So is this league going to be a dynasty league? Or will there be a redraft every year?
It's a tough year for QB. Most of that long lived upper tier are hitting their downfall, and we don't really have anyone ascending into that upper tier either.
Exactly! All the Elite QBs from 3 years ago are past their prime, and are hoping for one last Super Bowl before they retire. Then you also have a whole bunch of young guys on the rise. I think it is personal preference when you are looking for guys on the rise... There's no guarantee that anybody is gonna pan out to become a HOFer. Even with Andrew Luck... The question is will he ever win a Super Bowl (almost like with young Flacco).
I thought he's a lock for 1023rd spot
Oh yeah true that. Tebow owns the 1022nd spot
lmao, who is 1022?
Johnny Bench
I'm one of the most anti-Wilson people out here.
True because we are Ravens fans. But the way I like my offense on Madden, he's the perfect fit for the team I like to run. I prefer a lot of read option and a mobile QB who can make throws on the run. Plus it doesn't hurt he is the most talented young guy on the board.
Is anyone else having problems with the link for the Google doc?
Use the big board thread link. The link in the draft didn't work for me at first either....
With the 3rd pick in the 2015 Draft a Franchise, Team Ramrod selects...
Russell Wilson, QB
(Mobile device)
Well this is a bit disappointing from a pace point of view, especially when the pick is pretty obvious.
Very much so... But he has to get it done tonight because his 12 hour window will expire at 1:00 AM Eastern
Atleast Arod got drafted 1st in this draft unlike back in 2005 when he came into the league. (I can't believe it's been 10 years)
Maybe it was better for him that way. He could sit behind Brett Favre for a couple years and learn. He wasn't thrown in front of the firing squad on day 1.
Wow, you guys weren't joking that it will take weeks to finish.
12 hours are allotted per pick haha so yeah
In the draft thread, there is one reply and 126 views. Mine accounting for at least 73 of those views ![]()
Penciled in after a fist bump.
Virtual fist bump returned with honor.
Thank you and I'm glad you mentioned that. Boy do I hate that...
Seriously. Especially the slightly yellowed cotton Hanes crew socks with brown leather Velcro sandals... blehh
When buying steaksauce, always choose A1 over Heinz 57
Rule 6: No socks with sandalsNo apologies necessary my friend. In fact, we dropped the ball on our end by not mentioning it sooner so I apologize for not giving the heads up in advance. We had a long, detailed thread for the Forum Mock called "Rules Thread" but that was mostly because the process was far more complex. The only other rules that I can think of which apply to this process are:
1. No trading players or draft selections.
2. No picking out of turn.
3. Each team is given 12 hours to make a selection.
4. If a team is skipped twice, their allotted time is halved thereafter (i.e. 12=6=3, etc.).
5. Every team must have an entry in the "Directory and Rosters" thread.
We also have a rule that colluding with other participants isn't allowed, but it's rather difficult to collude under the circumstances. I hope I didn't miss anything.
You're new to this process and it hasn't been made mention of before so there's no way that you would've known, but we have a rule in place that we don't discuss players who are still available. Just figured I'd give a heads up.
Gotcha. Since he said it in an open forum I thought it was fair game... My bad
Andrew Luck is most likely gone with this second pick. @BmoreBird22 was talking earlier about how he likes him at #2
Anybody heard what time the draft is gonna start?
Or how about #2...
Hehe what about #3? Third time's the charm
Actually the best team consists of 18 fullbacks, 6 kickers, a punter and Tim Tebow.I recommend drafting 26 fullbacks
Why is Andrew Luck so highly rated? I mean he's good, but he isn't the best.

Ah, so that's where the whole production vs. potential argument comes into play when discussing value of players. Wilson may have more longevity and may win more Super Bowls in the future, but Brady will most likely have a better season this one year.
