Ok so the goal for our defense next year is pick up where we left off. It'd be great if we didn't need an 8 game slump to finally hit our groove defensively.

Just gonna throw this out here, Joe Flacco is a freaking MAN for running two more plays on a torn ACL, and then jogging off the field. His pain tolerance is insane!

Yes! I'm thrilled Daniel Brown is getting a chance... He was looking like a beast in the preseason. He seemed to have some chemistry with Matt Schuab too

He was still playing his corners 10 yards off the line, but he stopped doing that when they got to the red zone, so I guess that counts as inspiration...

I don't know if you guys noticed this last night, but I only saw us line up our corners in press coverage about 3 times, and every time we did, Palmer had nobody open and the pass rush had time to get to him and he threw it away all 3 times. Idk, I'm no expert but I really enjoy watching our corners play press coverage, and I think it really helps improve the secondary. Jimmy Smith is a natural press cover corner, and Webby is better in press than he is in zone. I honestly think it's something that would improve our defense. No more 10 yards off the line on first down.

Aside from Jimmy Smith, do we even have "key defensive backs"? Because last I checked, we have a patchwork secondary that couldnt stop a high school offense on their best day.

Is there a rule on this site that those on payroll can't knock the coaching staff? Not one person has had the gall to address Dean Pees' absolutely horrid job at making this team anything but a laughingstock... Like the Browns putting up OVER 500 yards on us

I would love to see a chart that shows, comparatively, how many points Justin Tucker has scored in the last three seasons compared to other Ravens on the team. Would it be possible with the amount of 3 pointers he's nailed that he outnumbers Flacco's six pointers? That would be interesting to see.

The offensive line simply has to play better. Joe's been thrashed as of late, and unfortunately his play drops off a cliff when he's under consistent pressure.

Ozzie: Please get Flacco somebody besides Steve Smith to throw to. Just one guy who he can count on under pressure, and who we can count on to stay in Baltimore more than 3 years. I'd hate for this franchise to look back one day and say, "Man, we really crapped away Joe's prime years. How many more rings could we have snagged if we had just had one more pass catcher?". Joe is one of the best QBs who whether we like it or not, has one of the most underperforming WR groups in the league. My only question is what could he do with a dynamic pass catcher like Antonio Brown, A.J. Green, or Julio. We may never know...

Soul searching meaning... Talent searching? Chemistry searching? Defensive scheme searching? Whatever we are going to do we have to do fast. Time is ticking. The season is still young and definitely salvageable, but December will be here before we know it.
