  1. Lots of empty seats in Cincy.

The middle-level seats (green seats always shown) are typically empty each game because they are club prices.

At halftime, half the fans are in concession areas and don't make it back to their seats until almost mid-3rd qtr.

Alot of fans didn't go today also because it's week 17 with a couple backup QBs, and didn't really mean a whole lot for Cincy (they can still get a bye even if they lose. If Denver loses and KC wins,, KC wins the AFCW which pits Denver as a wildcard. Not likely, but still possible).

  2. If the Bengals lose in the playoffs AGAIN they should fire Marvin Lewis. How many more stacked teams will choke when it matters? How many playoff wins does the "bully" of the AFCN have? Get outta here.

I agree with that. Marvin sits at 0-6 for postseason play. 2 of those losses were before Dalton even got drafted in the NFL,, both were Home games,, both were with a Very talented roster too (Palmer, Ocho, Willie, Jones, etc.)

Seriously, how many organizations would stick with a coach if he went 0-4 or even 0-3 postseason? I would think not many.

If Marvin gets to 0-7 (which is VERY likely), they have to make a change. Wouldn't they?

^^as for the "Bully" comment,, I don't get that one either. All 3 AFCN teams strongly compete with each other each season. No "Bullies" here (unless you want to say that Pitt,Balt,Cin bully up on the Browns lol!

  3. AFCN is the most competitive division in football IMO. There is no bully. There are 3 teams that trade punches with each other.

    AFCN Titles:

    2015 Bengals

    2014 Steelers

    2013 Bengals

    2012 Ravens

    2011 Ravens

    2010 Steelers

    2009 Bengals

Looks like a "slobberknocker" division to me, where each team contends for titles just about each year (injury-riddled seasons aside,, that's just bad luck).

Also, each team seems to struggle with matchups that other division teams don't. I'm not sure "struggle" is the right term, but you get my drift.

    Steelers struggle with Ravens

    Bengals struggle with Steelers

    Ravens struggle with Bengals

Maybe it's just due to matchups as another couple posters mentioned? Idk.

Of course, then there's the Browns, lol. Maybe someday they'll legitimately become competitive again and really make this division something to see.

No real bullies in this division IMO,, just tough competition.

  4. That's really good news for you guys. Steve Smith is one of my favorite football players of the last decade-plus. He has a fire and intensity that easily shows whenever you watch him.

I'm glad he's giving it another "go-around". It was tough to think a player like that would go out his final year with a terrible injury while most of his team got hammered by injuries causing a real disappointing season.

Now he gets another chance to finish with a really good year on a team that has a real shot to win a championship if the roster stays healthy.

    Good for him!
