  1. Where there's a will...
  2. @ludy51 is on the clock. Mike McCoy's offense and Philip Rivers have made sweet music the last 3 years. I think this is the perfect situation for McCoy, as well as for Rivers. McCoy's offense has really made the most of Philip Rivers skillset and instead of picking a coach with more upside, I'd rather keep my veteran QB in a position where he's had proven success. My coaching staff is now complete: HC: Mike Tomlin OC: Mike McCoy DC: Wade Phillips My secondary is, in my opinion, capable of running the same man to man scheme to accommodate blitz-heavy playcalling by Wade Phillips. The only problem I may encounter is I have drafted a 4-3 defense. He has usually run a 4-3 but considering the blitz packages will probably look the same it shouldn't hurt things too much. What do you guys think?
  3. Team Ramrod selects: Mike McCoy, OC Mike Adams, SS
  4. Matthew Stafford, Mike Wallace, and Kamar Aiken are available. Others will be as well for the right offer. Looking for capable RB and/or QB replacement. Might be willing to bundle Stafford and another player in a trade for a better QB.
  5. I do wish we could select coordinators in the first 26 rounds. A good coaching staff can make all the differenc. Imagine if somebody could have a staff with Todd Bowles at DC, Bruce Arians at OC, and Belichick at HC. That's a huge investment but it brings another layer of strategy to the game.
  6. Yeah that bummed me out. I think you got him late in the 4th, correct? I was hoping he'd fall to my 5th rounder
  7. Will Redmond was one of my favorite players in this year's draft. His athletic ability mixed with his cover skills and hands really wowed me. His tape was solid, and early reports sound like he's a hard working guy who has lots of intangibles.
  8. @ludy51 is up
  9. Team Ramrod selects: Brandon Coleman, WR Will Redmond, CB
  10. @ludy51 is up
  11. Team Ramrod selects: Jermaine Gresham, TE Dan Carpenter, K
  12. Team Ramrod selects: Brett Kern, P
  13. Thanks man. I was really surprised when I realized he hadn't been picked yet. He and Delvin Breaux should make a good team in New Orleans if, like you said, he's healthy.
  14. Skip me again please. I'll make my next pick in a separate post that way it's obvious I've made my pick
  15. Team Ramrod selects: Keenan Lewis, CB
  16. When do the next round of the playoffs start?
  17. I picked one dude, but skip me for now for my second pick. Haven't really had time to restock my board. This last round got me
  18. Team Ramrod selects: Shawn Lauvao OG Shea McClellin LB
  19. Of course. How could I possibly forget his name?
  20. That's true. But at this point the bet on the upside is worth it. Belichick seems to get the best out of eh-Olinemen year in and year out. I'd call this a good pick at this point @Mt. Crushmore
  21. Partially because defenses step up their play as a unit a lot in January.
  22. How did Matt Kalil fall that far? I forgot about him completely.
  23. Sorry for making you wait guys. I assumed I wouldn't be on the clock until this morning. Obviously I guessed wrong. My bad
  24. Team Ramrod selects: Marcus Smith, DE Vernon Davis, TE
  25. I agree with the love for @BOLDnPurPnBlacK. I really like this team, and I think with Mike McCarthy at the helm we might see a rebirth for Sam Bradford. He built his team around running the ball and owning the trenches. His DL is nightmarish. I gave this team both my votes.
