defended Flacco's forever, but no more!
Someone in this thread said...."did u watch the game?"
Well said, because I did and Flacco on many of the dumps, was not pressured at time of release.....but went to the dump pass immediately...many say our receivers don't get open.....IMO Flacco, not always, but many times Flacco does not give the receivers time to finish a route.....and by the way, on planned dump routes.....without pressure, short arms it......ever notice with many QB's they hit receivers on the run.....Brady to hogan as an example.....our guys reaching behind constantly.....or down.....or to long.
Finally, is he or isn't he elite....again, in my opinion he is a pretty good QB, but there is no way he is elite....besides, what difference does that make.....
Three more wins and maybe just maybe we will see a playoff Flacco......but I doubt both
Good O-line play=Flacco having a good game....seems simple to me
Injuries, injuries.....that will be the ultimate tale of the tape.....
If the NFL wants to save this sport from moving to Mexico and England -exclusively- the next NFLPA agreement needs to base salaries on actual games suited up. The league has become so much about "safety" that there's little incentive for a lot of these players to get on the field.
We once saw Goose go off on a stretcher in a neck brace, only to see him return during the second half. Nowadays, players can post Instagram photos of them clubbin' it during the week, only to be wearing a sweatshirt on the sideline during the game.
Definite lack of heart among some of these guys.
I just had this same conversation....I go back to the colt days.....players played or pay was adjusted.....and those boys played for...quoting Art Donovan....$100 a game....
They lived the gamed and played so there teams could win.....fractures, high sprains, etc....."tape her up and put me in coach"....
Oh for a tougher breed
People.....those who want Joe gone, and talk about a new coach.....chill out. As a team we are playing this week for first place in our division.....NOTE: after losing 4 in a row......
we beat Pittsburgh and the clowns and we are right where we need to be....
Those constantly advocating change need only look as far as Cleveland....the masters of change.....can u say 0-7?
Joe is the guy.....he has had no blocking with his O-line hurt.....let's see what comes. End of year....front office takes a look. Our current back up is not the answer.......
It's really interesting and disappointing to read the virus of negativity starting to take hold.....do I have concerns? Certainly.....but Doom sucks, Ready for a new QB, all our injuries, give me a break.....stop complaining. Mess happens....like injuries...and loses. Call me when the next team, any team has no loses and no injuries...
By the way...Giants report looks almost as bad as our....but no comments about that....
We beat the Giants with the youth movement....
Ok gang.....enough of all the Suggs concerns. Suggs is just being Suggs...only a bit more mature......but make no mistake, Suggs is fine. Rehab is going as planned and he will be, with Doom, a force.....
As to what after Suggs? Somebody else will step up.....we had an injury riddled season.....happens
Every year....it really gets old to listen to the rants.....most particularly, when the poster makes no sense at all......"Oz, Eric and scouts need to get canned"......really???
Come back to reality.....we have one of the best FO's in pro football.....maybe if your unhappy with how they do things, you should apply for the job....
I don't see how. Ravens have Yanda and Zuttah that's it for Offensive line and who is playing Linebacker positions? Arthur Brown? Mosley can't cover and that's leave Orr, too inexperience. Ravens will be lucky to break 8-8.
Best to wait till all things are final, before you start predicting the future....more signing may be coming and #6 pick may help.....
Some make the argument that competition was not as good in the second half.....not sure that argument floats.
Steelers, Bengals, Jacksonville? Some decent QB's in that group...and Keenum is not a bum.....
Just sayin....
In reading through these posts.....I noted there was a reference to mallet competing for starting QB.....I wondered how long it would take for that crap to surface.
Joe is our QB unless he is hurt......PLeeeeese don't start the Millet for president or starting QB.....it just foolishness.
I know we lost a spot or two in the draft...but sweeping the Steelers and knocking them out of playoff contention.....PRICELESS.
Our young players and players we have drafted played with passion...they showed some signs of growing into nice NFL players....
Our coaches had a proper game plan, both Offense and defense.....special teams did just fine.
Soooooo, can we stop all the attacks I've read over the weeks on this site, on coaches, FO and some of our young guys.....and focus more on next year.... I get it, that's it's just one win.....in a long tough season.....but it shows we have a core of a team that can win...We get our front line players back.....and we can potentially be a playoff contender.
Looks like we have our backup QB......and a top ten first round pick....
In MHO, I'm feeling very good about our team.....and yes.....I drink the purple koolaid......so sue me...
And by the way...the great Redskin organization you speak of Ozziebisczotti, they have beaten nobody of worth....and will most probably be one and done in the playoffs...
Please stop blaming coaches and FO.....it's a down season. Deal with it, or route for the deadskins.....
The crying gets old.
To me, I saw some good in this game.....our defensive front stopped the run....our offense moved the ball.....yes, we shot ourselves in the foot again with stupid penalties.......receiving group played pretty well....
Our secondary is a major issue.....all of them, from Smith to webby to hill to the rest of the no names....to me, that is where the rebuilding needs to start....with the draft and possibly FA....
I for one think blaming Coach and Ozzie......is just flat wrong. IMHO
Virginia55..... He was leaving no matter what we did....he wanted to start....not a FO issue
I keep hearing Ravens don't have the talent, its not Dan Pees fault, John only has what he got to work with. Sounds like the fingers are pointing to OZZIE and crew.
Why do fingers need to be pointed at anyone....???
Well, that's kind of the truth, isn't it? This team is leaderless, and Has been since Ray retired. Anybody who has played really competitive team sports knows just how important it is to have leaders on the team. Otherwise, success is just about impossible to attain. I challenge you to name One leader on this team. I honestly don't believe that we have even One. If a team doesn't have players as leaders, then it better durn sure have a HC that has the ability to step into that role. Anybody seen any evidence that Harbs has that ability? I haven't. In fact, unfortunately, I think that I've seen him get rid of a few players that just Might have had the ability to be leaders. Of course, not to the magnitude of a Ray Lewis. But Ray Lewis is in a class of his own. I doubt there will be another quite like him again.
Hogwash.....
Crusader.....that bunk.
Flacco's injury was a pure accident....forsett same same....injuries happen. Stop looking to blame someone. It's NFL football, people get hurt.
Wow...reading across these threads, it appears people are throwing our entire coaching staff and front office under the bus. Grow up.....teams have issues....you work through them. The cuts deliver a message that carelessness has consequences......I believe you may see a couple more. The signings make sense from the standpoint that we have most of a half of season to go......
Our coach and front office are amongst the best in the NFL.......they should have our support.
Go Ravens
As I watched this game unfold, even when we were clearly still in the hunt.....a reality set in.....we are playing one of the worst teams in the NFL...and we are just hanging on. I have no clue what the answer is to this, but I don't see it being resolved in a year, unfortunately.
Props to Elvis for stepping up to accept responsibility, but as was said earlier......enough blame to go around. Fumbles, dropped passes, dropped interceptions.....the blame shouldn't fall on one person....maybe some should fall on our coaching staff.....because with a bye week, although we played somewhat better....our offense did play better...given who we had....but as the game progressed....the same old things started to happen.....penalties, drops on offense, drops on Defense.....drops on special teams......poor play calling in the last Qtr......
All in all, the loss was brutal......but it is what it is......the Ravens are still our/my team......and to the end, I'll support them.
Go Ravens.....claw back.

Reference Joe's comments.....my thoughts about this year to Joe about our OC are simple... You weren't asked because the problem is the "man in your mirror".....that is and has been our teams problem on offense.
