Saints are in a pretty tight cap situation, so yes in a way, because they can use every quality player that comes at a low cost. Breaux definitely fits that description.
Considering Boldin and Steve are practically the same players in terms of skill sets, the production wouldn't be that great.
That's true. But I think Steve would still be more productive than Anquan. Steve would probably have more yardage, but Boldin would still be that red-zone specialist we hoped marlon brown would develop into.
And this is what people didn't consider when we signed him to this mega-deal a couple years ago. All of us know Flacco is a team-first guy, and he'll help out the team whenever possible. The team completely expected to restructure the deal when they signed him. The inflated back-loaded deal was simply a statement of how important Joe is to this organization.
Yo regz1997 is back after forum hypersleep lol... What's the WRs we're crushing on? Seems we are a little behind in that category considering all the talent at that position in the AFC North
We added Cris Matthews? That's a solid pickup, considering how clutch he looked in the super bowl. Perhaps he'll be our dark horse next January with Flacco. Rostering two extremely clutch dudes, ladies and gentlemen, is always good.
I haven't seen a team so completely decimated by injuries keep playing with heart and determination like our Ravens. I'm still proud to be Ravens fan and I look forward to having everybody back and healthy with some new talent from the coming draft and increased cap dollars.
