  1. Yeah I saw that. One heck of a steal... Who was your QB?
  2. Poor codizzle... Kinda inherited a rough pick :/
  3. IMO he'll be better than Winston
  4. It's okay. I didn't need to sleep tonight anyway...
  5. Agreed. Kap at 22 is a steal. Good value pick
  6. Well, Purplecity has until about noon EST to pick...
  7. Exactly. You just can't trust him to take a big hit without wondering if he'll get up...
  8. Yeah, throwing 18/25 for 206 yards and 2 TDs on the national stage to lead his team to a 43-8 victory is next to nothing... Not sold
  9. What if we added a 27th round and required a head coach be chosen?
  10. That. Face. Is. Priceless.
  11. Okay yes the Green Bay game was rough. Very rough. But the Super Bowl was not his fault. That pass was perfectly thrown, and that was a good read. At the moment he threw that ball, Lockette was wide open. That was just a ridiculous break on the ball by that rookie corner (his name escapes me)... I would not make that loss his fault. That one is on the coaching staff, plus just a damn good job by the CB.
  12. I would agree with you. But in my opinion, I'll take a proven postseason winner like Wilson or Flacco over a mid season wonder guy
  13. I understand. Our definition of clutch is skewed because Flacco turns into superman in January. He is the ultimate definition of clutch. Russell Wilson my not be perfect like Flacco, but he is a proven winner. He wins the big games...that's my definition of clutch. I could honestly come up with a list of 5 good QB's who don't keep a cool head in big games. Wilson keeps his chill and usually comes out on top. I like that
  14. True, he hasn't completely, but I plan to shape the offense around him, playing by his rules, using his strengths. He is also a winner. The kid is clutch. So many more intangibles with Wilson than Ryan...
  15. Hmmm.........yeah. Kiss Russell Wilsons Super Bowl ring.
  16. Seriously man... I kinda wish I was able to trade down
  17. Haha that's awesome! How does tomorrow look? Is it a good day?
  18. How many hours are you behind Eastern time?
  19. Agreed. Brees was a steal. Still has 2-3 years of good football left. Roethlisberger is pretty good too. But what will be interesting to watch is the QB slide. Will someone bite on the old guys? Or go with young blooded defenders?
  20. Yeah Winston went a lot earlier than I expected...
  21. I agree he is a spectacular player, but he has not even hit his prime. His prime will be when he wins the big games. When he leads his team to the super bowl once or twice (note that I said "when", not "if") he will be widely respected as one of the best. But for now, I don't think he compares to Brady, Manning, or Brees. Flacco has an edge on him because of his playoff skill. His clutch factor is off the charts. But Luck has a very bright future, and had he been there at number 3, I would've taken him no doubt.
  22. Pick #8 is just too steep a price for him...
  23. I find this Luck discussion interesting. I agree that all the elite guys of the past are fading away, and a new elite class is stepping up. Andrew Luck is the best of that new class, but I would not go far enough to call him elite just yet. He is stepping into that role, but he hasn't completely yet. He needs a little more time to be able to read the field like Tom Brady or Drew Brees.
  24. That's how I'm treating it. Makes it more fun that way. Those one year wonder fantasy football leagues kinda miss out because they don't draft for longevity. It's all about the short term stats these days...
