With the 25th pick in the second round of the 2017 Forum Mock Draft,
The Houston Texans select:

The friendliest looking offensive lineman in this year's class-
Taylor Moton, OL
Western Michigan
Sorry for the wait guys. Had to weigh all my options after Kizer got taken.

I was worried that you were going to take him at 14. He was the last guy left on my board for pick 19... Melifonwu was one I was bummed to see go, but I think Baker fits the Texans scheme better anyways.

I really fell in love with his tape. He's a high-effort guy with a nose for the ball and he's a surprisingly sure tackler. He's got good block shedding ability, and he was listed as a LB at Washington in some news articles because he lined up as more of a box safety in most games I watched. He switched to the nickleback role at times as well. I'll probably slot him in at SS for now with Darrelle Revis at FS.
With the 19th pick in the second round of the 2017 Forum Mock Draft, the Houston Texans select:

Budda Baker, S
University of Washington
@ArsenalRaven666 pass your board along to somebody before you go to bed. I'll do the same before I log off, and hopefully we can keep this thing moving.

Yeah, Fitz finally started playing like Fitz again that game. It was pretty sad to watch a whole season go down the drain like that. Not quite as sad as the Antonio Brown reach this year, but close.

They were a Bills game away from the playoffs last year

That's true, but it does seem to be the classic veteran band-aid move. I'm not against it, because it protects us from losing leverage by being forced to take a corner with that first or second pick.
Yet if we don't pick a capable corner in the draft and we try to pass this off as our solution at the position I think it will be a big mistake. Like @ArsenalRaven666 said, we'll just have to see.

I agree. Also surprised he didn't pass his board off, given he had one specific player in mind. He's usually pretty good about that
Good to hear that Revis has been cleared. It sounds like he's really going to make a conscious effort to play better this year too.

Well I suppose that's somewhat comforting.... lol
Good pick in Watt. Was hoping he would slip to 19. The thought of getting double the Wattage on my defense was very tempting, but I didn't want to pull the trigger on him at 2.2.... now I'm paying the consequences.
Just now, arnie_uk said:What do you mean by better? BB gave up a lot more and he was well worth it imo
He means you got a great deal.

Hahaha true, true. A man is only as good as his favorite quarterback. That's what led to the retirement of John Madden... Brett Favre finally decided to call it quits
It wouldn't be the Forum Mock without a classic three team trade. This one was done in honor of the late, great @Mt. Crushmore.
He abstained from play selflessly, so somebody else could finally have the best team... what a true legend.
But real talk, he's probably going to be blown away when he comes back and the whole Forum is shut down lol
Philadelphia Eagles get:
Round 2, pick 2
Denver Broncos get:
Round 2, pick 11
Round 4, pick 14
Houston Texans get:
Round 2, pick 19
OG Max Garcia (0.5 stars both ways)
Okay the next pick should be in relatively soon. We're cooking up a 3 team trade right now

I really like Jamal Adams from LSU. I was rather disappointed by his 40 time, but he plays much faster on tape, where his closing speed appears unreal. His run defense is a tad haphazard at times due to over pursuing but his coverage was impeccable.

Pretty thrilled to get to get Morris Claiborne. He's young and he's got loads of potential that flashed at times this season. I think for 8.5 stars he came at pretty solid value, given the market this year.
Probably will put Darrelle Revis at FS, hopefully for a result similar to Charles Woodson and Ladarius Webb. Sam Shields will bring a vet presence to the team, perhaps he can resurrect his career in Texas.

Sorry about that... It's good to hear I didn't reach though. I loved his tape, and he's not really an underrated prospect anymore so I felt I had to take him...
