If there are any backup players not on this list you desire, odds are I'll be willing to trade them. These are the notable names though.

  2. I had to redeem myself after trading away Brees last year and signing Brock Osweiler in his stead. Brees has a solid two years of production left, and Snead will help give Brees a target he knows and trusts as he transitions to a new offense in a new city. Houston desperately needed a QB to contend, and now they have one.

    Texans give:

Benardrick McKinney, ILB    (+0.5 stars for Texans, -1 star for Saints)

Kareem Jackson, CB           (+4.5 stars for Texans, -6.5 stars for Saints)

Ebron was the one I wasn't expecting to make coming into this game.  Figured he's going to be better than anything I pick up in the 3rd round, especially with my track record there.

I agree. He's well worth the price in my mind. I would've jumped on that very quickly.

Appreciate it.  I'm used to being the one that trades the veteran players away so I can continue a youth swing, but I felt the Packers were in a different place and it's different to actually add some veteran pieces instead.

I agree completely. The moves you've made so far have been very appropriate to the team's current situation.

Connor Barwin certainly didn't play well last year and is on the downswing of his career, but I'm still happy to have him.  The 4-3 clearly wasn't working in his favor, and it looks like both the Eagles and Barwin realize that.  It looks like he'll be going to a 3-4 team by trade or free agency, and hopefully that pushes him back to the 7-8 sack type of guy he's been.  I'll take that with his solid run stopping and coverage, and it means I don't have to compete as hard with everyone in EDGE FA lol

Fantastic move on your part. Very well played

Brock Osweiler is why they lasted so long.

The only thing that stopped me from taking the Vikings was the fact they had no first round pick.

I think he's a bargaining chip. He needs the right system to succeed, the right mindset, and the right coaching. Houston is not that place though.

Yeah true, but the Vikings could easily flip Bradford for close to what they payed for him. The key is whether or not Teddy will be good to go in 2017.

I think it's fixable - between cap space and the draft they should be able to get better at QB. Watt coming back, too - it's like extra No 1 pick and that defense wasn't too shabby without him either

Yeah I'm in agreement. The Vikings were my number one choice since the beginning, but the Texans aren't a bad consolation prize. They're nearly the same but they have less bargaining chips. Plus they were a playoff team even without JJ Watt and solid QB play.
